00:00Leeds United have confirmed their first signing of the summer transfer window ahead of their return to the Premier League
00:05with Lukas Nemecha set to join the Whites at the start of July when his current contract in Germany comes to an end.
00:13Nemecha has made clear that he is raring to get going at Elland Road in the near future.
00:19Yeah, I'm really excited, happy. Yeah, I just can't wait to get going.

00:28Well, I've got some people that have been here, like Josh, who I've played with,
00:32who told me about the atmosphere, the fans, and obviously I've played against Leeds in the Championship
00:36and it's a massive club and, you know, it's the next challenge.
00:40Can't wait to play in the Premier League with the team and do well.
00:44Yeah, tell me about that conversation with Josh Guilavogi because he's a big fan's favourite here.
00:48So, did he have to sell the club much?
00:51Well, I trust Josh. He's like one of probably the nicest guys in football that I know.
00:57So, yeah, he said it's a massive club. If I get the opportunity, I should definitely do it.
01:02And he said, yeah, the fans are crazy and the boys are good as well.
01:07So, yeah, he gave a really good first impression.
01:11Leeds United have discovered their Premier League fixtures for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
01:17Daniel Farkett's side will begin the campaign at home at Elland Road against Everton under David Moyes.
01:24Then, Daniel Farkett's side will take a trip to the capital to face last season's runners-up, Arsenal,
01:30at the Emirates Stadium, managed by Mikel Arteta, before they then return home to West Yorkshire at Elland Road
01:36to welcome Newcastle United under the stewardship of Eddie Howe, who, of course, last season won the Carabao Cup
01:43and qualified for the Champions League.
01:45Leeds United will face rivals Manchester United in January and April,
01:51two sets of fixtures that Leeds fans will, of course, have been looking out for when the fixtures were announced.
01:56And then the Whites will end the season away in the capital against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
02:04In a game that they will hope will provide a good enough fixture if they are needing something on the final day of the season.
02:10But, of course, they will hope that they are safe and secure.
