00:00On Thursday early morning, Category 4 Hurricane Eric touched ground on the country's southwest coast

00:08a few minutes after it gained strength on the Pacific Ocean.

00:12The event threatens to unleash destructive winds and flashlights on the region in the coming hours.

00:18As it was reported by meteorologists right before touching Mexican land,

00:22Hurricane Eric had maximum sustained winds of 230 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 275 kilometers per hour

00:32right in front of the coast of the south-southwest of the country, places where it impacted.

00:41Precisely in this context, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, announced that all activities were suspended

00:46until further notice after Hurricane Eric arrived on the coast of Guerrero and Oaxaca this Thursday.
