00:00Good morning!
00:01So here it is, spring has begun.
00:03I guess you have the same delusion as me, we love each other everywhere,
00:07but there's more to it than that.
00:08And yes!
00:09There is one subject that I find quite interesting to deal with,
00:12because we've never done it on this channel,
00:13It is the pricking out and the transplanting.
00:15Yes, they are two slightly different things,
00:17but hey, overall, it's still the same principle.
00:20We will first look at, well, why replant or transplant.
00:23Then we will see when to do it,
00:24preparing the ground or pots,
00:27as well as small plans,
00:28some small transplanting and replanting techniques.
00:31And at the end of the video, we will see 5 mistakes to avoid.
00:33Because it's possible to do it, right?
00:35I made some, so I'm sharing them with you.
00:37I'm also going to take this opportunity to introduce you to a nice little product, you'll see,
00:40because I think it fits perfectly with the theme of this video.
00:43And then you'll see, it can be a practical solution.
00:45if ever your seedlings are... not great.
00:47Or downright dead, eh.
00:48Because it happens.
00:49I won't tell you any more.
00:50Here we go !
00:55Well, yes, it's just a good question.
00:58It seems logical, but do we really know how to ask the question at least once?
01:02So, we'll see that together.
01:03So why replant or transplant?
01:05Generally, when you do your sowing,
01:06we will put them in very small containers or terrines.
01:09You saw it here, I use honeycomb sheets.
01:11And inside the cells, there will be enough potting soil
01:14so that the seed begins to germinate and take its first roots.
01:17But very quickly, it will become too small.
01:19And the plant won't grow very well.
01:21So the first reason, well, is to be able to give the roots enough space.
01:24so that the plant develops well.
01:26No more soil or earth, no more root system.
01:28And the plant grows by itself.
01:30The second reason, if ever for example, you have sown in small trays
01:34or in seed trays, the plants will not develop well.
01:37If we transplant them or if we transplant them directly into the vegetable garden,
01:40Well, it will simply avoid competition.
01:43Because yes, there are quite a few plants that don't necessarily like growing next to others.
01:47Eh ?
01:48I'll steal your nutrients.
01:49No, they're mine.
01:50No, they're mine.
01:50Anyway, you know what I'm talking about.
01:51And the third reason, well, it's simply to strengthen your plants.
01:55By transplanting them into a larger container,
01:57or transplant them directly into the ground,
01:59This will promote root development.
02:01Which means your plant will be much more resistant.
02:03If it does not develop its root system sufficiently,
02:06Well, it's not terrible.
02:07Yes indeed!
02:07If I give you an example, look.
02:09Here I sowed some marigolds.
02:10Remember, we did it together in the video about flowers to sow in March.
02:14Well, we put all the seeds in the same tray.
02:16It grows very quickly.
02:18And all of this will quickly become competitive.
02:19Let's not kid ourselves.
02:20So, for the moment, it's a little too early to go and transplant them.
02:23But as soon as they have produced their first two or even four true leaves,
02:26Well, I'll put them in individual cups.
02:28This way, the root system of these little babies will develop well.
02:31Besides, we're going to move on to the second chapter.
02:33When to prick or transplant?
02:35So, the first sign to know if it is time to go and replant or transplant them,
02:39It will necessarily be the size of the plants.
02:40You will have to wait until your little plants have at least two, or even four, true leaves.
02:44So, not the small cotyles, therefore,
02:45which are the two very small leaves that will appear at the start of your seedlings.
02:49No, no, we're talking about the real leaves.
02:50I advise you to wait for four real leaves.
02:52Your plant will be stronger.
02:53In the example of salads,
02:55we will go directly to transplant them into the vegetable garden.
02:57So, it's better to wait until they have four real leaves.
02:59For marigolds, two leaves are enough,
03:01because we're going to put them in buckets,
03:02therefore protected from pests.
03:03There, it can do it.
03:04But there you go.
03:04Already, this is the first indication to know when to replant.
03:07Second indication, the density of your seedlings.
03:09So this is only in the case of sowing in a tray.
