Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, leading an all-party delegation in Washington, has firmly denied US President Donald Trump’s claim of brokering peace between India and Pakistan after Operation Sindoor.

00:05We have no real difficulty in speaking the same language as the Pakistanis.

00:09Just yesterday, the leader of your party, Rahul Gandhi, said Modi surrendered to President Trump.

00:15No one needed to tell us stop because we were telling them.

00:18The moment Pakistan stops, we are prepared to stop.

00:20So as long as they use the language of terrorism, we will use the language of force.

00:24And that doesn't require a third party.

00:26If, on the other hand, they were to dismantle the infrastructure of terrorism, we can talk to them.
