00:00Iranian President Massoud Pezeskian vowed a powerful response to Israel's attacks on the country early Friday. Other world leaders have been calling for de-escalation.

00:12It is obviously a rapidly evolving situation and this was a unilateral action by Israel so I think it is crucial for many allies including the United States to work as we speak to de-escalate.

00:31The head of the UN nuclear watchdog said he was concerned about the safety of nuclear facilities following the strikes by Israel.

00:41I call on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid further escalation. I reiterate that any military action that jeopardizes the safety and security of nuclear facilities risks grave consequences for the people of Iran, the region and beyond.
