00:00Bradford City's fourth summer signing Josh Neufill has claimed in an interview that he is a winner
00:06and he wants to continue on the success that Bradford have created by being promoted from League 2 to League 1.
00:13Yeah, I said to the gaffer when I first spoke to him that it was quite interesting to me that
00:17last season you signed a lot of players from Stockport.
00:20You signed a lot of players this season already this summer that are hungry
00:24because they've already had that promotion.
00:26You've got lads, I think it's well reported that Sarsovich has got about eight promotions
00:30so I'm looking at that and going around, I want to be around winners.
00:34I'm a winner myself.
00:35This is obviously my first promotion that I featured in at Wembley not long ago
00:40but I'm looking at this football club and going we want to go back to back,
00:44we want to be in and around it this season, we don't just want to be here just to make up the numbers
00:48so that's why I want to be a part of this season.
00:50I can imagine that the atmosphere after the last game of the season,
00:53the momentum will be absolutely cooking, the city should be buzzing given how they ended the season
00:59so that's what I wanted to be a part of.
01:01Minister, you had a chat with the gaffer, what's it been like the last couple of days
01:03getting this deal done for yourself?
01:05I think my agent's going to be a bit annoyed because I've been on to him for the last few days
01:09trying to get it over the line.
01:10And Bradford City CEO Ryan Sparks has praised the contribution of manager Graham Alexander
01:16in helping the Bantam secure that all-important promotion back to League One.
01:23Yeah, yeah, I mean obviously came to the club in a tricky spot for us in terms of where we were.
01:28The season hadn't started well, we'd had a pretty disappointing summer if I'm honest
01:33and it was playing out on the pitch, which often happens.
01:39It eventually ends up on the grass.
01:43In that season, there were two or three moments where we looked like we were turning ourselves around
01:47and right at the end we had a great run and it wasn't meant to be, agonising.
01:51And that energy, sorry, the feeling that that left, we'd probably fed off that energy going into the summer
01:57of not wanting to feel that again.
01:59And at the very least we wanted it to be a play-off side that was going to push for the top three.
02:03And we had a budget to do it.
02:07That's, you know, a key difference is that we were given, you know,
02:12you look at the players we're able to bring in the door.
02:14I don't know.
02:14No.
02:14No.
