Raja Raghuvanshi murder: Shilom James nabbed for hiding evidence, FSL & SIT recover burnt evidence

Indore ( Madhya Pradesh ) , June 22, 2025 (ANI) : Shillong Police arrested Shilom James, a property dealer in Indore who allegedly rented flat to Vishal, one of the three contract killers hired by Sonam Raghuvanshi to kill Raja Raghuvanshi. However, the authorities have shared no information of his involvement is the murder case. The probe is still underway. Meghalaya SIT team and FSL Indore, reached Hare Krishna Vihar Colony in Indore with Shilom James, who had burnt Sonam Raghuvanshi's bag. FSL Indore collected the pieces of the burnt bag and burnt pieces of Sonam's belongings for forensic investigation. Crime Branch Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said “based on the evidence gathered, one of the accused, Shilom James, a property dealer, has been arrested. After his arrest, he was sent for medical examination. After being granted transit remand, he will be taken to Shillong. The SIT has shared no information regarding his involvement. The crime branch was also present, reporting that some evidence was found during the investigation, leading to Shilom James' arrest... Possibly, he is the one who provided the rented flat to Vishal (one of the three contract killers hired by Sonam Raghuvanshi)".
