02:44Let's go.
02:45Let's go.
02:46Let's go.
02:47I haven't been able to do that.
02:48I mean, the man, really, we could we could have a great you know, we have an Olympics coming
02:50up.
02:51We have to put the right foot forward.
02:53We have to do a job.
02:55We have a lot of people all over the world watching Los Angeles.
02:58We've got the Olympics.
02:59So, we have this guy allowing this to happen.
03:02Let me tell you, when you watch these agitators break up concrete and hand it out to people
03:07as they stood in line to get it, these have to be paid trouble makers.
03:11Mr. President, you're curious to say that the governor and the mayor paid them.
03:15Do you believe that the governor and the mayor paid the action?
03:18President Trump No, I don't say the governor and the mayor.
03:20I said somebody is paying them, I think.
03:22And if they're not, they're just troublemakers.
03:24What can I tell you?
03:25But I believe somebody is paying them.
03:28I mean, when you — I've never seen somebody with a big hammer, so professional.
03:32Now, they took the bricks away from them.
03:34So they say, how do we get in?
03:36The military did.
03:37How do we get in and what do we do?
03:39They said, I have an idea.
03:41Let's break up the concrete.
03:42And that's even better than bricks.
03:44And that's what happened.
03:45You just witnessed an amazing spectacle of flex in our military.
03:49What impressed you the most?
03:50President Trump I think the total love for the military.
03:53I mean, I was with the generals.
03:55They were explaining the different maneuvers.
03:57And the love they have for the Army and the military.
04:00It's beautiful.
04:01They're really great people.
04:02And I've never seen anything quite like that.
04:05I don't think any other president has either.
04:07You know, they really — they really put on a good show.
04:10I asked them, did you do that for Biden?
04:12They said, no.
04:13They didn't do it for Biden.
04:14I wonder why.
04:15The Press.
04:16The Press.
04:17The Press.
04:18The Press.
04:19I don't know.
04:20I mean, I don't know.
04:21I know this.
04:22As long as we have the military there, the protests won't mean anything.
04:26Last night, if we weren't there, they would have burned down the city.
04:29But they did not — a lot of damage other than they broke up a lot of concrete looking for
04:34weapons.
04:35You know, those are weapons.
04:36If that hits somebody in the head, the person is dead.
04:39You know that, right?
04:40The Press.
04:41Are you planning —
04:42The Press.
04:43The Press.
04:44The Press.
04:45The Press.
04:46The Press.
04:47They're not about to tell you that.
04:48They might as well turn around.
04:49They're wasting their time.
04:51Some of them will end up in jail for a long period of time.
04:54They used weapons.
04:56That concrete is a weapon, a dangerous weapon — worse than a brick, heavier than a brick.
05:02And they were dropping it off bridges and throwing it at soldiers and police.
05:06They're not doing that.
05:07You know, I went — in my first term, I waited for governors to call in the military, and they
05:13military, and they didn't want to do it.
05:15And I watched Minneapolis and other places burn for a long time.
05:19And I said, when are you going to call?
05:21When are you going to call?
05:22And I said, if I ever do this again, if they're not responsive at the beginning, not at the
05:27end.
05:28You know, I called in the military in Minneapolis, but it was seven days.
05:31I waited for this guy, the same guy that ran for vice president, who's a very dumb person.
05:36He's a very dumb — he's a low IQ individual, like many Democrats are.
05:41But I waited for him to call him in.
05:44I kept waiting.
05:45I'd call him every day and say, when are you calling him?
05:48And finally, I called him, because I'm not going to wait — they were destroying the
05:51city.
05:52The whole city was burning down.
05:54Horrible.
05:55Okay.
05:56The Press has set a hearing for Thursday, from Gavin Newsom's blog.
05:59Do you think your administration will be successful Thursday for the hearing?
06:04Well, even Senator Fetterman said very strongly that this is horrible, what they're doing,
06:09and that the Democrats are making a big mistake by not talking about it.
06:13And I agree with that.
06:14I think this is in a league with, and maybe even worse in a true sense, what they're doing
06:20is now worse than men playing in women's sports.
06:23I think that's a ridiculous thing.
06:25Open borders.
06:26You take a look at open borders.
06:28Open borders is what caused it.
06:30Many of these people, many of them — not all of them, I guess — but many of them
06:35came through the Joe Biden stupid open borders.
06:39Really sad to watch.
06:41It's very sad to watch this being our country.
06:44Now, with our National Guard and our, you know, fairly low number of Marines, they had no chance.
06:51And if you look, they were a little bit tougher than the police.
06:54Did you notice that?
06:55The police are trained not to do it.
06:57You know, they're really trained.
06:58They're under tremendous political constraints.
07:01They're great police.
07:02I know the police in L.A.
07:03I know the force.
07:04They're very good.
07:05But they're not allowed to do their thing.
07:07They're just not allowed.
07:08They're restricted by radical left politicians who are pretty shameful.
07:14The Pressure, what rules of engagement do you want for the military?
07:19What limitations on —
07:20The President's very simple rule of engagement.
07:22If they're dangerous, if they're throwing concrete or bricks, if they're spitting in the face of the police or whoever's in front of them, if they're punching people,
07:33if they're doing all of the things that you see done for the last three nights, that, I would say, is engagement.
07:39We need to keep our cities straight — I want to save Los Angeles.
07:44And Newsom is totally incompetent.
07:46He's not going to do it.
07:47Look at the fires he had.
07:48He had fires where half this idiot seemed burned down.
07:51What was it, 25,000 houses, all because he wouldn't take water.
07:55I released the water from the Pacific Northwest, and it came down millions of gallons a day.
08:03And it's right there right now.
08:05They'd like to send it back.
08:07There's something wrong with these people.
08:09All I want in terms of engagement, I just want to see peace.
08:14If there's peace, we get out.
08:15If there's even a chance of no peace, we stay there until there's peace.
08:19And a lot of people are being arrested.
08:21The rioters, or whatever you want to call them, they better know.
08:25A lot of people are being arrested.
08:26They're going to be in jail for a long time.
08:27Thank you very much.
