Manipur’s Erwin Khundrakpam aces NEET-UG 2025, calls for peace in state

Erwin Khundrakpam of Manipur has secured the state topper rank in NEET-UG 2025 with All India Rank 3706 (99.83 percentile). This was Erwin’s third attempt at NEET-UG. He first appeared in 2023 and 2024 but did not clear the exam. His hard work and perseverance paid off in 2025, when the results were announced and he became the state topper.He also addressed the ongoing conflict in Manipur, stating that while this year was more peaceful, last year’s unrest forced him to travel to Delhi to appear for the exam. Erwin appealed for peace in the state for the future of all students. His parents expressed happiness at their son’s success and wished him a bright future as a doctor.
