'He's Your Maryland Man!': Marjorie Taylor Greene Trolls Democrats To Their Faces Over Abrego Garcia

00:00Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I rise in support of H.R. 2056, District of Columbia Federal Immigration

00:09Compliance Act, introduced by my good friend, Mr. Clay Higgins of Louisiana. Bringing in

00:15and harboring illegal aliens is not only a crime under federal law, but it is an absolute

00:22affront to the American people. As a matter of fact, it already says in our law under

00:28Title VIII, Section 1324, that there are criminal penalties for any person who, knowing or in

00:37reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United

00:43States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal,

00:51harbor, or shield from detection, such an alien in any place, including any building,

00:58or any means of transportation. This is already our law, but not here in Washington, D.C.

01:06Prohibiting officials from cooperating with federal immigration agencies and preventing

01:11the release of an individual in custody for the purpose of transferring them to a federal

01:16immigration agency is shielding and concealing illegal aliens, for my Democrat colleagues.

01:26The country cities that protect and defend these criminal illegal aliens, and by definition,

01:31if they've broken our immigration laws, they are criminals, and they must be held accountable.

01:38Because of Democrats' last four years of wide-open borders, we experienced one of the greatest

01:45national security threats in our entire history as a country. Democrats welcomed over 13 million

01:52people from all over the world to come across our border, and then they made the American

01:57people pay for them. This was outrageous. These are people that came into our country, invaded

02:03our country, raped our women and children, murdered our own people, and then the cartels trafficked

02:10fentanyl across from China that killed an average of 300 people a day. They set historic records

02:17by allowing the highest number of border encounters ever recorded in a single day. That was in

02:24a single month. And over 3 million illegals in fiscal year 2023, which was the highest ever recorded in a

02:34single history. Democrats set records. They sure do. They set records by supporting criminals to invade our

02:40country. Instead of defending the American people, the Democrats defend illegal alien criminals and gangs and

02:47cartels at all costs. Take, for example, their favorite MS-13 gang member, Kilmar Arbrego Garcia. This MS-13

02:57gang member, wife-beater, was deported to El Salvador for countless violations of our laws. Democrats labeled him

03:05wrongfully deported Maryland man. Oh, boo-hoo. And they flew to El Salvador to meet with him.

03:11Thank you. And Democrats couldn't wait to go on vacation to go down and pretend like they cared

03:22about this MS-13 gang member like they really actually do. He is now being charged on multiple

03:28felony counts for human trafficking. As a matter of fact, we're thrilled to bring him back and prosecute

03:34them and make you guys continue to own them. Remember, he's your Maryland man. According to the indictment,

03:42his transporting of illegals spans decades and includes children and MS-13 gang members. He is alleged

03:52to have participated in more than 100 trips. Wow. That's impressive. That's the face of the Democrat

03:59Party. This is who they defend. This is who they fight for. Not the American people. Not their districts.

04:09Not the people's hard-earned tax dollars. Not obeying the law. They fight for illegals. And I'm proud

04:16to support this bill. Please, I urge my colleagues to pass HR 2056. And with that, I yield. Thank you.
