00:00If you want to know how far or how close an object is, you can actually go ahead and utilize a ruler.
00:11So if I were to click on the ruler and click right here, then you see the ruler reference point right here.
00:18Click on any object and then you'll be able to see the length of this particular object.
00:23You can even go ahead and change this out by typing in a value as you can see right here just like this.
00:29Go ahead and click and drag this out as well.
00:32Apart from that, you can also go ahead right here and see the difference in size right here.
00:37So you can see that this is the ruler.
00:39Just go ahead and move it to a point.
00:41And as you click on an object, you will be able to see the size right here just like this as you can see.
00:47So this is what you have.
00:48So if I were to go around over here, you can see that this is 10 points over here on the top and 20 points over here on to the right.
00:55You can go ahead and click and drag it and then this is what you have as you can see.
00:59And that is how you can go ahead and utilize the ruler as needed.
01:04You can even move the ruler and you will be able to see like different sections right here just like this as you can see right here.
01:10You can click and drag it out and then this is the length that you see right here.
01:15So that is how you can utilize the ruler and if you were to click on the ruler again, it goes away.
01:20Then you can go ahead and click anywhere.
01:22Click on the object to see the distance and everything else from the ruler.
01:26So that is how you can go ahead and use the ruler option inside of Tinkercad.
