Israelis take Trump tirade in stride, give thanks  Israelis responded calmly on Tuesday, June 24, to US President Donald Trump's criticisms and accusations their country had violated a truce he brokered with Iran, expressing gratitude for his mediation and relief at the conclusion of the 12-day war.  Earlier in the day Trump admonished Israel with an obscenity in an extraordinary outburst at an ally whose air war he had joined two days before by dropping massive bunker-buster bombs on Iran's underground nuclear sites.  "Honestly, I don't care that much about what Trump said about Israel. At the end of the day, I think he's the one that truly helped to bring an end to this war and that's what's important to me,” said Daniel Kopylkov, a 27-year-old cook. 00:00I don't know what actually what are the facts in terms of who violated the ceasefire first but it

00:21makes sense that both sides violated it so in this sense Trump's attack has a has a base to

00:29it it's not simply only allegations but yeah give again given that there is so

00:36much disinformation and lack of transparency as to what actually is the

00:40agreement and how it's going to be enforced then we can only just follow the

00:47the news and hope that this fire will will continue it's just a demonstration

00:52that Israel even though it claims to be it's a you know in charge of its own

00:59faith and future is still dependent on American support completely in terms of

01:04both political and financial and of course ammunition so this was just a

01:09very small but significant demonstration of how Israel relies on international

01:17legitimacy and especially American one honestly after what has happened for the

01:21past like a week and a half I'm just happy that it's all gonna end hopefully

01:26well we're still not sure 100% but I'm just happy that I can go back to my place

01:31because I was spending nights in a different place we had no bomb shelter

01:36and honestly I don't care that much about what Trump said about Israel at the end of

01:42the day I think he's the one that truly helped to you know bring an end to this

01:49war and that's what's important to me

01:51that's that's typical Trump but again he didn't do anything dramatic about it just

01:58like he he didn't fire back you know on Iran he doesn't want to get into a war now

02:10that I believe he really does not want to get into war on the contrary so it's like a

02:17parent scolding the child he's scolding us but it's not anything dramatically

02:24serious I think I think I'm not a politician you know I'm just feeling it
