00:44Somebody had emailed and asked that the verse in which Allah said,
00:49don't take awliyaullah as your protectors like the Christians and the Jewish people took
00:55their rabbis and said, please explain this and how does it make reference to having a
01:02shaykh and a guide.
01:04Again, these types of questions from the Wahhabi belief system and how it infiltrates Ahl-Sunnah
01:16and usually through Qur'an tafsir classes that you should not take.
01:22In these days of extreme danger and difficulty your tafsir class has to be with someone strong
01:29in tariqah .
01:31Tafsir means somebody's interpretation and they're not reading you a known tafsir, they're
01:37reading you the tafsir of Wahhabi scholars or that person is giving their own interpretation.
01:43So it's not something holy it's the person's interpretation of something immensely holy.
01:50So the example for us is that Qur'an like a beatific water that has no equal but the cup
01:58is poisonous and that's where you're going to going to sort of suffer is that the cup
02:03has to be like gold, has to be a heart that's like gold that's sanctified and stamped by
02:10Allah that what come from this person's mouth will only refresh you and nourish you.
02:18And that's the danger because soon as somebody emails like that that's yeah that's a sign
02:23that be very careful.
02:25You know Ahl-Sunnah with Jama'ah is very clear, we call wajib al-takhleed and it's mandatory
02:33in Islamic belief to follow and that you're not by yourself.
02:38You don't have the gates of making your own tafsir open for you and you don't make up
02:46Islamic law with you know one billion muftis.
02:50There's an Islamic hierarchy and there's an Islamic structure.
02:55And wajib al-taqleed means it's mandatory to follow.
03:00So as Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ showed a sign of humility and waited for Sayyidina Jibra'il
03:08and the holy companions they're called sahabi because of their companionship with Sayyidina
03:14Muhammad ﷺ and then the scholars who came after they were the companions of the companions
03:22what we call tabi'een and then the tabi'een they had also who followed that they came
03:29to Islam and they were tabi tabi'een.
03:32They were the talibs and the students of the students of the holy companions tracing their
03:40root all the way back to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
03:45And Naqshbandiyat al-Aliya is then the unbroken golden chain that traces its lineage of teachers
03:53all the way back to the heart of Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and that is the big siddique
04:00that traces back to the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
04:05It's a school of teaching and a school of realities that has an unbroken chain what they
04:11call their shajarah of shaykhs that took from this shaykh that took from that shaykh that
04:17was taught by this shaykh by that shaykh by this shaykh all the way back to the heart
04:23of Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq which is from then the secret of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
04:30So tariqah is based on this Sunni belief that you have to have a lineage, you have to be connected,
04:38you have to be following the way of ihtibar and to Atiullah, Atiur Rasul wa Ulul Amri
04:46minkum .
04:47That our life is about following Allah , obedience to Allah , but Allah
04:52is impossible to fully comply so then Allah gives a understanding then obey the Messenger
04:58of Allah .
05:00And the Messenger of Allah is not fully understood and it's understanding for everyone so then
05:06Allah gives another rope that comes down closer to us to Ulul Amri minkum .
05:13That the Ulul Amr and the scholars of reality that are like ropes from the heart and the
05:21reality of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ Allah then describes hold tight to this rope and don't
05:29separate.
05:30Don't make yourself into different groups and all by yourself and all by your loneliness
05:36is hold tight to their rope and to their reality.
05:40And throughout the Qur'an Allah is teaching, have a taqwa,
05:45it taqwa Allah wa qulul ma sadiqeen .
05:48Have a consciousness a taqwa and accompany these truthful servants.
05:54And then many our whole our teaching is all of that so when the email comes like that means
05:58they didn't even go through anything of the website any of the teachings and the tariqah
06:04is based on all of that and not one clever person can send an email and think they found the
06:09whole problem with everything.
06:11That's ridiculous.
06:13The whole tariqah is based on all of that all the tafsirs and teachings of Surat Al-Kahf
06:19and the reality that Allah gives an example for Kalimullah the one whom speaks to Allah
06:25he still said he needs to go and find a servant and the quality of that servant for the people
06:31who are looking for like professional Azhari shaykhs and who have you know many degrees
06:37and many diplomas actually Nabi Musa was supposed to search for a servant that attained a rahmah
06:45and then was taught divinely knowledges means not he was taught knowledges and then we gave
06:52him rahmah which is exactly opposite that's happening now.
06:56If you take too many fikr classes you're going to be a very angry mean person and you're
07:01not going to reach to rahmah because the law makes people too strict to you know like
07:11having friends who are police officers you can never have a conversation with them.
07:16Have you ever sat with friends who are police officers?
07:19You can't have a conversation everything's an interrogation.
07:22So are we having like a coffee here or you're interrogating me and I don't understand
07:27oh sorry it's just the way I am Shaykh.
