00:00Quite so good in R&A but six points yesterday and Renaud, Maxime Renaud will be looking for a big performance here this afternoon. Not much longer to wait for MXGP for race one.
00:17And the line-up pretty much there now. Everybody's come forward. That inside line, keep an eye out there. 15-second board is up.
00:36Terrific race in MX2. What are we going to be in for in MXGP last weekend? What a fight between Coonan and Fevra. Will we see it again here in Germany in Teuschenthal?
00:49Eyes down. Rebs are up. Gates down. Clutches out. Charge down there under the first turn. It's Coonan. Coonan makes it. He gets the foxhole shot comfortably.
01:02He's in fabulous form. Pansar's there as well. Looks like Hurling's as well. Almost a repeat of the qualifying race yesterday. Fevra around the inside.
01:13He's in fourth place trying to make his presence felt early doors. But Lucas Coonan. He's away. Hurling's in the second place.
01:23Oh! Fernandes is down. Overjumping. Landing heavily. Big mistake early on for Fernandes. That's disappointing.
01:35Meanwhile. First lap. Lucas Coonan is away. Got Jeffrey Hurling's in second place. Fevra's made his way into third.
01:45But Coonan once again has thrown the gauntlet down to everybody. And his nearest rival Fevra back in third. Good to see Fernandes up. That was a heavy fall. Just overjumped.
01:59We've got Koldenov down. The man in fourth in the championship. Didn't score yesterday in the qualifying race.
02:08Koldenov who was in seventh place will be slipping down the order. Disappointment for Glenn Koldenov.
02:14Koldenov. So it's Coonan, Hurling's, Fevra, Volandran in fourth. Isaac Gifting there. Going well in fifth.
02:23Siwa on the Ducati sixth. Jonas on the Quacker on seventh. Pansala slipped down to eighth. Renault ninth.
02:31Let's just see this again. He just didn't quite go far enough. Just came up short.
02:40The majority of the riders actually not trying to do that triple jump. And it went horribly wrong.
02:47Here comes Fevra. Hurling's there in second place. Trevor is pushing on. Wants to make his move early doors.
02:54Coonan's there as well. This is going to be a fabulous MXGP race. It's building up beautifully.
02:59Hurling doors. But there's no doubt that Roman Fevra with a 45 point lead coming into this weekend.
03:09I want to see Lucas Coonan pulling away.
03:14Koldenov in trouble. Just checking over. Big ram from behind as well.
03:21Like Maxime Renault cutting the corner a little bit, getting out of the way.
03:25But Jeffrey Hurling looking good in second place. Coonan not too far in front. First three. Pretty close.
03:34And Andrew having a good run in fourth place. He's not too far behind.
03:37Isaac Gifting. The Swedish rider once again on that JK Yamaha racing team bike. Doing a sturdy job.
03:43But Fevra who rode. I think that was a really emotional win. You could see his reaction after winning the second race and winning overall with 47 points last weekend.
03:55Last weekend really did mean the world to him in front of his home crowd. Special scenes, special moments.
04:01Fevra.
04:06Second, third and fourth. We're focusing on nothing to choose between them. Coonan with a 1.7 second lead.
04:16It's very early. We're into lap two.
04:19Fevra.
04:21He's been in fabulous form.
04:23Erlinks has been improving of Lake. Still seems to run out of a little bit of steam.
04:29But, oh, Fevra. Looked like Fevra made a mistake.
04:33Just when it would all go silky smooth.
04:35Just got it wrong coming out of the left-hander before the Liquid Molly mountain jump.
04:42And he almost certainly is going to drop down the order.
04:46He has indeed.
04:50I'm quite sure where he's going to rejoin.
04:53But Valandrin has come into third place.
04:57That's disappointing for Roman Fevra.
05:00Yeah, he's dropped down into fifth place.
05:01So he's got to do all the hard yards once again.
05:05Coonan out in front, who has been complaining of arm pump.
05:10When he has rectified those issues.
05:12He was saying he doesn't really understand why.
05:15And Fevra.
05:17Just a small mistake.
05:20There it is.
05:22Just getting it slightly wrong in that rut.
05:24Pops out of the rut.
05:26Drops a couple of places.
05:27And he's got it all to do it again.
