00:00Bradford City CEO Ryan Sparks has spoken on the emotions created by Bradford City being promoted from League 2 to League 1 on the final day of last season as they won 1-0 at home at Valley Parade against Fleetwood Town.
00:14Very special times, obviously for everybody connected to the club, the City supporters who waited so long for that moment, you could just see the outpouring of happiness, frankly, amongst everybody.
00:30It was a few seconds of my life I'll never be able to replay or replicate and I probably wouldn't want to.
00:37In some respects it was very stressful, but it was wonderful to see and when you're on the pitch after and you're just soaking that up, for all of us at the club and then for everybody connected to it and the players, it was wonderful.
00:55And I think the way that the wider game and the likes of Sky Sports covered that in the days that followed showed the impact that it had across the EFL and I think it showed the strength of the pyramid really.
01:11And Bradford City are remaining active in the transfer market as they confirm the signing of Josh Neufill from Wimbledon.
01:17He becomes the Bantam's fourth summer acquisition into the club and has made clear that he is raring to get going.
01:25Yeah, no, listen, Sam, I'm buzzing to get over the line, but I'm hungry, hungry to get out there, Valley Parade and show the fans what I can do.
01:33And given how they finished last season and I've also got promoted as well, I'm hungry for more this season.
01:41And what's that decision been like for you? Obviously you got promoted to Wimbledon, obviously Bradford got promoted as well.
01:45What was it about this football club that made you want to come here?
01:47Listen, I think it was going to take a special project and special football club to move me away from Wimbledon.
01:53I had a great two years there, but especially this season, given a season I personally had and the season, how it ended at Wembley,
02:01it was going to take something really big to move me away from the football club.
02:04So I'm very grateful to them, but I'm buzzing to get this over the line.
02:08I think it's a cliche thing to say that it's a big club and when you come here, there's 20,000 fans singing.
