The solution always for ourselves and this was the tarbiyah and the way that Mawlana Shaykh

raised us, that address yourself, address your bad character, address issues that are related

to yourself and if anybody takes benefit alhamdulillah if not at least you should be benefiting

from addressing yourself.

Alhamdulillah they remind us after this holy day that our journey to Allah is da'een,

is an eternal journey.

The importance of the circle signifies that every beginning you go all the way around

the circle has an ending but that ending is a new beginning because of the eternity of

the journey that keep going around and around and around until we can reach these realities

in which Allah wants to dress us, which Prophet ﷺ wants to dress us and what Ulul Amr want

to dress us.

That alhamdulillah when we come in to Islam we give a shahadah and we say,

La lillallah, Muhammadur Rasulullah, shahadu wa lillahi lillallah, wa shahadu and Muhammadur

Rasulullah ﷺ, it's an imitated and fake shahadah because we're not shuhud, we're not witnessing

anything.

We come to our salah and we begin to pray and all sorts of gossips entering into the heart,

entering into the mind, distracting us from everything that is not a real salah and doesn't
02:22
count in Allah's Divine Presence.

It means with that level they want us to analyze ourselves that how can something count when

whispering and gossips and all sorts of distractions.

It's a meeting with the Lord Almighty.

With Allah's might and majesty your soul is asking to come into that Divine Presence and

make its prayers and we are distracted by all sorts of thoughts and all sorts of gossips

that come into the heart.

And then they take us through this journey and they take us to zakah and we begin to learn

how to give and the way of realities is to give from what Allah has given to us.

It becomes a life of service and we struggle with our zakah and our hands begin to tremble,

the heart begins to tremble and we begin to feel that if we give we won't ever get anything

back and Allah multiplies.

And we see all of that reality and nature that if you plant one seed, a tree may grow with

hundreds of fruits and each fruit hundred more seeds within them.

Allah is saying, because we have weak iman, do you see the nature all around you?

That if that seed is planted, how many fruits come?

And in that fruit, how many seeds exist within that means then they take us into the station

of zakah and begin to open our hands, open our hearts, open our minds and then they begin

to teach us the fasting and Allah brings us to the station of fasting and we begin to

learn how to abstain, that when we abstain and the first phases of abstinence is the concept

of not eating for 30 days, not drinking for 30 days.

That to submit the self to a higher authority, that why I have to do it is not important, that

Allah ordered it and we are from the people of Samina wa Atana.

You know we try our best excluding people who are sick and we pray that Allah make them

to be healthier and Allah make them to be in better conditions.

And the importance of praying always for good health.

Without good health every worshipness becomes a difficulty.

Every worshipness becomes such a weight that very difficult.

But they teach us that you give that zakah then come to Ramadan and begin to understand

the concept of fasting, understand to be compassionate for creation.

There are creations that are not eating, there are people who are not eating, there are people

in difficulty.

So first level becomes a sense of compassion.

With all of that, then Allah begins to open for us that make your hajj.

It means that every moment we should be making a hijrah, a movement towards Allah .

And if Allah opens for us the ability to have excess money and we go for the holy hajj

in Mecca and to visit Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ in Medina.

That is the pillars in which we built our life.

And only Allah come into our lives and teach us that it's not one shot.

You didn't just do this once and you have now conquered something.

Because they want to constantly negate every amal and show that there is a higher reality.

If we don't understand the higher reality, we'll be locked at the lower levels of our activities.

It means that we came and we thought, oh with our shahadah we're so great and we're self-righteous

and we are Muslims.

And many people call themselves mu'min, even they call themselves mukhlis.

They give their own titles for them.

If you talk to them, why?

Because they gave shahadah.

It means they teach us that what we're doing of salah is not counting.

What we're giving of zakah, we are shaking and frightened.

When we're coming to our fast, all we feel is hunger and thirst.

And the hijrah is a constant move two steps forward and go five steps back.

And awliyaullah come into our lives and said, this circle and this journey that we are on

is a da'eem, is an eternal journey.

They take us all the way to the reality of that hajj and they say, now make every salah

your hajj.

Because within it, every salah has all of the pillars within that salah.

You have to make shahadah, you are praying.

Your zakah is the time that you have taken off from Mawlana Shaykh's teaching.

You stop, you can't earn any money.

You're giving now zakah as soon as you make your salah.

You're fasting, you can't be eating a sandwich in the middle of the salah.

And you're making a hijrah because you are asking to move into Allah's Divine Presence.

And they begin to remind us that every journey has a new journey that once you're moving

on that hijrah, make it to be real.

Every year is 12 months of journeying, it starts in Muharram and ends on Zul Hajj.

That when you are moving into that hajj and making a hijrah to Allah's Divine Presence,

make it to be real and say, Ya Rabbi raise the darajat and raise me into the oceans of
08:31
iman.

And they begin to teach that from that hajj it begins real and begins to move the other

way around.

That from that hijrah into Allah's Divine Presence, they take us to the siyam from the

hajj.

We were going from the shahadah all the way to the hajj.

They teach us, no at that hajj it begins again that now make your siyam and the reality of

your siyam all your five senses.

And struggle and strive in which to make all five senses enter the state of fasting.

But to fast with your ears and what they hear, fast with your eyes and what they see, fast

with your hands and what they sense and touch.

Fast with your tongue, fast with your feet means every sense should be in a state of fasting.

If we can enter into the reality of the siyam where all the senses are abstaining for the

Divinely Kingdom, then Allah takes us into the ocean of zakah and say that zakah, make

the zakah of Sayyidina Ismail, that it's not about your money.

The money was at the first phase.

That which you worship has to be brought before Allah , has to be given to Allah .

Now the zakah of a mu'min and a mukhlas is they put themselves on the table.