03:11When you see that the seedlings are starting to get in each other's way,
03:14It might be time to think about transplanting.
03:16Always for the same principle,
03:17give them more space and more soil
03:19to develop their root system.
03:21So, remember to keep an eye on that anyway.
03:22But be careful, don't do it too soon.
03:24Repotting or transplanting remains stressful for the plant.
03:28So, she still has to be big enough to do it.
03:30But if you see that it's getting in the way and pushing on each other,
03:33don't wait too long though.
03:35If I give you an example,
03:36Here I sowed arnica in a tray.
03:38Really, the seeds, she stole.
03:39Well, we see, once it has germinated,
03:41It's already starting to get a little awkward.
03:43In this case, the plants are much too small to be transplanted.
03:47I'll wait a bit for it to develop.
03:48And when they are strong enough,
03:50Well, I'll put them in individual cups.
03:52so that the plant develops well
03:53before going to transplant them into my vegetable garden.
03:55The third thing that can tell you
03:57that it is high time to go and replant or transplant your plants,
03:59Well, these are the roots.
04:01If you have sown seeds in trays or even in pots
04:03and you see that the roots are starting to come out of the pot,
04:05Well, now it's high time to put them somewhere else.
04:09The message is clear.
04:10I need space!
04:11Get me out of here!
04:12Anyway, you get it.
04:13Obviously, if the roots start to overflow,
04:15It's just that there's not enough space.
04:16Well yes, that makes sense.
04:18Look, I'll show you a little example.
04:20You see, I always make my peas in honeycomb trays.
04:22because it is very practical.
04:24Especially after, to go and replant them,
04:25I just have to walk around with the plate.
04:27And there you have it, it's done.
04:27On the other hand, the pea will develop roots very quickly.
04:30You see, there I have my first pea seedling.
04:31which has grown well.
04:33Well, if I lift one of the small planes,
04:35we can immediately see that the roots are settling into the bottom
04:37and start to spin.
04:38This is called chignoning.
04:39Well, there, the message is clear.
04:42I don't have enough space, but me, somewhere else.
04:44So, from time to time, don't hesitate to lift your plates
04:47to see if the roots are coming out or not.
04:49Or else, you can also do as I do here.
04:51That is to say that from time to time, I come to remove a clod
04:53to check the progress of the roots.
04:55You see, on the spinach,
04:56even if they look like they are ready to transplant,
04:58Well, we see that the roots don't reach the edge.
05:00So, it's okay.
05:00I can still afford to leave them where they are.
05:02So, when your little plants are ready to be pricked out or transplanted,
05:04There is still one important factor to take into account.
05:07The weather.
05:08Yeah, you still have to be careful about that.
05:10It's better to avoid doing this.
05:12when the weather is super nice and super hot.
05:14Transplanting or replanting,
05:15It's going to be a little stressful for your plants.
05:17So, already, it's not very cool for them.
05:18So, if you add a mega thermal shock to them,
05:21Well, they're not going to like it too much.
05:23So, when we resume, it might stagnate a little.
05:25and then leave again.
05:26Well, they won't burn either, unless you let them dry in direct sunlight.
05:29But hey, you better take care of your little plants,
05:31either at the end of the day,
05:32or you do like here and wait for the weather to be a little gloomy and gray.
05:36This way you avoid thermal shock.
05:38Today, the weather at my place is not very nice.
05:40The weather is gray and quite cool.
05:42And my peas are ready to be transplanted.
05:44Well, I'll show you later.
05:46how to transplant them into the vegetable garden.
05:48But before that, we will see the third point,
05:50preparing the soil and small plants.
05:52Oh yes, because you still have to prepare them a minimum.
05:55before pricking out or transplanting them.
05:57So the first point, and this one is very important,
05:59if you have ever grown your seedlings indoors,
06:02warm, sheltered in your house for example.
06:03Well, we'll have to acclimatize them before putting them outside.
06:07If you take them straight from a super hot 20 degree universe
06:10outside, where it can drop to 10, 8, 6 degrees at night,
06:14Well, they're not going to like it at all.
06:15Ah, I guarantee you that...