07:30So that's the nature of it that when you read too much law books you got too much information
07:36in your head and you're not able to absorb it understand it and apply it to the appropriate
07:43place and action and where that law was necessary to be understood so they become very hard everything
07:50is forbidden but then the dangers then they enter into the oceans of hypocrisy.
07:57It's forbidden for you but for me I do everything because they know the law so they're going to
08:02verbatim tell you the law but doesn't mean that they even applied that law to
08:06themselves.
08:07So then once they enter into hypocrisy the heart completely flips from any barakah and
08:13rahmah of Allah .
08:15Then those scholars they're complete munafiq and that's that madhab.
08:20They say everything they're dancing and they're not inviting any holy people for mawlid but
08:27Beyonce is in Saudi Arabia.
08:29So what are these people they are going to teach us religion?
08:34First they first kick out Beyonce then come and teach what religion is.
08:40There are people who say but they don't do and as a result they put every difficulty onto
08:46religion because they work for shaitan.
08:49Shaitan want things hard to make people run away.
08:55So one of these scholars was debating them and say, look can I ask you are you working for
08:59shaitan or for Rahman and he got very angry he didn't answer he says because I tell you
09:05for Rahman I'm trying to take everybody to paradise but shaitan he takes everybody to
09:11Jahannam and to run away from the gate of paradise.
09:17So what are you doing with this type of teaching that you have?
09:20You really think people are coming to your understanding and they're entering into paradise?
09:25Or you're scaring them from paradise and they're actually running in the direction of Jahannam
09:32saying, I can't deal with you people I don't understand your rules and I'm leaving it.
09:38So these are the dangers of that madhab their belief system, stay away from them, stay away
09:43from their websites, stay away from their tafsir, stay away from all their readings.
09:48Your heart is your most precious gift Allah gave to you, waqufful qalb means to keep your
09:56heart to be vigilant.
09:59You don't give your children to eat from this person, eat from that person, let's see
10:04maybe a stranger can give my little child something to eat.
10:08You're vigilant that, no nothing can come to this child, my life is to protect them from
10:14every type of difficulty.
10:16Then Allah will ask, why you didn't protect your heart?
10:20Don't let somebody talk to you that going to bring a darkness into your ear and then begin
10:25to make a shock and a confusion into your heart.
10:30And that's why when you love the shaykh, stick with the shaykh, learn from their books, learn
10:34from their teachings.
10:35They got enough books, enough articles to feed you 10 lifetimes of knowledges.
10:42And that's all you need, just absorb yourself into that reality and begin to be dressed
10:48by it and blessed by it.
10:50And any type of person who wants to ask you about, oh what about these things, is this
10:55like a shirk and the main point of that whole discussion when they say, don't be like the
11:02Christians and the Jews who they took their rabbis as their lords.
11:07You describe that verse is in reference to somebody claiming to help you from Allah.
11:15If you find a guru or somebody on the internet that said, you know, I can take away all your
11:20problems, I can take away all your sicknesses, I can take away whatever Allah sent you, that's
11:27a shaitan and that's the danger.
11:30And we've given a talk before that, don't take anyone to compete with Allah .
11:38And that's what's meant by that holy verse, is that Allah saying that, don't think that
11:43anybody is going to negate what I'm doing.
11:47If I took away money from you, nobody's du'a will change that.
11:51If I gave you sickness, nobody's du'a will give you a cure or healing.
11:57And that's why we talked in Naqshbandiyat al-Aliyyah understood very clear that they are merely
12:04Allah's servants and they're here to encourage people towards good character and faith.
12:11They're not in the business of competing with Allah and that's the importance.
12:16Whatever Allah has destined for the servant, that's Allah's will.
12:21The shaykh's duty is only to encourage that you should pray more, you should give more,
12:27you should be doing more, you should be focusing on your heart, you should be focusing on all
12:32these things and both you and me we wait to see what Allah's will will be for you.
12:37So it's not about interfering with Allah's will, changing Allah's will, doing things that
12:42Allah doesn't want.
12:44So that's the known fact that the turuqs and the true turuqs and the lineage of these
12:49immense schools of reality, their only purpose is to be servants of Allah and to serve Allah's
12:58servants.
12:59Means to encourage them towards goodness, teach somebody how to fish instead of just giving
13:04them fishes.
13:06And that's what's important because whatever the student learns they learn for all of eternity.
13:11And they're not here to take anyone's test but to help you in your life's tests and that's
13:17the role of the shaykhs and real shaykhs.
13:21But they throw those types of questions to confuse people and say, oh yeah what are you talking
13:26about?
13:27But no, they're not legitimate concerns for anyone to worry about.
13:33The effects of food on ourselves in relation to controlling our ego and our character.
