Tinkercad is a powerful yet beginner-friendly 3D design and modeling tool ideal for makers, students, and educators. In this course, you’ll learn how to create stunning 3D models using Tinkercad’s simple, intuitive interface. From building basic shapes and designing prototypes to exporting files for 3D printing, you’ll discover how to bring your ideas to life in a virtual workspace quickly and creatively.
In this video lesson, we’ll discuss about Adding Notes in Tinkercad
00:00Especially when you have a lot of objects, you may want to keep a note of what the objects are for, especially when you're working around with groups in Tengacad.
00:16So if you want to go ahead and then add in notes to specific objects, you can simply click on an object right here and then click on note right here.
00:25So once you go ahead and do that, you can see that you can attach a note right here to this object.
00:30And let's say, for example, this is going to be a base. And then as I drag along, you can see the note right here attached with this particular object right here.
00:39So if I were to go ahead and then move this, you can see that the note is not attached with this, but you can go ahead and keep the note in 3D space.
00:49And then as you click on it, you can see base right here. Let me just go around and click right here as well.
00:54You can see that it is actually attached to it. So let's say this is going to be a wall right here, for example, then you'll be able to see that particular note.
01:03So similarly, you'll be able to click the note wherever you want right here.
01:07Like, let's say, for example, sample and then click the note right here to actually see it pop up right here, just like this.
01:13So that is how you can go ahead and add notes inside of Tinkercad.
