Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are pulling out all the stops for this week's wedding, and one of the venues they've locked down is considered the crown jewel of the island.

00:05and it is increasingly looking like something you might see in England.
00:11Meaning a royal wedding.

00:14Not that they're going to England.

00:16No, they're going to Venezia.
00:18They're going to Venice, where Kim Kardashian married Kanye West, by the way.
00:22But this is going to be bigger.
00:23It's going to be way bigger.
00:25Hopefully it goes a little better than that.

00:30But this is going to be a three-day event, beginning Thursday, going in through Saturday.
00:37And it is going to be by land.
00:40It is going to be by sea.
00:42Their enormous giga yacht is going to be docked nearby, and they will have events on that yacht.
00:50But also, one of the things we've been hearing, there's just a ton of celebrities and moguls.
00:57I mean, I don't know that they know non-famous people.

01:03No Amazon executives or anything.
01:05I mean, look, I will tell you, I talked to somebody today, just a few minutes ago, who was saying, and I'm sorry, but it was just so funny.
01:15He said, they're inviting their best friends from the last five years.
01:19It kind of feels like, you know what, like the Knicks games or the Lakers game, they have this celebrity row.
01:25And you have to be a certain level famous to be on the floor, and then you're next level famous in the second row.
01:32Like, you've got to be a floor famous to make it to this.
01:35I mean, they've got, you just name it.
01:37But the interesting thing is this, that we found out that there is this thing now that billionaires who have these mega yachts,
01:45and there's a fabulous book called The Haves and Have Yachts, and it's just all about this culture of these giga yachts.

01:56So these billionaires are staying away from the Mediterranean this month because they feel like it's going to be so overcrowded and so hyped up that all of these billionaires,
02:12what we're hearing is they're changing their travel plans, and they're going to, instead of going to the Mediterranean in July, they're going to have to go in August.

02:22It is so hot.
02:23Poor guys.
02:24But that's, it's just become a big thing that they are overtaking the Mediterranean in this.
02:30What I've heard is there's an island off the coast, San Giorgio Maggiore, and there's a cultural center there,
02:38and I've heard that the ceremony is going to be held at that cultural center.
02:41In fairness, we haven't confirmed it, but we're hearing from some people who are on that island.
02:46I'm hearing whispers through Venice that it could take place there.
02:50I've also heard whispers that it might not be there.
02:53It might be somewhere else, but I've heard a couple really good whispers that it is going to be at that center.
02:58So this is a very famous, and actually, you know, the interesting thing is that you would think that this is going to be like a 500-year-old cathedral or something.

03:11So there's no chance that it's on the boat.

03:14This place is considered the crown jewel, by the way, of this area.

03:22Greenpeace is really against this wedding.

03:26They had this giant banner they unfurled in St. Mark's Square.
03:30It basically says, if you can rent Venice for your wedding, you can pay more tax.
03:36They're part of this big effort to basically say to Jeff Bezos, you're not welcome here.
03:41How do you think this thing is playing?
03:44Because they do represent wealth at a time when we've got ice raids going on, when we're at war, when we've got all this serious stuff happening, and they're just flaunting that wealth, you know, in the middle of Europe right now.
03:59I think that's probably the point, is that there are a lot of people who are going to say this is emulating Princess Diana.

04:06And they shouldn't be doing that.
04:07But I don't think it has anything to do with taxes or inequality.
04:11Oh, no, I'm not just saying that.
04:12No, but that's going to be, if there's criticism, it's going to be that.
04:17I just wonder if the public kind of feels like.
