Luke Humphries dedicates Darts Premier League win to Leeds fans

00:00World darts number one, Luke Humphries, dedicated his win in Leeds to the crowd in the city.

00:07Yeah, really special to be honest.

00:09Like I said, it's not my hometown and that, but of course it still feels like that.

00:13I've got such a great relationship with the city of Leeds, the Leeds fans.

00:17It's a lovely reception from them and it's really great when you give them that win as well.

00:24Obviously last year was a different feeling because I was desperate, desperate to win

00:29because I really wanted that feeling and I got it.

00:31This time, of course, it's still great, but it's been a great couple of weeks for Leeds fans.

00:36I'm sure that just tops off a little bit and makes them all very proud.

00:40It gives you a bit of confidence, a bit of belief in yourself.

00:42I don't think I've been playing that bad over the last couple of months.

00:45I've been averaging over 100 and stuff, just not really finishing my opponents off

00:49and playing at that critical performances that I did last year.

00:54I think I said it earlier on in one of my interviews.

00:56Last year I was really clinical, this year I haven't been, but I'm not out.

01:02I'm still playing decent, I have to be honest.

01:04It's just not being clinical.

01:06But tonight and a couple of nights over this Premier League outspin,

01:09so hopefully I can do it when it really matters in the finals night.

01:12And Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker took the chance to reflect

01:16on what has been an emotional season for all associated with the Whites

01:20following their triumph as the champions of the championship

01:24with the win away at Plymouth Argyle on the final day of the season.

01:29If I'm honest, it's not 1% energy in my tank anymore, so I'm so, so done,

01:36but also so, so proud of the boys, of the whole stuff, of the whole club,

01:39of our supporters.

01:42100 points to win the league, also in this way.

01:46Again, many resilience also on the way even today,

01:50and to have this belief and in the crunch time period of the season

01:54to be there with our best performances, with our best results,

01:58also in the crunch time period of the last game day to be there.

02:01So we want to get rid of this old brand.

02:04Anyhow, Leeds is falling apart when it comes down.