06:16What you can do is, for example, take them out
06:19a little bit at the beginning, during the day,
06:21and then gradually, like that,
06:23come and acclimatize them to the weather outside your home.
06:26And when transplanting or planting,
06:28Well, they will already be used to the world around them.
06:31But there's more to it than just plans.
06:33Oh well no, otherwise it would be too easy.
06:35You also have to take care of the land a little.
06:36It's always nice when the room is tidy
06:39before landing in an Airbnb, right?
06:41Well, it's the same here.
06:42So if it hasn't rained for a while where you live,
06:44You will need to come and water at least 24 hours in advance.
06:47You can also take the opportunity to add a little compost to the soil.
06:50This will help the roots to take root.
06:52And, casually, also think about where you're going to put your little plans.
06:55Because depending on certain vegetables,
06:56they will need more or less space.
06:58So it's always interesting to think about it in advance, like that.
07:00When the time comes and you are ready to plant them in your vegetable garden,
07:04Well, you've already thought about where you're going to put them.
07:06Because some shots will require more light than others, for example.
07:09In short, basically, you need well-drained, well-aerated and rich soil.
07:14Hence the interest in adding a little compost.
07:15So, your plans, when they come out of their little box,
07:18either the small oats or the small pots in which you put them,
07:21well they will have an environment favorable to their development.
07:24Quite simply.
07:24Okay, now that you have all the keys in hand to properly prepare your little plans,
07:27we will focus on the technical side.
07:29How to prick out or transplant.
07:32So the gentle little method.
07:34You take your little seedlings and water them before doing anything.
07:36This will just prevent the earth from crumbling.
07:39Afterwards, there are two schools.
07:41Either you can gently remove your plants by holding them by the leaves and not by the stem.
07:45The stem is relatively fragile.
07:47But honestly, I'm not necessarily a fan of this technique.
07:51You still risk damaging your plants, or even breaking the roots.
07:54So for me, the best, and if the root system allows it,
07:57you take a small spoon or your finger,
08:00or whatever comes to mind,
08:02but something that will allow you to remove the whole little fashion.
08:04This way you reduce stress on the plant as much as possible.
08:07This is where it is extremely advantageous to sow seeds in cell trays,
08:11because you just have to push with your finger,
08:13and there it is.
08:14Once you have your little plan out,
08:16Well, we're going to prepare the hole.
08:17Well, that's not very complicated,
08:19but there is still one small thing to note.
08:20Your hole must be deep enough so as not to bend the roots.
08:23If the roots are bent,
08:24when you come to pack down the compost,
08:26it might break.
08:27And so you will damage and weaken your plans.
08:29So plan for that.
08:30Better too big than not big enough.
08:32Then you come and place your little plan inside this famous hole,
08:34and we pack it with our fingers, but on the sides, not on top.
08:37By favoring the sides,
08:39This will help the soil stick well to the roots.
08:41What is important,
08:42You don't want your little roots to end up in the air.
08:44If you do it from above,
08:45Well, underneath, the small roots can end up in a kind of air pocket.
08:49And they will dry out.
08:49And that's not cool.
08:50Don't want that for our plans.
08:51So remember to pack it down on the sides.
08:53If necessary, add a little bit of potting soil at the end.
08:55And the last step, probably the most important,
08:58don't forget to water.
09:00This will prevent water stress,
09:02and in addition, if ever the soil is not well stuck against the roots,
09:05watering it will put it in contact.
09:08And to tell the truth, even if your soil or potting soil is sufficiently moist,
09:11do it anyway.
09:13This is important.
09:14A little watering once you have finished your planting,
09:16and then it's over, we don't talk about it anymore.
09:18Your little plan will be in the best conditions to develop well.
09:20By the way, a little tip for tomatoes.
09:22Torelle, you can allow yourself to push the stem a little into the soil,
09:25to encourage the appearance of new roots.
09:27This peculiarity.
09:28So, there are 5 mistakes to avoid when transplanting your seedlings,
09:31But I'll tell you about that later.
09:33First, I'd like to show you how I do it here,
09:36to transplant my peas into the ground.
09:37I have a slightly unusual technique,
09:39and in my opinion, it might interest you.
