00:00Leeds United head coach Daniel Farker has made very clear just how important this summer will be for Leeds United in terms of getting their recruitment right for their new season in the Premier League and adding to the squad depth and quality to make sure that Leeds are competitive and to make sure that they have the best chance of surviving.
00:19An important summer where we make sure that we are ready for the next big step. So we spoke about how difficult it was to steady the ship here and to stabilise also this club again and to rebuild a new group and to rebuild a new spirit and togetherness and unity within the whole club because there was a big gap between our supporters and the playing squad two years ago.
00:45It was important to rebuild this relationship again because this club, not just yet, but not just in the last few months, but also in the last decades was always very successful once this club was united and we knew this and we have worked a lot on this.
01:03It was also important to work on our clear identity for the values that we want to stand and also the way we want to play.
01:11And Bradford City goalkeeper Sam Walker has spoken about being recognised at the club's annual awards night in which he picked up several accolades.
01:21Walker was part of a tough defence at Bradford and helped them secure promotion back to League One following several years in League Two.
01:29But now under Graham Alexander they are back in the third tier.
01:32It's always nice to get that recognition at the end of the season. It makes all the sort of hours of hard work and time on the pitch, time off the pitch, doing the right things to try and sort of stay consistent and perform regularly for the team.
01:47So yeah, really pleased and really proud.
01:48Two of the awards are from the fans as well, so it must be nice to see, you know, strikers get all applauded all the time, but to see a goalkeeper get that recognition must be good.
01:55Yeah, it's nice. I'm quite happy for the strikers to get that recognition, to be honest, because if they are, then it means we're scoring goals as a team and that's been a large part of why we've been so successful.
02:05But yeah, my job and part of our defensive unit's job is to be there when we're needed and we've done that a lot this season.