13:42I think we talked many times about the energy and the practices of energy is that it's all
13:49inclusive.
13:51That what we eat, what we drink, how we wash, all our meditation, all our practices, everything
14:00has an energy in it and everything has negative energy in it and everything has positive energies
14:08in it.
14:09So most definitely the food has an immense amount of energy.
14:15So then imagine that the food that people eat, is it food that we eat by people who are
14:23one the food is halal?
14:25InshaAllah yes.
14:27And then the people interacting with that food are they clean?
14:32Because once you study energy we begin to understand that the people and our biggest contamination
14:40is from people, from ourselves.
14:43The energy that we have we put into everything we do.
14:48So somebody who's in jannub, somebody who's not washed, somebody who's doing maybe bad things
14:53having bad characteristics, imagine they're touching all the meat that you're about to
15:00eat at the restaurant and they're putting all their desires, all their anger and not consciously
15:07they're just putting it in there because they don't understand their energy beings.
15:11And then you come and quickly eat it and enjoy it and go.
15:16And you don't know why a desire came into your heart, why you're feeling these bizarre desires
15:21or bizarre dreams and bizarre energies.
15:25So once we become conscious of our energy and conscious of our energy practices then yes
15:30we try to safeguard as best we can with the energies and the times that we have to
15:36eat from other things then we mention our du'as above them,
15:40إِلَّا شَرْفَ نَبِي ﷺ وَعَلِهُ أَصْحَابِ الْكِرَامِ وَلَمَ الشَّيْخِينَ
15:45فِي تَرِيْكَةِ نَشْبَانْدِيَّةَ الْعَلِيَّةِ
15:47Means I'm saying by the sanctity and the immense blessings of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ his
15:52holy family and holy companions and then I'm reading the names of my shaykh for their
15:57nazar to bless this food I'm about to eat.
16:02That from the abundance of lights that dress these lights upon this to take away every
16:08negativity and that from any goodness in anything I do grant it to their souls as a gift.
16:16So alhamdulillah those things then help us to clean away negative energies of everything
16:20that we're eating and consuming and drinking.
16:24Then using our siwak, then using our meditation practices, breathing, doing our zikr and then
16:30keeping our wudu and all of our energy practices inshaAllah makes everything to be a whole program.
16:37If we're doing certain things and we're still having you know different issues and anger
16:41and you know bad visions and bad energies then we have to look at everything like a checklist.
16:49Is what I'm eating, what I'm drinking, am I doing the meditation, am I keeping myself
16:54in wudu, am I doing my zikr, my awrad and keeping my connection because right now the energy becoming
17:00more and more fierce that this these negative energies are all around all around flying in
17:06and out.
17:08So if we don't sort of follow the entire system with like you know like you know bugs coming
17:14in through the house you want to figure out where are they coming in or rats it's like
17:19having a rat running around your house you don't know where is this rat coming from so you
17:22plug up all the holes you go around the perimeter you go everywhere you put the mesh you put
17:27all these different things to stop the rat from coming in.
17:31So same thing if we're having you know issues in our sleep and our energy and vision, meditation
17:39whatever conditions coming then we have to go back to see where is the hole in my practice
17:44where this would be coming through inshaAllah.
17:51What is it that insan has that the jinn would be jealous of and that make insan to be more
18:11regarded in Allah's sight?
18:13I mean it's just a hasad that the general understanding of hasad that,
18:19«Wa laqad karana Bani Adam» that why Allah put an honoured status upon Bani Adam and
18:26that if Bani Adam exceeds and excels they're granted a tremendous amount of authority and
18:36power with Allah and that's just natural for any type of creation to be jealous.
18:43And especially a creation that is of a fiery nature in which they deem humans to be very
18:51fragile that they move in and out of human without a problem they occupy humans without
18:57a problem.
18:58They understand that what's this big deal of this insan that Allah has honoured them
19:06and that goes back to the talks of the four elements that our earth, our water, our breath,
19:13earth, wind, water and fire.
19:18That understanding these four elements then is the immensity of our reality and that they
19:25only have a state of fiery and ethereal wind like, they don't understand the reality of
19:34the earth as a grounding and that Allah gave earth within us as a mizan, as an immense scale.
19:43The earthly nature of us is capable of holding both water and extinguishing fire.
19:53As a result of that scale that it can contain all the elements that Allah want to put
20:00upon insan.
20:02So, with an control of the earthly nature their water element which is an angelic reality
20:10that you put water onto earth and things grow and that's the reality of how they can grow
20:17in all of their understandings.
20:19At the same time anything of a fiery nature that comes to them Allah gives them the ability
20:25to extinguish the fire and put down.
20:29So they don't have that ability because they're of a fiery nature so they continuously in a state
20:34of flux and unstable condition.
20:38So they're always a nation in fighting and war.