09:42So, shall we go?
09:43So, the peas, you see, me, last year,
09:45I had grown them here, on this large structure,
09:48and also, on the small structure that is right there.
09:52I'll put them back in exactly the same place,
09:53for the simple reason that I didn't grow anything else on it last year.
09:57I only made my peas,
09:59and then, for the rest of the year, the soil rested.
10:01So, I didn't make any amendments, I didn't put any compost there, for example.
10:04The only thing I did, obviously, was remove all the buttercup.
10:07So, I raked the earth a little,
10:10and I tore it off by hand, you see, on a strip of 20 cm, approximately.
10:13I think that will be enough.
10:14Now, however, we will have to control their growth.
10:16Yesterday it rained all day, so the ground is moist enough now, it's perfect.
10:20And as we saw earlier, we are in gray weather,
10:23So, well, it's perfect, eh, to go and put the peas in the ground.
10:26You see, the big advantage of making seed trays,
10:30at least, to sow these peas in trays,
10:31It's just that, well, you transport them very easily.
10:34So here I have two different varieties.
10:35I have the classic, climbing peas.
10:38I don't know the basic variety anymore,
10:39These are peas that I have been growing for 5 years now.
10:41Ah, my classic green peas.
10:43And on the other side, the nasturtium peas.
10:45I reproduced the seeds this year, so now we're going to start production.
10:48So, I'm going to do one side with one, one side with the other.
10:50And later we will launch a big production here,
10:53for everything that is reserved, preserved, etc.
10:55You see, it's very simple.
10:56So, I'm going to make a kind of trench, like this,
10:59all along, slightly sloping towards the fence.
11:01You see, when I come to put them in place,
11:03This will allow them to get hooked on it as quickly as possible.
11:05Because peas are very sensitive to the wind.
11:07So it's better to get it stuck in the wire mesh as soon as possible.
11:10I take the opportunity to remove the small roots that remain, of course.
11:13There you go, it's slightly sloping there.
11:15Well, well, now there's nothing left to do.
11:17Hop, a little finger in there.
11:19It gives the little nuts, there, it was really high time to go and put them in the ground.
11:22And you see, I come and lean them, like that.
11:24You have to be careful not to bury too much.
11:25I don't really space them out much.
11:28It even happened to me last year that I actually stuck them on.
11:30I know it will grow.
11:31But you see, the point of putting them on a slope, like that,
11:33They are immediately in the fence.
11:34There, it will come to grips in the coming days.
11:36The interest of putting them on a slope, but also of keeping them long enough in the plates
11:40so that they are of sufficient size.
11:42If I had made them smaller, you see,
11:44Well, they wouldn't be in the fence right away.
11:45It's really quick to make, though.
11:49How practical is this technique?
11:50So, yes, I know, this technique to make the little weight grow,
11:54It takes longer and requires more work.
11:56But, compared to direct sowing in open ground,
11:58there, all my little weights will grow.
12:00I'm not going to have any failures in my sowing
12:02and I'm going to have almost no damage.
12:03To tell you, last year I experienced it.
12:05A seedbed made from honeycomb trays and a plantation, as I show you here.
12:08And direct sowing in the ground.
12:10Well, we saw it together, in the semi-open ground, there were holes.
12:13So, now, I did my little weights like this.
12:15It's a semi that you do at the start of the season,
12:16There isn't much in the way of work.
12:18So, it's okay, it's cool, you can do it in peace.
12:20And what's more, it's quite nice because it immediately gives you plants in the greenhouse.
12:24So why deprive yourself?
12:26Once they're all hiking like that,
12:28I will come and fill it with earth
12:29taking care that it comes into contact with the roots.
12:32A good watering on that.
12:34So.
12:35And then it's gone.
12:36So, above all, don't worry,
12:37planting the peas like that at an angle,
12:40It's not disturbing at all.
12:41The pea is a plant which, naturally,
12:43will straighten up and grow straight.
12:45So there, they are very good.
12:46You will see that in about two weeks,
12:48they will have doubled in size
12:49and they will grow straight up into the wire mesh.