05:29To get the better of gifting Valandrin.
05:31He's got it all to do it again.
05:32To get the better of gifting Valandrin.
05:33Going to land in front, being chased hard by Geoffrey Hurlings, nothing to choose between
05:58those two, remain the same for the last level two, early duels, the only good news for over
06:04February that that little mistake became early in the race at this time on his side to be
06:09able to battle back, he's not that far behind these two, Geoffrey Hurlings is really keeping
06:15Lucas Coonan honest here, Coonan will not be able to relax at all, we see the accident
06:24again from Ruben Fernandes, nasty moment, fortunately for him he doesn't get written over but that
06:31was a very untidy moment for him, he's now, or is he, is he, doesn't appear he's struggling,
06:38well that's such a shame because Ruben Fernandes has been in good form in the last two or three
06:43Grand Prix's, just over jumping, does appear that he is feeling the effects of that crash
06:49in the opening lap, it doesn't appear that his race is over, well HRC, Honda and the MXGP
06:56not having any luck with their riders, but Tim Geiser out, having had surgery on his shoulder,
07:02though he is working hard to come back, but Fernandes out of MXGP, race number one here at
07:09Toysetal Germany, Coonan, being chased hard by, er, Geoffrey Hurlings, you see Hurlings in the
07:30season, I think the action, he's coming to the weekend in 11th place at 172 points,
07:37half way through the series, I'm gonna say, I'm sure he's desperate to try and, er, win a
07:44Grand Prix in the not too distant future, and his fitness and his race pace is beginning to
07:49return, good to see, he went out in front but there's very little to choose, just over a
07:55half way through it.
07:56And Vellandrin having, er, possibly his best race of the season, Vellandrin in, er, third
08:02place, we haven't seen him in, er, this position this season, struggled at, er, the early part
08:08of the year in the first few Grand Prix's, but here, Toysetal in, er, the first race, this
08:14is encouraging signs.
08:15Jeremy, we've just seen Calvin Vellandrin take full advantage of Fevre's mistake, but
08:19Fevre is recovering, is he gonna be able to hold on to that third position?
08:23Yeah, you know, uh, Calvin already on, er, Saturday morning, it was really fast, it was really
08:30smooth also, so, now we take a North best start, yeah, for sure, er, er, Fevre do one small
08:36mistake, but, er, you see, er, on the lap sign, er, Calvin, he was the best now, so, I hope
08:43he can follow for these two riders, er, like, er, Coenen and, er, Erlings, and, er, we see what
08:50happens.
08:51Maxime, currently down in ninth, just having a tough time of it at the moment, it seems.
08:56Yeah, Maxime, you know, now we need on Helmick GP, need really good staff, so, it's really
09:03difficult to, er, to fight with the best rider, if you, if you start a little bit, er, on the
09:09back, so, er, you know, he's a fighter, so, I want, we hope, he can fight until the end
09:14from the race, and to do the best we can.
09:17Good luck to the team, thank you.
09:19Calvin Van Anderen having a smashing run here.
09:22Number ten, Monster Energy Yamaha, best race of the season so far for, for him.
09:29Lachman, never closing on though.
09:32And the first four are all within striking distance.
09:38Erlings has closed right back in on, er, Lucas Coenen.
09:43Look at Erlings, Erlings really has, er, having a go.
09:47Fancies the opportunity to try and get to the front.
09:50Coenen riding calmly in front.
09:52I just wonder whether he is suffering with a, a little bit of arm pump again.
09:57Still managing to win in races, er, despite the fact that he's had that, er, that problem.
10:03The first, second, third and fourth.
10:06Nothing to choose between them.
10:08There were twenty minutes to go, plus two laps.
10:12There's a lot of racing to come in the first MXGP race here in Toysital.
10:17This is building up really nicely.
10:30Coenen electing to go to the inside.
10:32Here comes Erlings.
10:34Coenen holding, er, good pace as well.
10:37Hasn't faded at all.
10:38His confidence has, must have been low at times this year.
10:41Really hasn't had the success.
10:43And the results of, er, the team, or he, personally, have been looking for.
10:48But, this is much more like it from him.
10:51He'll be pleased with this.
10:53Fevre is lurking in fourth place.
