00:00Nasa 50 barko ng Chinese Maritime Militia ang namataan sa Ruzul Reef sa West Philippine Sea.

00:07Patulitong minabantayan ang Philippine Coast Guard na nagpadala ng dalawang barko.

00:17Magkakatikit at nakaangkurahe lamang ang mga Chinese Maritime Militia Vessel

00:21na namataan sa Ruzul o Iroquois Reef sa West Philippine Sea.

00:25Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, noon pang June 17 na monitor ang pagkukumpulan ng nasa 50 Chinese Maritime Militia Vessels.

00:34Kaya naman idineploy ang BRP Cape San Agustin at BRP Cape Engano

00:38habang nagpalipad din ang isang eroplano para bantayan ang aktividad ng mga ito.

00:44Sa pamagitan ng radio challenge, iginit ng PCG ang iligal na pananatili ng mga barko ng China sa Ruzul Reef

00:51na may distansyang 130 nautical miles mula sa Palawan.

00:55Pasok sa exclusive economic zone ng Pilipinas.

00:59Walang tugon sa radyo ang mga Chinese Maritime Militia Vessel

01:02at patuloy ang pananatili sa lugar.

01:05Despite of them not responding sa radio challenge natin na ito,

01:10ang Philippine Coast Guard Vessels remain to be in the area.

01:13At para siguraduhin that the moment we see presence of Chinese personnel,

01:20we can immediately communicate with them and tell them to leave immediately.

01:25Bukod sa iligal na pangaangkin sa West Philippine Sea at paninindak sa mga mayangis ng Pilipino,

01:31sinabi ng PCG na posibleng bahagi rin ng intelligence and surveillance

01:35ang pag-deploy sa mga militia vessels ng China.

01:38Siguro they are monitoring what are the activities of the Coast Guard

01:43and even the Armed Forces Philippines in these areas.

01:47So there are diverse reasons that we can speculate what's the real intent.

01:52But one thing is clear here,

01:54the presence of all this Chinese Maritime Militia

01:57is actually a violation of UNCLOS.

02:00It violates our own sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea.

02:03Hindi ito ang unang beses na nagkaroon ng kumpulan

02:06ng mga Chinese Maritime Militia Vessel sa Rosul Reef noong 2023.

02:14ang malawakang pinsala sa marine environment

02:17sa mga bahagi ng karagatan na madalas may mga militia vessel,

02:21kabilang na ang Rosul Reef at Escoda Shoal.

02:24Kaya naman pinangangambahan ngayon

02:26ang magiging epekto sa pagkukumpulang muli

02:29ng mga naturang barko ng China.

02:31Since hindi naman talaga designated na anchorage area to,

02:35there's a possibility na yung mga coral reef na nandyan

02:38ay binabagsakan nila ng mga corals.

02:42Secondly, kung ganitong karaming barko

02:45ay meron talagang crew sa loob nila,

02:48you can just imagine how can it pollute the waters in Rosul Reef.

02:53Patuloy ang gagawing documentation ng PCG

02:56sa aktibidad ng mga barko ng China

02:58kung saan sinusumite ang mga ulat

03:03para sa magiging hakbang ng pamahalaan.
