00:00The bus involved in the crash near Gerig that killed 15 university students was in sound mechanical condition before the incident.
00:11According to an early technical report released by Puspakom, a post-crash inspection found that the bus's brakes, tires, steering and suspension were all in good condition and met safety standards.
00:25The report said there was no evidence of mechanical system failure that could have caused the crash.
00:32It said it is highly likely that the crash was caused by other factors, such as human error, road conditions or similar external factors.
00:42Yesterday, bus driver Amirul Fath Hilzou Kifli pleaded not guilty to 15 charges of causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
00:52On June 9, the bus, carrying 42 UPSI students, was travelling from Tung Anu to UPSI's main campus in Tanjung Malim Perak when it collided with a car.