10:55And, er, he's got, er, great energy, great stamina, a lot of experience, of course.
11:00Thirty-three years of age now, the Frenchman.
11:03With, er, Coenen out in front.
11:06He'll be more than aware that he needs to try and make more progress if he can.
11:11Keep the mistakes out of it.
11:13Coenen's in front, but it's tight. There's nothing there.
11:18If he makes half a mistake, Erlings will be right there, breathing down his neck.
11:26The order remains the same.
11:27Gifting back in fifth place.
11:28Siwa has made good progress.
11:29He's in sixth.
11:30Giannis, er, is in seventh.
11:32Penso having a good run in eighth.
11:34Maxim Rouleau is in ninth.
11:36And, er, Brian Bogus on the Factory Fantic in tenth place.
11:40And Donny, he's in eleventh.
11:43Pretty good showing form here.
11:45And then, er, we've got Geertz.
11:48Tom Koch, the German rider on the, er, on the Beta, the MRT Racing Beta.
11:53He's in fifteenth place.
11:55Boenen, Herlings, Ferlandrin, Fevre.
12:05Locked together.
12:06Charging on.
12:08Boenen under pressure because Herlings just biding his time.
12:14You have to be aware because Ferlandrin is not far away.
12:21He'll be, er, very keen to snatch second place away from Herlings if it's all possible.
12:27But they're all just holding station for the moment.
12:31Mid-race.
12:32Oh, Ferlandrin would have been a mistake.
12:34Will Ferrandrin be able to take advantage?
12:36No, not quite.
12:38So, half a mistake.
12:40This track is tricky.
12:41And it's demanding.
12:43You need to, er, we saw that with Ferrandrin.
12:46It's very easy to make a small mistake and it costs you dearly.
12:49You can see it there just.
12:53That's awkward.
12:55In front of the bike, just getting off line.
12:57Fevre now.
12:58Looking very keen to try and get the better of Verlandrin.
13:01Can he do it?
13:02Can he move into third place?
13:04Where he was, of course, before he made the mistake to slip back to fifth.
13:09Not quite yet.
13:13Wave section riders happen to work really hard.
13:19Track drying out.
13:20Warm day.
13:21Humid day.
13:22But, er, for the fans, a really good race here beginning to, er, build up.
13:28With the top four.
13:30Nothing in it.
13:31Effectively.
13:32Lucas Koenig going along very nicely.
13:47Being chased hard by Jeffrey Herlings.
13:49Less than a second between the front two.
13:51Jeffrey Herlings coming along nicely in second place.
14:06Andra just slipped back a touch.
14:08So that, er, very familiar style from Jeffrey Herlings.
14:13We're beginning to see more and more of it.
14:16Just a shame that, er, he had the injury in the wintertime.
14:19Could have been very different if he'd been fully fit at the beginning of the year.
14:23But Herlings, the bullet, is back.
14:25And he's beginning to really put pressure on Lucas Koenig in front.
14:29Will we see a change for the lead?
14:31It's looking likely.
14:33The rookie out in front.
14:36He's having a sensational season in the senior class.
14:39You've got to say that.
14:40Ah, Pansar's out.
14:41That's a shame.
14:42It went so well yesterday in the qualifying.
14:47He was right up there initially, but, er, it's, er, disappointing for Jan Pansar.
14:55On his KTM.
15:00He, er, really frustrated with that.
15:04No change.
15:05Fevera is close right back in on Calvin Verlanderen.
15:08But, er, the distance, er, between first and fourth, pretty much the same.
15:14Just sense there will be a change, though.
15:18With, er, over 15 minutes and two laps to go.
15:22Even see Fevera get into the front, in some ways.
15:26So, we will see.
15:28Well, they're, er, just marking time.
15:33Conserving a little bit of energy to try and have a real push in the latter stages.
15:39But, er, once again, he's showing terrific form on the Dutchman.
15:42He's got all the pressure.
15:44He's having to take all the pressure with, er, riders of, er, the stature of Hurlings and Fevera behind him.
15:51Five-time world champion, of course, Hurlings.
15:54A little bit more, a little bit more injuries certainly held him back.
15:59As it has again this season.
16:01But, er, fair play to him.
16:02He's worked awfully hard.