12:51Okay, I'm going to attack the second row.
12:53I'll do this quickly off-camera.
12:55Anyway, we have seen the main stages.
12:56On the other hand, now,
12:57we're going to talk about a little thing
12:58that I received this year
12:59and that I am testing for the first time.
13:01And it sounds pretty interesting to me.
13:02You'll see.
13:03The mini-clods.
13:04Isn't that cute?
13:06So, what are mini-clods?
13:07Well, these are very small plans.
13:08in a very small mound.
13:10Yeah, we would have guessed that, Nico.
13:12In short, these come from Magellan Bio.
13:14Yes, I still know Magellan Bio,
13:16but hey, I warned you.
13:17I'm working with them this season.
13:19It's been several years
13:20that I see them passing on the networks, etc.
13:22I'm never really interested in it.
13:23because I like to start from the seed.
13:25But after all,
13:26it's a solution like any other
13:27to make a vegetable garden.
13:28There are only some who don't even have to sow seeds.
13:29or who don't necessarily have the time.
13:31Well yes, we have to think of everyone.
13:33In short, this year,
13:34They offered to test them for us.
13:35That's it, because it's something
13:36that I have never tried either.
13:38So, well, why not?
13:39After all, we're not going to say no.
13:41At least it will allow us to see what it looks like.
13:43and whether it is an effective solution or not.
13:45I wanted to present this to you in this video.
13:46because the mini-clods, you'll see,
13:48They are very small when you receive them
13:50and they must be replanted immediately.
13:51Replant?
13:52Isn't that today's theme?
13:53Well, there you go.
13:54I received these 4 days ago.
13:55and when I received them,
13:57I checked them immediately
13:58because I was a little bit skeptical
13:59on transport.
14:01They are still living beings.
14:02So it has to be well packaged
14:04and then don't let it stay too long
14:06without watering.
14:06So I opened them right away
14:08and I controlled that.
14:09Well, frankly,
14:09I was rather surprised by the packaging.
14:11It's really very well done.
14:12The plans are well protected.
14:13They are bound to be a little flabbergasted.
14:15because they were in a box without light
14:17for a few days.
14:18Delivery is fast,
14:19don't worry.
14:19Anyway, I took them all off.
14:21and something to know,
14:22these mini-words,
14:23It's really microscopically small.
14:25So, you have to replant them right away.
14:27Either in a bucket,
14:28or even directly into the honeycomb plates.
14:31That's okay too.
14:31And you can also put them in terrines
14:33so that they can recover a little from their trip.
14:35So.
14:35You should know that it takes approximately
14:372-3 days
14:38to recover from its long journey in cardboard.
14:40But frankly,
14:41past that time,
14:42there they have 3-4 days,
14:43Well, look,
14:44They are perfect.
14:45I asked them to make 2 deliveries for me.
14:47The first one with mainly flowers
14:49and then some varieties
14:50that I want to test here.
14:51But also kohlrabi
14:52because I had more seeds this year
14:53so I took a little bit of it
14:55to put some in my soup.
14:56I also received
14:57some grafted eggplants.
14:59Yeah.
14:59Because yes,
15:00the mini-words,
15:00There are also grafted ones.
15:02And to tell the truth,
15:03well the grafted one,
15:03I've never tried that here.
15:05So we're going to have fun this season
15:06to make the comparison.
15:07Wait,
15:08blow your face there!
15:08Stay with us!
15:09So I was saying,
15:10this season,
15:10we're going to have fun making a little comparison
15:12with a variety of ungrafted tomatoes
15:14and the same variety grafted.
15:16To see a little of the difference.
15:17See if it's really worth it.
15:19After all.
15:19Brief,
15:20so don't worry,
15:21I don't have all the plans here yet.
15:23But you will see,
15:23we will have to talk about it again
15:24a little later.
15:26So quickly,
15:26I'm not going to give you the introduction again
15:27mini-words,
15:28don't worry.
15:28But we're definitely going to have fun.
15:30to compare a little
15:31how it grows
15:31compared to a seedling,
15:32etc.
15:33That,
15:33It takes time.
15:34We're not going to do it right away.
