We’re asking people around Cardiff for the kinds of people they’d like to see honoured at the Pride of Britain Awards. The awards sing the praises of unsung heroes, so who would you like to see nominated?
00:00I think local artists, people who encourage local art, local music, I think the local music scene in Cardiff especially is dying, I think anyone that tries to encourage that, either teach music, have local music events, local art events, local art shows, anything that encourages the creativity of the people, I think is good for mental health, and I think it's a really good step because as I say, I think the scene is dying.
00:21I'd like to see a representation for trans people, non-binary people, gay people as a whole, because even though there's a big push for it nowadays, I still think there needs to be more education, people being out there and actually pushing themselves as being LGBT friendly, LGBT safe.
00:38Sports people, definitely, because they're like showing that anyone could do anything pretty much, like keep fit and you could get into it, don't think politicians should be put up for a part of Britain award, but maybe just yeah, sports people and yeah, I think many sports people, because I think they're good idols for everyone.
