Up to 33 areas across the country may experience a dangerous heat index on Monday, June 2, with the highest possibly reaching 46°C, based on the latest forecast from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

00:12Highest heat index sa buong bansa ay posibleng umabot ng 46 degrees Celsius
00:18dito sa area ng Echage sa May Isabela.
00:22So inaasan nga natin, so makikita natin dito sa ating heat index forecast map
00:26mostly itong eastern section ng Luzon as well as Visayas at Mindanao.
00:31Makakaranas pa rin ng danger levels of heat index ngayong araw.
00:34Yung dahilan dito ay hindi po umabot yung southwest monsoon over these areas
00:37or hindi magdudulot ng sustained na kaulapan ang habagat dito nga sa eastern section ng Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao.
00:44So pag walang kaulapan, posibleng tayong mas makaranas ng mainit at malinsang panahon.
00:49Kaya patuloy tayong uminom ng maraming tubig, stay hydrated po tayo
00:52especially sa ating mga kababayan na senior citizen
00:55o yung may mga existing medical conditions
00:58para maiwasan yung panganib ng heat stroke.
