If you could nominate someone for a pride of Britain Award in the north East, who would it be?

00:00Maybe it would be nice if like more volunteer roles were recognised on a national scale

00:07because there's a lot of things that require people to give up their time for nothing in

00:12return whether that would be like charity shops or you know volunteer run community

00:17activities or anything like that.

00:19For example there's a place in Keaton that's a totally volunteer run called Star and Shadow

00:23Cinema and it's also a venue for event spaces it's completely volunteer run I just think

00:28that brings a lot of good to the community.

00:30It's a good place to go for free for everyone, students, families alike I think that's somewhere

00:36that should be recognised as well.

00:38Any community organisation that is working to get people who are homeless or who are in mental

00:51crisis giving them space and using human time to work with them and get them off of whatever

00:58substance is destroying them.