20:42We described last week they're always fighting.
20:45And their lifetimes are a thousand, two thousand, three thousand years.
20:49There are nations of them that have been fighting for thousands of years and they don't stop
20:54fighting.
20:56And that's why the humans are caught in all their battles.
20:59And their fight can go generation in a human's line.
21:05That from father to son to father to son that fight of that being is still attached to that
21:12family.
21:14And because of that nature that's where they're jealous.
21:17That what Allah gave to this creation they can control their water and angelic reality
21:22and be stable.
21:23And things can grow from them.
21:26At same time they can control the fire and have a peacefulness.
21:31That fire if it becomes controlled becomes a himmah, becomes the zeal in which to conquer
21:37and not a fire in which to be angry and attack.
21:40It becomes the fire of their ishq and their love for Allah .
21:45And as a result Allah blowed on to them from His Spirit.
21:49So they carry a nafas ar-rahmah , the Spirit of Allah's Divinely breath is
21:55being breathed into them if they reach towards their mizan and the reality of their scale.
22:01If they balance their water bring their angelic lights and angelic nature and nourish their
22:07angelic reality and that they contain their fiery jeen in nature.
22:12Don't give yourself to the fire for that will be then the destiny of where you're going.
22:18Once they control that Allah will send His nafas into them until they breathe from Allah
22:24as Divinely Qudra and Divinely power inshaAllah.

22:33Yeah some of these New Age terms is astral projection in tariqah, okay.
22:45Yeah some of the terms I'm not too familiar on how to equate it back to tariqah teachings.
22:53So we have our own teachings we don't have astral projection.
22:59So yeah you have to you have to give me the exact tariqah understanding so that that way
23:04I can give a more a better understanding in towards tariqah.
23:11But main thing is important from that type of question is stick with the tariqah teaching.
23:18Don't mix all these different philosophies and read all these different books and you
23:24know go here click there click there.
23:26You're going to enter into spiritual schizophrenia which is a very dangerous world to start mixing
23:32with.
23:33And I think we've described before we went to a place in New Mexico that was a spiritual
23:40place and I don't think I've seen a more spiritually schizophrenic community in my life because they
23:48had mixed everything.
23:51And every practice has many beings attached to it.
23:58And when you do your practices you're bringing the energy that you know you're told to bring,
24:02the mu'mah beings that are there they're also bringing their energy into your practices.
24:08You create a whole environment like a masjid.
24:11You're calling the azan they all know you're ready to pray.
24:15Imagine now you pick up a book with four different understandings and philosophies and each of them
24:21have their own beings and understandings and energies attached and then you invite them
24:27to your living room and begin.
24:29They become like the a fist fight with the fight club because all of them are they have
24:39no compatibility they're not even supposed to be in the same environment.
24:43They're wondering what are you calling you know if you're Muslim and you're doing these
24:47spiritual practices they'll be very angry that why are you calling this Hindu thing?
24:53Why is this Hindu creature coming?
24:54Why are you bringing this Hindu smell?
24:56Why is this energy from this Japanese reiki and all of their spirit elements coming?
25:04So everything has something attached to it.
25:07But insan he doesn't see and doesn't know so he says it doesn't matter.
25:10So I'll put all of them on to me just to look modern and hip but it's very dangerous.
25:17Because if these beings all come and they start to mess up the person's understanding, thinking
25:23and Islam is pure and clean.
25:26And if you want from what Allah wants to bestow the servant they have to be hundred percent
25:32in compliance and that they only want the gold from heaven.
25:37They don't want to mix it with some garbage from Ganges and some garbage from another place
25:42and then mix these things they want only from what comes from the kawthar from Allah .
25:49And that Allah will test them, test them, test them.
25:52Once they're sincere and Allah sees that sincerity and that they're not going to mix from these
25:58different realities then Allah begin to bestow upon that servant from that ocean and they
26:04become custodians of that reality.
26:07And they never mixed it with other realities and people who don't understand that and
26:12hear them talk they think, oh this is mixed with you know other hocus pocus.
26:16No just they don't understand the realities of Islam.
26:20People don't understand energy anymore.
26:22So you go somewhere and they say, why you have this blue turquoise stone?
26:26What is that going to do for you?
26:27You think the stone will help you?
26:29Say, no why would the stone help me?
26:32But if you understood the colour of blue you knew that it took your eyes and the eyes are
26:38very dangerous from what Allah created of insan.
26:41The power that each person's eyes have you have to be very careful of that.
26:47What you look at and what kind of energy that you're sending.
26:49They say even looking at your own children you have to be very careful.
26:53Don't look at them envious, don't look at people with too much from your eyes.
26:58You have to look down and look to your feet because everyone has an energy they put out.
27:04And people don't know that energy but the turuqs they understand the reality of energies
