Ahmedabad (Gujarat), June 09, 2025 (ANI): GMERS Medical College & Hospital’s RMO Dr Kiran Goswami on June 09 informed that 16-year-old girl, who was admitted to our hospital on June 04 due to COVID-19, was died.  “There was a sixteen-year-old in our hospital who died recently. That patient was admitted to our hospital on 4 June, and our doctor said that she had symptoms of COVID-19. She had a high fever, and we got her tested, and got her blood test done... After doing all the tests, her report came out COVID-positive. So our doctors had given her some injections and the low molecular weight heparin for blood thinning... The patient was on the ventilator and was not maintaining her oxygen level... Ultimately, she died. She also had hepatitis...,” said Dr Kiran Goswami.
