Thank you David for those words and thanks everyone for coming out every one of these
00:16
last 13 years. It's really made it happen, this community. It's amazing. Our committee
00:25
has been hard-working and wonderful and even though we're not going to have this
00:31
physical event again in this space, there will be something happening every year on the 21st of June
00:39
on the solstice and it might be bigger and different than what we've come to know in the
00:47
last few years. So thank you and Annette has to say something. I would just like to say
00:54
that the Albury-Wodonga community have actually owned this event since its first year and until
01:08
now and we are grateful there would be no event if you were not sitting out there in the freezing
01:15
cold and thank you. Thank you for turning up.
01:19
I asked Stuart, he said yep and then asking Annette was the next challenge but it was so
01:38
lovely to have their faces and their voices as something of a finale for our final physical
01:45
event. Number 13, I'm not superstitious. In fact, I think it's even better that we've embraced our
01:52
so-called fears and phobias and tonight is the final physical night but as you've just heard
01:56
there are some grand plans afoot and I'm sure the committee, the bakers and other agencies and
02:02
people involved will let you know when that is clear what the next direction is. It will be attached
02:08
to the longest night of the year. That's an important part of it because no matter how dark
02:14
it is and I presume there's still people out there, there will be a dawn, there will be daybreak
02:20
at the end of the longest night. And to conclude what has been our 13th and beautiful night, it's
02:26
been an exceptional night. I would love to introduce for the final time Northern Folk to see us conclude
02:32
tonight's event. Thanks so much for being part of it and thank you everyone for being part of the 13th
02:38
and final winter solstice.
