00:00so now let's see how we can work around with ruler endpoints while using it so for that let me just

00:11go ahead and bring in this ruler right here so you can see that this is the midpoint right here

00:16and as I click you can see that it actually goes ahead and take this particular reference point

00:23right here but here you can see that midpoint is an option and as you click you can see that it

00:28actually uses the midpoint right here of the shape instead of the endpoint so you can see that I got

00:34the endpoint measured right here meaning it is taking this particular as as the reference uh for

00:41the measurement as you can see that as soon as I click on use midpoint you can see that it actually

00:47takes the center of the object as reference point and then simply uh gives me that scale right there