15:36Brief,
15:36I'll show them to you!
15:37So here it is,
15:38here you have a first part
15:40plans I received.
15:42All this,
15:42It happened in mini-words.
15:43So there are lots of things.
15:44I put this in a large tray
15:46like that
15:46because it was necessary immediately
15:48that I transplant them somewhere
15:50and I didn't have time
15:50to put them in individual skin.
15:52But you see,
15:52I have already started
15:53to transplant tomatoes there.
15:54I'm going for it.
15:55You see,
15:55we see the delimitation
15:56of the mini-words.
15:56So it's very small
15:57when it happens.
15:58It is really necessary
15:59transplant them immediately.
16:00Here,
16:00What do I have?
16:01Vietnamese coriander.
16:02That,
16:02it's crazy
16:02and visibly,
16:03It's perennial.
16:04So this,
16:04We'll probably talk about it later.
16:06Here,
16:06I have my little kohlrabi
16:07as I told you
16:07and then I took too
16:09little red cabbages.
16:09So that,
16:10Of course,
16:10I'm not going to leave them in there.
16:11I'll put them in a bucket
16:12so that they develop well
16:13before going to put them on
16:14in the vegetable garden.
16:15The little basilisk,
16:15it's going to be the same.
16:16And then,
16:16I received lots of flowers.
16:18So there,
16:18On the other hand,
16:19the flowers,
16:19I took the time
16:20to put them in a bucket
16:21because it will do
16:21a root system
16:22quite big
16:23very quickly.
16:24And then,
16:24I also have another thing
16:26very nice.
16:27As I was telling you,
16:28This year,
16:28we test the grafted plants.
16:30So there,
16:30I have 5 grafted eggplant plants.
16:32Besides,
16:32I didn't mark the variety.
16:33I have to go get
16:34a label.
16:34The advantage of these little babies,
16:36casually,
16:36it's that you save yourself
16:37the entire stage of the semi.
16:39And as of today,
16:39we don't necessarily have
16:40time to go through this.
16:41SO,
16:41This is a very good solution
16:42if you want to save yourself
16:43a little time.
16:43In addition,
16:44Frankly,
16:44I find it so cute.
16:45The guy is weird though.
16:46By the way,
16:47What if we put one in a pot?
16:48SO,
16:49for example,
16:49What are we going to take?
16:51A little cabbage?
16:52Okay.
16:52I'll put you there gently.
16:54SO,
16:55cabbages,
16:55Me,
16:55I will put them
16:56in set buckets.
16:57I think it's a good size
16:58to let them grow up peacefully
17:00before going to put them on
17:01in the vegetable garden.
17:01Come on, little baby lover!
17:03I'm going to make a hole,
17:04as we have seen,
17:05deep enough
17:06so that the roots
17:07are not bent.
17:08Good,
17:08generally,
17:09in mini-modes,
17:10it doesn't stick out too much,
17:10but you never know,
17:11you see.
17:11There,
17:13It's better not to bend it too much.
17:14Hop!
17:15And I come to pack
17:15on the sides.
17:17Flawless !
17:17I'm going to add some potting soil.
17:18to make the point.
17:19Be careful not to climb too high,
17:20but that,
17:21we will see it in the errors
17:22after to avoid.
17:22A good watering!
17:24And we have a little cabbage
17:25who will be able to grow
17:26calmly
17:27protected from pests.
17:31I gave you everything you need
17:33as information
17:33in the video description.
17:35Just look down.
17:36However,
17:37pay attention to something,
17:38they have weeks
17:39very specific delivery times.
17:40I gave you the details
17:41just below.
17:42Don't worry.
17:43SO,
17:43if you are interested in ordering some,
17:45well,
17:45find out more
17:45on delivery weeks
17:47to be sure
17:47to receive your little plans on time.
17:49Ah,
17:49then I see you coming
17:49"Uh, Nico,
17:50Don't you have a little promo code?
17:51SO,
17:52only for orders
17:53mini-fashion
17:53and for this 2025 season,
17:55if you enter the promo code
17:57WORD,
17:57M-O-2-T-E,
17:58well,
17:58you will have a small kit
17:59of transplanting offered
18:00which includes
18:01two very practical little tools
18:02and around fifty labels
18:04to be able to note
18:05what you picked up.
