Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) – A minor dispute over mango plucking in Jawahi Narendra village escalated into violence, as village head Bablu Dewan allegedly led an armed assault. The incident took place in the Taryasujan police station area.
The clash began when Bablu Dewan’s men entered Ramnaresh Singh’s orchard to pluck mangoes, triggering a confrontation. When Ramnaresh and his family objected, the Pradhan and his supporters allegedly attacked them with sticks and later chased villagers while firing shots.
A video of the incident, now viral on social media, shows Bablu Dewan running with a gun in hand. Two people were seriously injured in the attack. Victims claim the police took action against them instead of arresting the accused, who remain at large.
