Ahmedabad (Gujarat), June 13 (ANI): The air India Airlines confirmed that there is 241 confirmed fatalities hours later the horrific plane crash in Ahmedabad on June 12. The 12-year-old Boeing 787-8 aircraft departed from Ahmedabad at 1338 hrs met with a tragic crash claiming 241 lives. Out of the 242 aboard, 241 were confirmed dead with the sole survivor, a British National being treated in a hospital. Further, Air India said that it has also set up dedicated hotlines to assist family members, including international callers. Earlier the Tata Group had announced compensation of Rs 1 crore each for the families of those who passed away in the crash.
