01:31And Rick Steiner and Bill Kazmaier, we have been notified, have signed a return match for the WCW World Tag Team Championship with the Enforcers.

01:51Now, wait a minute. Don't go saying boom.
01:55Boom! My whole thing is saying wham.
01:57Now, all of a sudden, you're trying to be Pauly Dangerously.
02:01If I was trying to be Pauly Dangerously, I would start trying to lose my hair.
02:05So that I could gain a few pounds and become Jim Ross.
02:08Perhaps, in the right places, it wouldn't look bad on you.
02:11Rick Steiner has dominated this man.

02:19As we mentioned, Scott Steiner still rehabilitating his arm.
02:23And in the new issue of WCW Magazine, Lex Luger will be on the cover.

02:35But I tell you what, I think Scott Steiner's a liar in that interview.
02:39He says one way or another, he's going to make it back.
02:43And I've never seen an athlete suffer that sort of an injury and come back at 100%.

04:55The godfather of World Championship Wrestling, Theodore R. Long proudly presents
05:01from Macon, Georgia, weighing T1-3 and 51 pounds, Johnny B. Badd.
05:13His opponent from Kansas City, Missouri, T1-3, 34 pounds, T.C. Carter.
05:20Johnny B. Badd, the flamboyant one.
05:22And Paul will be talking to another flamboyant athlete tonight here on TBS.
05:26Because tonight on World Championship Wrestling, Paul will be speaking to the American Dream,
05:32Dusty Rhodes.
05:33Who claims that he's no longer an athlete, that he's retired.
05:36But I don't think the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, is retired.
05:40I think he's resting.
05:41And I think he's using this special referee stipulation in the Omni in October the 12th
05:46as an excuse to come out of retirement.
05:50Any fans may be aware that Dusty Rhodes will be the special referee on Saturday night, October 12th.
05:55In Atlanta's Omni, the participants will be Lex Lutner, Mr. Hughes, meaning Barry Windham
06:01and Ron Simmons.
06:03And you've got to believe it, we're talking to anybody that's stepping around with the
06:07fabulous Johnny B. Badd is the Tootie Fruity Badd.
06:09Why is he looking to the right of the camera?
06:12How come he doesn't look right into the camera?
06:14I never understood that about him.
06:17I can't tell you.
06:17You know, I tell you what, Johnny B. Badd is ranked number nine in World Championship
06:23Wrestling.
06:23But what I think, in my opinion, is that he's a more logical opponent for Evander Holyfield
06:29than Mike Tyson.
06:29Well, I'm sure that Johnny B. Badd is going to make every attempt to stay out of jail.
06:35Mike Tyson's opponents have his problems with that.
06:38And Johnny B. Badd, really been hot in recent weeks, has only one blemish on his one lost
06:47record.
06:47So he is certainly in a very envious position.
06:50And I have to say that it seems to me that he'll be running away with the Rookie of the
06:55Year honors in World Championship Wrestling.
06:57Oh, no doubt about it, hey, for three seconds of his life, Sting was a better man than Johnny
07:02B. Badd.
07:03But Johnny B. Badd earned a shot at the United States Heavyweight Champion after only three
07:08and a half months of competition in the professional ranks.
07:11This is, no question about it, the Rookie of the Year.
07:21Nice move there by Johnny B. Badd, showing great leg strength.
07:24And now he'll take another path of offense.

08:51We'll also be seeing Cactus Jack, the man that's being paid to put Sting out of WCW.
08:56We will see the man from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, in action in this hour.
09:01Now, Paul, in just a few moments, we're going back in time to take a look at a matchup
09:04held several weeks ago involving the Patriots and the then United States Tag Team Champions,
09:09the Freebirds.
09:10They lost those titles to the Patriots two weeks ago here on TV.
09:12Well, of course they lost it to the Patriots.
09:14I mean, the Freebirds gave the Patriots chance after chance after chance
09:17to become the United States Tag Team Champions.
09:20And on one night of their lives, the Patriots were the better team than the Freebirds.
09:24But, in all fairness, we shouldn't be showing them a match from a couple weeks ago.
09:28The Patriots, just like the Freebirds did when they were champions,
09:31should give the Birds rematch after rematch after rematch.
09:35Well, I'm sure the Patriots are going to be fighting champions.
09:37As a matter of fact, they've already signed several championship contracts.
09:40But now let's go back in time and go to the ring for Tag Team Match.
09:43Wrestling fans, the following Tag Team event, it is set for one fall.
09:50Introducing team number one from the WCW Special Forces,
09:56Todd Champion, Firebreaker Chip, the Patriots.
10:01I'm sure both these guys have been going on the Brews Cruise.
10:15We'll have more information on the Brews Cruise later in the hour.
10:18And their opponents, from Bad Street, USA, in Atlanta, Georgia.
10:24They are the WCW United States Tag Team Champions,
10:31the fabulous Freebirds.
10:35You know, you shouldn't say that the Patriots are going to go on to Brews Cruise.
10:40That's almost false advertising.
10:43Why?
10:43They're not going to make it.
10:46They're part of that big show Monday in Dolphin, Alabama.
10:49And from what I understand, Michael P.S. Hayes and Jimmy Jeff Garvin have devised a plan
10:55that is so devious, that is so diabolical,
10:59that the Patriots might never show their faces again.
11:03The event in Dolphin, Alabama, Monday night begins at 7 p.m.
11:19There's your proof right there.
11:21They are the greatest rock and roll band of all time.
11:28Firebreaker Chip on the left, Todd Champion on the right.
11:31It'll be Chip starting out.
11:33In this tag team event.
11:36I want to remind the fans in the Atlanta area that what a card it will be in Atlanta's Omni
11:41on Saturday night, October 12th.
11:43A special edition of World Championship Wrestling being on Saturday night.
11:51From behind, Garvin, the veteran, gaining the advantage here on Chip.
11:57But the strong, compact youngster makes a nice counter move.