They put themselves to be crushed by Allah , to be crushed by Prophet ﷺ, to be crushed

by awliya Allah .

We say crushed but they are merciful .

Means we enter into the oceans of testing.

But Ya Rabbi I want to sacrifice myself, not to harm people.

But I want what's evil within me, what's bad within me, Ya Rabbi bring it out.

And they begin to teach, then you put your head on there so we make a zabiya for you.

That you begin to sacrifice yourself and then the schools of adab begin to open for us.

At that time we know Allah accepting that dua, they sit in the schools of tarbiyah and they

teach you how you're so unimportant.

It sounds mean but it's not mean . But Ya Rabbi what I have to give to you, why I'm thinking

myself to be something so great.

I'm nothing Ya Rabbi, I'm nothing.

And all their training is to see ourselves and efface ourselves to be nothing.

And many spend their nights crying.

Ya Rabbi I didn't achieve what I thought I was going to achieve, I wasn't able to do

what I thought I was going to do.

Ya Rabbi when is your opening going to come?

When is Nasrullah going to come and support going to come?

Means to see ourselves as completely nothing and that Allah to make us to be halal.

That great personalities are coming into this dunya.

We want to be with Sayyidina Mahdi , but it's not going to happen with bad manners.

It's not going to happen with bad characteristics.

It's not going to come with anything from shaitan within us and we begin to make the process

of the zabiya.

Ya Rabbi let my bad character to flow from me and to put my head onto the table.

What I want is not important.

What Allah wants is important.

What Prophet ﷺ wants is important.

What awliyaullah want is important and that becomes the big struggle in our life.

To surrender ourselves to Allah is very difficult because you use all your agal thinking, you

know best how it's going to be done.

And Allah said, you don't even know your name and my Divinely Presence.

You don't know anything about yourself and you claim to know me and you speak on my behalf

and you speak on Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ's behalf.

Speak on your own behalf.

Take a path of trying to know yourself and they begin to teach the reality of that zakah.

Let all the badness to go.

If that zakah and that tarbiyah is real, the next station of salah begins to open the prayer

of a mukhlis.

The prayer of the mukhlis is sincere.

They surrendered and gave themselves, they did everything that Allah wants from them and

their salah becomes real and maqam al-ihsan.

The Prophet ﷺ described, pray as if you see Allah for if you don't see Allah, Allah

sees you.

It means the oceans of taqwa and consciousness begin to open.

That when we're praying real and we gave everything of ourselves and we began to pray at night

to sacrifice ourselves.

This is not harm, this is not harming anyone, this is not being a suicide bomber.

This is only coming against myself.

At night crying, crying, I'm not happy with myself, I'm not reaching your ridha, I'm

not reaching the ridha of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ in all of its realities.

And we begin to take a path of sacrifice.

That salah becomes more and more real.

This is a lifelong journey.

As much as we reach the reality of zakah, the secret of the salah opens.

If you can't sacrifice yourself, the salah never becomes real and it's through a veil

like an iron door.

You don't see anything, you don't feel anything, nothing there.

But when only Allah are taking us, that you make yourself to be halal.

And as the process of being halal, the process of dying before you die, where what you wanted

didn't open, what Allah wanted is the way it's going to be.

And that happens continuously in our lives and you begin to forget about it.

Whatever Allah wants, let it happen that way.

You give up your struggling and constant battling with Divine will and you begin the process

of real tasleem and submission and whatever Allah wants is the way it's going to happen.

And that becomes the boat with the sail.

Our lives are a boat with the sail.

We merely put up the sail and where Allah going to blow that boat, it's going.

And you stop struggling and trying to battle with what Allah wants for us, then the shahada

because the salah became real, the shahada is activated.

Means that at that time the servant when they pray, they witness what Allah wants them to

witness.

As-salamu alayka ayyuh al-Nabi means giving salaams directly to the presence of Prophet ﷺ

is what every servant should be struggling for.

We should be asking, Ya Rabbi that I don't want the imitated salah where I'm praying like

I'm in a closet, I don't see anything, I don't feel anything but I want to reach towards

the reality of that salah that I surrender myself, surrender my will.

My will only makes problems.

Anybody who imposes the will over the will of Prophet ﷺ over the will of Ulul Amr will

always fail, especially in the tariqah because this is a school of training.

That when we take that path, Allah is activating these realities.

But you want your realities, I'm supposing you're sitting with these people because you

want your realities, so it means that will can never manifest itself.

And as soon as that will begins to manifest, all sorts of difficulties begin to come towards

the servant.

That stop wanting and submitting, submit to what Allah wants.

That is the reality of tawheed, that there's only Allah in Allah and who's teaching us is

Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ means now the salah becomes real.

And these are darajats like veils that begin to be lifted.

That when the salah is coming to be real, the shahadah is now starting to open.

You begin to sense, you begin to feel, you begin to taste.

You feel them all around, you feel that energy around.

And as the darajat opens, the way Allah wants it to be opened, they begin to see with their

heart.

We pray that always our journey is a continuous journey and that never to be happy with any

station, any maqam, anything that we think has opened to negate it as is still much more

that Allah can open.

As long as we keep our cup empty and keep moving, keep moving, keep moving, that reality

is infinite.

The Allah's oceans of lights and realities are infinite.

The love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ infinite in its capacity.

We thought we loved Prophet ﷺ five years ago.

It's not a drop compared to what we love Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ now.

It won't be a drop compared to five years from now.

Moving deep within the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.

That's what we're all struggling for, for that light and for that love.

We pray that Allah bless us from the lights of Holy Qur'an, that is the barakah of Ramadan.

That in that one month Allah whips that ego into shape, fills the soul with lights and says,

now go back and reach towards your marifa, reach towards your reality.
