The Apple Original Film, Come See Me in the Good Light made its Tribeca Festival debut at the Indeed Theater, Spring Studios in New York City Saturday.
Director, Ryan White; producer, Tig Notaro; and executive producers, Abby Wambach, Glennon Doyle, and Sara Bareilles were all there to celebrate the film.
It tells the poignant and unexpectedly funny love story about poets Andrea Gibson and Megan Falley facing an incurable cancer diagnosis with joy, wit and an unshakable partnership. Through laughter and unwavering love, they transform pain into purpose, and mortality into a moving celebration of resilience.

00:00Hi, I'm Megan Fowley, and you're watching Life Minute TV.
00:04Our film is called Come See Me in the Good Light,
00:07and it's about Megan Fowley and her partner, Andrea Gibson,
00:10who's the Poet Laureate of Colorado,
00:12and their life over the past year
00:13as Andrea's been dealing with stage four ovarian cancer.
00:16So it sounds on face value like a very sad and bleak film,
00:21but it's actually very life-affirming,
00:23extremely funny because of this one, and Andrea,
00:27and I would say pretty joyful when it comes down to it.
00:31There's so much room to find joy, laughter, beauty, dancing, silliness,
00:39even in the hardest moments.
00:41And I've heard that a lot of people end up calling,
00:45after they see the film, calling the people that they love
00:47and expressing their love,
00:49and that, I think, is the best thing to come out of it.
00:51That's exactly what I want to happen.
00:53This film is one of those kind of films that
00:56in the same scene, you can be crying real tears
01:01and then laughing, belly laugh, out loud.
01:05It's the testament of living life,
01:09even in the hardest of times,
01:12with the most beautiful, optimistic, connected way.
01:17You know, to be included in Tribeca
01:20is a testament to not only how good the film is,
01:23but how incredible the people who have made this film are.
01:27It's really a dream team of filmmakers,
01:30and we've become, I don't know,
01:33it's just like this beautiful film
01:35that's brought us all even closer.
01:36I think it's the most beautiful, collaborative,
01:41creative experience we've ever had.

01:44The people involved have become family to us,
01:46and we can't imagine a more important story
01:48to tell right now in this country,
01:51in this moment where it's so important
01:53to stay human and stay tender,
01:54and that's what this film's about.