12:03And catches him with a drop kick.

13:04And the veteran Freebird duo rolling out of bounds, so to speak.

13:22The reason some fans are now cheering the Freebirds is because they're behind the Freebirds because the Freebirds have issued a challenge to the world tag team champions, the enforcers.
13:32The freebirds.
13:35Give me jam Garvin looks on as his partner Michael Hayes finds himself in a side headlock.
13:42Tag was made.
13:45Hayes with a kick brought to the chest.
13:48Garvin with a forearm.
13:51Champion in.
13:52Wants a piece of Hayes, but referee's going to put him outside.
13:55And in the meantime, Firewick or Chip just got tossed over the top rope.
14:05Hayes with a real intense onslaught here.
14:07I'd like to see the Freebirds meet the enforcers.
14:15I think that'd be an outstanding matchup.
14:17Oh, no doubt about it.
14:19Freebirds have been the world tag team champions two times.
14:24As Chip there tries to get back in.
14:28And the enforcers, you see, this just shows Anderson and Zbysko, they don't tuck anybody.
14:35They've defended their belts already against the Patriots, even though that decision was inconclusive.

14:42It's that Garvin pin.
14:44Referee down about a count late.
14:46That's what it was.

14:53They defended their belts against the Z-Man and Robert Gibson.
14:56They defended their belts against the Hardliners, so they're not going to back down from anybody.

15:04And not even the fabulous Freebirds.
15:08Aren't you going to tell the fans that you were talking to some buddies of Firebreaker Chip.
15:12Some guys from his neighborhood.
15:13They were talking about him being a chip off the old block.

15:19You know, I was talking to some old buddies of Chip's the other day.
15:22Garvin back on the attack there with a snap there.
15:24And drives that knee right to the face of Chip.

15:35One thing about the birds, they're a very colorful team.
15:39Never a dull moment with those guys around.
15:42And Hayes now going for the Bulldog.
15:44But Firebreaker Chip put on the brakes.

15:51Smart move, but he needs to make the tag.

18:13The Halloween Havoc this year will take place on Sunday, October 27th at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
18:20Exclusively on pay-per-view.
18:22May I just point out that the eyes of the sporting world will be centered on Halloween Havoc.
18:28Because the match that the wrestling fans have demanded has been signed.
18:32It will be a World Heavyweight Championship match.
18:35Hitting the WCW champion, Lex Luger, against three-times All-American, Ron Simmons.
18:42Now, Ron Simmons has got something in his favor, in my opinion.
18:47And that is the fact that this match will be two out of three falls.
18:51That's correct.
18:52Two out of three falls.
18:53A one-hour time limit.
18:56The signing took place recently at the Clash of Champions.
18:59Ron Simmons has some added fire in his soul right now, after what happened during the signing.
19:05Let's go back in time to the Clash of Champions.

19:10And because of the kind of man you are, you'll always have a position with me.

20:23this match will be two out of three falls with a one-hour time limit.
20:28Now then, another most unusual event will take place at Halloween Havoc.
20:33And that's an eight-man Chamber of Horrors match.
20:37You heard me right.
20:38And I'll tell you something.
20:39I've never seen one in my career in professional wrestling.
20:42This is a first.
20:43And it will be eight men in a steel cage, but it's a cage of horrors.

24:20can even that combination counter two giants like Oz and the Diamond Studs?
24:27They certainly can if they mat-wrestle them.
24:29If they don't get into a power match situation,
24:31they could win this match.
24:34But I think it'll be via wrestling and quickness,
24:37not in a power match mode.
24:39I mean, Josh, just by his first name, Big, is a big man.
24:43And he looks like a midget compared to Oz.
24:47Maybe we should call him Big, Big, Big Oz.
24:59Collar and elbow tie-up, and Oz quickly breaking the rule.
25:05Three fists right in a row there.
25:09Forcing Big Josh back in the corner.
25:13Trying to manhandle the lockable outdoorsman.
25:16Hammering away downstairs.
25:20And Big Josh up on the back of Oz.

26:53I don't know if that was a good maneuver by the Z-Man.
26:56He just embarrassed the Diamond Stud.
26:58And the Stud has a short feud, shorter than Big Josh's.
27:01You don't want to get him mad.

27:07Oz back in.
27:08We'll be telling you more about the Bruise Cruise a little bit later in this segment.
