A search and rescue operation in Melaka came to a successful conclusion early Friday (June 6) morning when a 15-year-old boy with learning disabilities was found alive after spending more than 32 hours lost in a forest.

00:14lost in a forest. Muhammad Aidil Ashraf Fadli had been missing since Wednesday night when he
00:19ventured into the forest near Kampung Permatang Pasir in search for a lost cow. His disappearance
00:25triggered a multi-agency rescue effort involving over 30 personnel and specialized equipment.
00:31The breakthrough came at around 2 a.m. when rescue teams discovered the teenager
00:35lying weakened in thick undergrowth approximately 600 meters from the fire and rescue department's
00:41operational base. Village residents had alerted authorities after hearing faint groaning sounds
00:47coming from behind a house. Medical personnel provided on-site treatment before transferring
00:53the boy to a hospital for further care. The search operation officially concluded at 3.52 a.m.
01:01The boy's mother, Siti Norahan Azhar, said Muhammad Aidil, the second of six siblings,
01:07has been tending to his uncle's 13 cows every evening for the past three years. This was the
01:13first time he went missing. The missing cow was found near an abandoned pond in the forest
01:19at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
