00:23Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas, who is one of the five lawmakers to endorse one of three impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte, said,
00:32Makabayan is not subservient to the Speaker of the House.
00:36Other lawmakers, including Bataan lawmaker Geraldine Roman and Manila lawmaker Rolando Valeriano,
00:42say Escudero's claim is baseless and their votes to impeach Duterte was not the Speaker's call.
00:47Escudero was at the receiving end of criticism for moving the Articles of Impeachment's reading from June 2 to June 11.
00:54June 11 is the last day before the Senate adjourns Sina Dia.