18:06That,
18:06it's important,
18:07we've seen it plenty of times already.
18:09In any case,
18:09Me,
18:09I can't wait to try it
18:10all these little fashions
18:11and then above all
18:11to make the comparison
18:12between the grafts
18:13and the non-grafted.
18:14The plans are of quality,
18:15so for now,
18:16I am completely satisfied.
18:17Ah,
18:18then here,
18:18to conclude this video
18:19on transplanting,
18:21what are they
18:22the 5 mistakes
18:22to absolutely avoid?
18:24Well,
18:24the first and most important
18:26of all,
18:27transplant in full sun.
18:28The biggest concern,
18:29it will be thermal shock
18:30that it risks creating
18:31and we,
18:31we don't want to
18:32to see them suffer.
18:33SO,
18:33choose a time
18:34rather gray like today
18:35to prick out or transplant.
18:37The second mistake
18:38which can be fatal
18:38for your plans,
18:39it is not to harden them
18:40before putting them outside.
18:42If you do your sowing
18:42warm inside
18:43and that you pass them
18:44right away
18:45in one go
18:45outside,
18:46there,
18:46for them,
18:47This will be a game changer.
18:48They will meet again
18:49in a universe
18:49which will be colder
18:50and they won't be suitable.
18:51SO,
18:52take your time
18:52to take them out a little bit
18:54before putting them on
18:55really full time outside.
18:56There is another mistake too
18:57which can hurt very very much
18:58to your plans,
18:59it's planting too deep
19:00or not enough.
19:01You know,
19:02plants,
19:02they have what is called
19:03a collar.
19:03Come see.
19:04What we call the collar,
19:05It's here.
19:07Bulk,
19:07the part of the plant
19:08just above the ground.
19:09Imagine,
19:10I'm going to put some potting soil in it
19:10so far.
19:11Oh well,
19:11the plant,
19:12she won't like it at all
19:13and she will die.
19:14SO,
19:14pay close attention to this.
19:19at the time of transplanting
19:21or transplantation,
19:22do not water immediately after.
19:23We saw it together,
19:24It's important to do it.
19:25This will allow
19:26that the earth
19:26comes to stick well to the roots
19:28but above all,
19:29It will reduce the shock.
19:30A transplant
19:31or a transplant,
19:32It remains a shock.
19:33The act of watering them,
19:34well,
19:35It will help them get through it.
19:36So.
19:36And last mistake
19:37that it is easy to do
19:38when you come to implant
19:39little baby in the vegetable garden,
19:40put them too tight.
19:42Yes indeed,
19:42it is imperative to think
19:44to what the plant will give
19:45once an adult.
19:46He's going to need some space
19:47to flourish.
19:48You see,
19:48my little salads here,
19:49I left them
19:50at least 20 cm.
19:51And again,
19:5220 cm,
19:53It's not much.
19:53When they will reach
19:54an adult size,
19:55they will be relatively stuck
19:56but it's okay.
19:57Imagine if I had added
19:58a salad in between.
19:59Well,
19:59they would never have succeeded
20:00to develop well.
20:01SO,
20:01pay attention to that.
20:02If you don't have the info,
20:03find out.
20:04There are some plans
20:05for example
20:05zucchini
20:06who will ask
20:07one square meter
20:08to develop well.
20:09One square meter.
20:10You see,
20:10the radish area behind me,
20:11it's a little bit more
20:12than a square meter.
20:13We will have to
20:14this as a surface
20:15for a zucchini plan.
20:17Ha!
20:17Here is the friend,
20:18I hope this little video
20:19on transplanting
20:20and transplantation
20:21will have served you.
20:21Don't hesitate to tell me.
20:22in comment.
20:23You can also of course
20:24ask all questions
20:25that go through your head.
20:26I will be pleased
20:27to answer you as usual.
20:28Take care of yourself
20:29and your loved ones
20:29and see you next week
20:31for a new video.
20:32Peace!