16:03Er, once again, showing terrific form on the Dutchman.
16:08Coonan on the inside.
16:12Hurlings never been closer down pit lane.
16:16This is a real battle in front.
16:18And Hurlings is looking really threatening.
16:21Coonan possibly just suffering out in front.
16:25And Jeffrey Herlings are panicking, taking his time, waiting for the moment to pounce.
16:32But Andru and Alfebvre are not too far away either.
16:35So again, the top four absolutely locked together, putting on a fantastic display.
16:41Racing here in Germany this afternoon is just fabulous.
16:55It's a gnarly run on the inside with really stuttery hard bumps underneath the ground.
17:03It's rock hard with the top pressing.
17:06Frank's drying out more and more.
17:13Andru and Alfebvre, who was truly outstanding seven days ago, was a triple hitter.
17:20It's an intense period, as Lisa was saying, before the race.
17:25It's interesting to hear the comments from Jeremy Seawer about how you need to rest,
17:30and how you need to keep yourself fresh, not overdo it.
17:35You are racing every weekend at the highest level.
17:40Programme, slight, fit and healthy, hugely important.
17:43Lucas Koenig, Nikkari looking on.
17:49Koenig has done well.
17:50He came under a massive amount of pressure just a lap or two ago from Herlings.
17:54But he's re-established a little bit more of a lead.
17:57Febbrough beginning to really wind it on.
17:59Trying to find a way past Calvin Valendran.
18:02That's building up.
18:03As Febbrough now just decided, this is the moment when I've really got to make my move.
18:09Over halfway through the first MXGP race here.
18:12And he wants more.
18:13He wants to get into the top three.
18:15The first two, it remains the same.
18:37Herlings giving chase.
18:38Koenig out in front.
18:54Doing a really good job.
18:56He's riding with maturity way beyond his years.
18:59I mean, he's only 18.
19:01Rookie in the club.
19:02Dirk Grubel, we have Jeffrey Herlings currently in second.
19:06He's looking like he's ready to pounce.
19:08And he may have something up his sleeve.
19:10But he needs this race win, doesn't he?
19:13Yeah, I mean, it's a tight pack up front there.
19:16And Jeffrey's position is not that easy.
19:18Of course, he won't attack Lucas.
19:20But on the other side, he needs to defend his position a bit towards Flander.
19:24It's not an easy track to pass.
19:27So for sure, he's going to try everything he's capable of.
19:30And hopefully, he finds his way around soon.
19:33Two Red Bull KTM riders at the head of the field with Lucas and Jeffrey.
19:36Same team, but do they have the same bikes?
19:39Well, basically, yes.
19:41But everybody has his partner's head up a bit, you know.
19:44I mean, Jeffrey is a bit older and prefers a little bit of different setup than Lucas,
19:49who's a youngster and coming and really in his prime at the moment.
19:52So, but, yeah, they're equal.
19:55Just we need to use it.
19:57Best luck to the team.
20:01Same bikes, different setups.
20:05Kunin out in front, Jeffrey Hurlings.
20:09He's 30 years of age now.
20:12Riding nicely.
20:14As you heard there, not an easy situation.
20:17If he starts going too much, then you find too many different lines.
20:22He'll leave himself vulnerable to Valandria behind, who will pounce.
20:27But there's no doubt that Jeffrey Hurlings is hungry for a win here in 2025.
20:33We've seen him up the front periods in the last few Grand Prix's,
20:36but he's run out of steam and has effectively allowed riders to come by.
20:40But so far, 10 minutes plus two laps to go.
20:44There's no sign of that at this stage.
20:48Fever, trying to get once again on Calvin Verlander and trying to make his move,
20:53trying to get into third place.
20:55It's a little bit frustrating as a rider when you feel you can go quicker.
20:58But if you want to get a little bit of extra pace to get into the next position,
21:05it must be a little bit frustrating as a rider when you feel you can go quicker.
21:09But if you move or fly, you're going to actually lose time.
21:15Curter around the inside.
21:16Jeffrey Hurlings around the outside trying to get a little bit of extra pace.
21:21Will it work out?
21:22Not quite.
21:23Curter riding a good line.
21:24Hold it firm.
21:25And then there's no line for a-line to get into the next position.
