Delhi, June 4, 2025 (ANI): Commenting on the Bengaluru stampede, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje said, “The Karnataka government has completely failed. A massive stampede occurred at the stadium, and there was no oversight regarding how many people should have been allowed in. Neither the police nor the government took notice. More people were allowed than the venue could handle, and that’s what led to the stampede. The government should resign. They were unable to manage even a small programme. This government has no right to continue. Just yesterday, we were celebrating the IPL win, and today we are in mourning — such is the situation in Karnataka. It was the government's responsibility, and it failed to fulfil it.”
