00:25became and then that's what not everybody believes that but i i also believe that if devers just

00:30tried it went to dh tried first base i tried was a good team player they wouldn't have dumped this

00:34contract no but he was so it gave them the excuse to turn around and dump the contract i think both

00:40those things can be true but what initiated it was devers acting like an a-hole there were a lot of

00:45comments last night including the one we just played that i feel like both kind of got pretty

00:51close to basically saying we think devers is going to destroy the young players on the team oh yeah

00:58we think devers is such a disaster in there and it's going to lead to bad habits it's going to lead

01:03to just guys kind of finger pointing and it's just going to be he's going to ruin their careers now

01:17handle someone like devers in their clubhouse that's a bad sign for them like that's honestly

01:47but but like specifically the young guys coming up that that bothers me less i think brezzo is also

01:53mad that you know he can't put out the best lineup possible because devers is stubborn and he's only

02:00he's clogging up d8 no i think that that to me is a way bigger factor yeah yeah devers clogging it up

02:05so that you can't get everybody on the field versus how he's going to impact the maturity of the young

02:09kids do you now think in hindsight one of the reasons why meyer and anthony weren't up sooner was

02:16because they thought devers would be such a bad influence uh maybe yeah