21:27It's a little bit frustrating as a rider when you feel you can go quicker.
21:28But if you move or fly, you're going to actually lose time.
21:31Curter around the inside.
21:32Jeffrey Hurlings around the outside trying to get a little bit of extra pace.
21:35White and I'm riding a good line, holding firm. Hasn't really made any mistakes at all.
21:57It's going out and out in front for first and second.
22:00Kevin, Van Anderen and Romain Febvre. A similar type of battle for third and fourth.
22:07Championship leader back in fourth. The man who's closest to him is leading the race.
22:12Will just chip away at the lead once again if it remains this way.
22:17Febvre will be more than aware of that, of course. His pit board and he can see Koonan.
22:22He's not that far away. Just over eight minutes plus two laps to go
22:27and Koonan has ridden strongly in front.
22:30Febvre and Calvin Van Anderen, they're all a little bit closer now.
22:34Febvre again. It's so awkward. He just tried to find a way past Van Anderen.
22:40But at this stage, he's having to follow him. He's trying an inside line there.
22:45Hasn't quite worked. But you can sense there's a touch of frustration with Febvre in particular
22:51because he feels he's got the speed and the pace to actually get to the front.
22:57But actually getting there is really challenging here in Toyshetal this afternoon.
23:09He's trying to find a little bit untidy but once again. Just not being able to find the drive
23:15and find a little bit of extra to get the better of the Monster Energy Yamaha Radu
23:19who's riding strongly. Gotta give him credit. Inside line. Does it work out? Can he get there?
23:24Just out of the rut. The rut's a bit awkward. Doesn't quite manage to do so. Closed in. He's trying everything.
23:30Really is trying everything. Putting tear offs. Eating dirt. Desperate to get in the third place.
23:37Fabulous racing. Roman Febvre the championship leader. Trying to get in the third.
23:42Jeffrey Herlings. The former champion. Back from injury. Coming at the rookie in front of him.
23:48This is a race. Really beginning to build up. Seven minutes plus two to go. How's it gonna work out?
23:55Febvre. Trying down the inside. Van Anderen slams the door shut. Febvre again.
24:07He's working overtime.
24:18It's close. Really close.
24:25few and a half half left and the third.
24:27few and a half left hut.
24:32CoCS and Gerl прим.
24:33Pwnessе revoil.
24:35Co tegen Real Madrid.
24:37From 4 stronger squared.
24:41Coよね.
24:43To arrive there.
24:44Coe doncs.
24:47This is a number of these patients.
24:49Coon and S logic.
24:50Fox hole shot comfortably fabulous start from by the young man
24:55And it's written maturely composed in front
24:59The Jeffrey her legs is just lurking there throughout
25:04Find a little bit more and he might well be through
25:08but
25:09So easy to lose ground if you suck this like experimenting with your lines those riders
25:15Using the same run through that left-hander Fever this time really close to Calvin Gallandrin
25:21Desperate to get into third place elected to run out and winding it on
25:26Not quite
25:29Gallandrin on the inside Fever around the outside and can't just block past down pin-lane
25:35Hurlings is close a battle for first and second and third and fourth
25:45There's no change
25:50Just shows you how tough it is to pass really is challenging
25:55Lap after lap after lap Fever is there does appear he's got more place he's clearly got more place
26:01Sense that if he could have got the better of a land run he may would have got to hurlings, but
26:06The clock is beginning to tick down. We're on lap 14
26:10Needs to make his move pretty soon if he can
26:13There's an opportunity for a top-two if you if he can do it
26:30What happens here once again
26:32Just let it in untidy it shows you how hard they're working
26:38So on this track
26:40It's pretty brutal
26:41Unforgiving
26:43Just got to apply the pressure
26:46The strike when the moment comes
26:49Here we go
26:50Flora again looking good
26:52Volandrin just made half a mistake he goes wide
26:54No, not quite there
26:56Now once again Volandrin holding Ferb
26:58Cunnan a little bit further away from Hurlitz
27:01Hurlings was quite alongside it momentarily
27:03One point two seconds of the lead
27:05Nothing to choose between Ferb
27:08Look at that from Fever
27:09Fever trying to get up the inside
27:10Can he get the drive?
