G7 Summit: Trump addresses Iran, Russia, and shows off a signed UK-US trade deal

US President Donald Trump tells reporters he would consider traveling to the Middle East to help broker a nuclear deal with Iran, but added that for now "we're doing pretty well, we're talking."

Speaking alongside his British counterpart at the G7 Summit in Canada, the US leader also addresses the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and proudly presents the finalised UK-US trade deal the two countries virtually shook on last month.

00:00So we have our trade agreement with the European Union, and it's a fair deal for both.
00:07It's going to produce a lot of jobs, a lot of income, and we have many, many other ones coming.
00:14But you see, the level of enthusiasm is very good.
00:17But the relationship that we have is fantastic.
00:20So I just want to congratulate you.
00:22But Donald, thank you very much.
00:24This now implements on car tariffs and aerospace our really important agreement.
00:31And so this is a very good day for both of our countries, a real sign of strength.
00:35So thank you again, Donald.
00:36A really important day for both of us.
00:39Great people.
00:40Would you consider traveling to the Mideast as part of any talk, if it would help broker a deal in Iran?
00:45Yeah, but I think we're doing pretty well.
00:46We're talking.
00:47You don't think you'll need to?
00:48We have everything called a telephone, so we're talking.
00:52It's always better to talk in person.
00:53Mr. President, do you agree soon that you're being supposed to apply more sanctions on Russia?
00:59Do the U.S. have supported that?
01:00Well, Europe is saying that, but they haven't done it yet.
01:04Let's see them do it first.
01:05You said earlier that you could sanction Russia.
01:08Why wait?
01:09Why wait to sanction Russia?
01:10Because I'm waiting to see whether or not I deal to say.
01:14There's quite a few British voters that seem worried to side more with the Russians over the Ukraine war.
01:20Can you reassure this?
01:21No, I don't.
01:21No, I just, you know what I said, I don't, saving lives.
01:24I only care about saving lives.
01:26We have nothing to do with it except that Biden stupidly let us get into that mess.
01:58You