27:11Not quite
27:12Volandrin
27:13Under immense pressure
27:14The Frenchman round the outside
27:16He's a bit untidy
27:17He's giving it everything
27:18But Volandrin holds firm
27:20Now to the outside
27:21Volandrin got the shorter distance
27:23Down pin lane again
27:29Oh, take your eyes off of it
27:30Fever is so, so keen to get into third place
27:34But he can't quite manage to do it
27:39Erlings has closed in again on Cunnan
27:53With the city tabletop
27:55Dropping into the left-hander
27:58Monster Energy job
27:59Dropping down
28:03To using all the brakes into the sharp line-hander
28:06Before the wave section back uphill
28:08Pretty much the same lines there
28:10To the inside
28:23Quite working out
28:24I'm going to give Volandrin now
28:25A lot of credit here
28:26Actually the front two have pulled away a touch
28:31The back markers as well
28:33The markers are just pulling over
28:34That's good news
28:35For giving an ad for Hurlings
28:3715
28:41The links
28:42Remaining
28:43Right on the pace
28:46Draw three or two ago
28:48Possibly would have seen him begin to fade at this stage
28:51But the stamina
28:52And the fitness is
28:53Er
28:54Appears to be returning
29:02Geoffrey Hurling's just
29:04Er
29:05Turning his head to one side
29:06Maxine Renaud getting in the better of Isaac Gifting
29:12Does he?
29:13Yes he does
29:14Oh
29:15What an unfortunate for Gifting
29:16He just clips the back of
29:19Er
29:20Renaud
29:21Er slips off the side
29:23That mark is in the way of Cunnan
29:24That's allowed Hurlings to close in once more
29:27The taking is an absolute premium
29:28On this towncastle track
29:29It really is
29:30To lap 16
29:31Just over a minute to go
29:32Plus two more laps
29:33Will we see a change?
29:34Pressure building
29:35We've been building for a long time
29:36Front two have moved away from Calvin
29:38Berlendrin
29:39That lead between 2nd and 3rd has stretched the touch
29:48Federer
29:49Federer
29:50Just fell back a little bit from Calvin
29:51Berlendrin
29:52Looks like he may have made a mistake
29:54He's not as close as he once was
29:55He has slipped over a second behind him
29:56Possibly got caught by a back marker
29:57We didn't quite see what happened
29:58You can see the blue flags are being waved for the back markers to be aware that the leaders are coming
30:05And they're coming at a rapid pace
30:08Kunnan's out in front
30:09He's pulled away a touch
30:10He's look at the front
30:11He's not a touch
30:12He's looking at the front
30:13He is looking at the front
30:14He's looking at the front
30:16He's looking at the front
30:17He's looking at the front
30:18And although they've got a goal
30:19And they've got to keep the front
30:21They've got to be really out
30:22And they're turning
30:23This time
30:24We're looking at the front
30:25Kunis out in front and he's pulled away a touch. He's looking good
30:34Jeffrey Hurling's having a smashing race here
30:37He's been close to get it to the front but Lucas Kunis has just found a little bit of pace there
30:42Just to pull away nearly a two-second lead Rolandrin has dropped back
30:47a touch in third place and Fevre certainly was out of the picture a little bit
30:52Possibly a small mistake or a back marker just
30:57Haunting his progress for a moment
31:01So with three laps to go Lucas Kunis has ridden a fabulous race in front under immense pressure from a huge rider behind him
31:11The rookie and the veteran has been going at it throughout here in MXGP race number one
31:21It has looked like that Lucas Kunis has got enough here
31:25His pace has remained solid throughout
31:30Hasn't made the mistakes, doesn't want to make one now
31:35Look at what's going in here
31:40Hurling's just missing the run momentarily
31:43That just gives a little bit of breathing space to Lucas Kunis
31:46Which he'll be grateful for of course
31:51He's looking good for another win and Lucas Kunis
31:53His performance is in the MXGP
31:56It's a bit wild early on he had a few big crashes
31:59But in recent times he really is getting it together
32:03There's no doubt that Lucas Kunis will be closing in on the lead once again
32:07And chipping away at the 45 point lead that Roman Febvre had coming into Toyshetel this weekend
32:20Calvin Verlandrin doing a great job
32:23Best result on the cards of the season for the Dutchman on the Monster Energy Yamaha
32:28Roman Febvre who must have had a problem who slipped back
32:31Is there time for him to make his move?
32:33I would suggest not awfully difficult to overtake now
32:36It looks like it could well be fourth place
32:39For the championship leader
32:41Paul Giannis is out of the race that's a shame
32:43We can't see where the rider is but the mechanic has got the bike
32:46Disappointment for the teammates of Roman Febvre and the Kawasaki Racing Team
32:56Back across the star and finish line
32:59Roman Febvre looked like he might have been able to snatch third place here in this
33:03First race this afternoon it's not looking likely now
33:09Into the final lap
33:14Jeffrey Herding's a producer of minor miracle and get the better of Lucas Kunis on this final lap
33:19He won't want to throw away the 22 points though
33:22It's been a really good race possibly his best race of the season so far for the Dutchman
33:27Number 84 great to see him back towards the front again
33:32Really is a fan favorite Jeffrey Herding's the way he goes about his business
33:36But Lucas Kunis is first emerging as a serious championship threat there's no question about that
33:42Lucas Kunis keeping it all together the lead is just over a second
33:57It does look like that Kunis will pick up the race victory here barring any
34:02Unforced error he looks like he's ridden an absolutely impeccable race under a terrific amount of pressure
34:09Throughout nothing to choose between the two
34:12But the youngster in front just hasn't put a foot wrong
34:15And that is to his credit you've got to say
34:18And there's no doubt as they go up and over the liquid molly mountain for the last time
34:25Lucas Kunis has ridden supremely well in front
34:31And he's held it all together hurling has applied the pressure throughout
34:35Still there lurking any mistake and jeffrey hurlings will be true
34:40But it does appear that Lucas Kunis is going to hang on here
34:48Down the pit lane
34:50For the last time in the first race here this afternoon
34:54And Lucas Kunis
34:56Comes across the line he wins he picks up another race win that's a terrific ride
35:02Got to give him a lot of credit
35:04It's the result we saw yesterday in the qualifying race
35:07Calvin Belandrin coming through in third place his best result of the season so far
35:13There's Jeremy Siwa on the factory Ducati
35:19He's coming towards the end of the race
35:22The fast starting swiss rider on the new bike
35:27For his new team this year riders coming through
35:33To complete their first race in MXGP
35:37A terrific
35:42Terrific ride for Lucas Kunis now in front 25 points for him
35:45He'll be absolutely delighted closing in on the leader
35:49There's Kunis out in front hurling second for Landrum third
35:53Pepra finishes in fourth place Siwa in fifth
35:57Terrific performance from him
36:07The riders coming through we'll hear from Lucas Kunis
36:12It'll be interesting to see if he suffered with arm pump this time
36:14It's something that he has
36:16Had a problem with in the last weekend and yesterday he mentioned it
36:20But irrespective that was a terrific ride
36:24Tom Kok the German rider finishes in 14th place
36:27Decent effort for the beta rider the MRT racing beta rider
36:32Watson down in 21st he'll be frustrated with that
36:38And Watson has been going
36:40Not quite nicely in recent times
36:46So there's no doubt that Lucas Kunis with this
36:49Relentless charges on he is scoring point
36:52And one of the two last weekend starts off with a win here in Teuschenthal
36:58In Germany in round number 10
37:00He is the man that there's no doubt
37:03But he must be beginning to believe that he can be world champion
37:07Lucas Kunis
37:12Congratulations you took the foxhole shot you turned it into another race win
37:16But Jeffrey was really pushing you hard
37:19Yeah I was waiting for this moment like to see how Jeffrey is behind you
37:22But I mean he's pushing around here is really fast already in the past
37:26I was not born yet I think since he was racing here so
37:29Yeah it's really nice to win in front of him
37:31We get try to get another good start but this model was fun and we pushed till the end
37:35And I guess I got a little bit of the beast mode but I mean I think second model will make a big battle
37:42Good luck for the second race
37:45Brilliant ride from Lucas Kunis under immense pressure from Jeffrey Hurlings held firm
37:51Held his composure and picks up the big 25 points
37:56What a season he's enjoying
37:58What questions asked about whether he should have been pushed up into the senior class this year
38:04But he's gelled with that bike
