00:00Good morning po ulit sa lahat. So currently we have two weather systems affecting the country.

00:09So meron po tayong ITCC or yung ITCC po natin nakaka-affecto siya sa southern portion of Mindanao.

00:16And in the next 24 hours, it's expected to cause cloudy skies po with possible rain showers sa

00:24Sambuanga, Del Sur, Sambuanga, Cebu Gay, dito sa Davo Oriental, Davo Occidental, Sarangani or the province of Sarangani,

00:33Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi. So mostly dito talaga sa southern portion ng Mindanao area.

00:39But the rest of Mindanao, possible din po yung mga isolated na mga pag-ulan due to intertropical conversion zone.

00:46But mostly IPCC or partly cloudy to cloudy po or bagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap yung magiging

00:53kalagayan po ng ating papaurin sa natitirang bahagi ng Mindanao.

00:57For Luzon and Visayas, mostly halos ano po talaga malinis yung papaurin, yung kalangitan natin halos malinis yung ating

01:08nakikitang satellite imagery. Wala tayong gaanong inaasahang mga pag-ulan.

01:13Widespread na pag-ulan, less likely po yun. And humid condition, warm and humid condition talaga po yung ating

01:20in-expect over the next 24 hours. Halos wala rin po tayong mga localized thunderstorms,

01:27maliban sa mga very isolated cases. So so far, yun po Easterlies and IPCC, yung dalawang weather system that's

01:35prevailing in the country. For the sea condition, wala rin po tayong gilwari na nakataas sa anong bahagi

01:43ng ating baybayang dagat. 0.6 to 1.8 meters yung ating estimate na wave height natin all throughout

01:51the archipelago. So in a way, I slide to moderate po ito o banayan hanggang sa katamtaman yung magiging

01:58pag-alo na kundusyon ng karagatan. So isama lang din po natin yung updated na computed and

02:06daily heat indices for Metro Manila and other stations po natin. So starting with Metro Manila

02:20index from 40 to 41 degrees Celsius. Nasa extreme caution level po yan. So halos dyan po talaga

02:27siya nag-stay sa extreme caution level. And sa forecasting natin for today and for tomorrow,

02:36from 40 to 41 degrees Celsius pa rin po yung range na in-expect natin na heat index or init factor.

02:43So possible yung heat exhaustion and yung mga heat stress kapag babad po sa ganitong

02:50klaseng init ng panahon o ganitong kataas na heat index. Then for the past two days, yung

02:59number of stations na nakapagtala ng heat index na nasa danger level ay 22 stations for

03:09April 21 and 25 stations for April 22. And for today, we're expecting na posible kung

03:15pumabot pa rin si 25 stations yung mga lugar na pwedeng makapagtala ng nasa danger level

03:21na heat index. For tomorrow ay 24 stations naman. And we will be showing you the stations

03:28in the next slide. For today, in Salawag, Dagupan, City, Pangasinan, Batak, Ilocs, Norte,

03:38Baknotan, La Union, Calayan, Cagayan, Apari, Cagayan, Tugigaraw, City, Cagayan, Ichage, Isabela,

03:45Baler, Aurora, Kasiguron, Aurora, Iba, Sambales, Clark Airport, Pambanga, Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, Subic Point,

03:53Olongka, Pusito, San Idelfonso, Bulacan, and also yung Kamiling Tarlac. Then kasama po

04:00dyan yung Cavite, Sanlipoint, Cavite, Pala, Ambulong, Tanawan, Batangas, San Jose, Occidental,

04:09Mindoro, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and Ligaspi City, Albay, Masbate City, or Masbate City,

04:17Masbate. Then sa Pilica, Marina, Sur, and also yung Panglaw, Bohol. So, the stations that I

04:27mentioned expected the day or nasa forecast na pwedeng umabot sa danger level yung kanilang heat

04:34indices meaning to say yung heat exhaustion and heat cramps and heat stress is very possible

04:41po yan. At kapag tuloy-tuloy yung exposure po sa ganitong klaseng init, pwede pong mauwi

04:47yan sa heat stroke. Kaya pinag-iingat po natin yung ating mga kababayan as much as

04:52possible. Iwasan po muna yung direct exposure sa sunlight especially sa katangalihan at early

04:58afternoon. Iwasan po muna yung long exposure sa labas dahil generally mainit po talaga

05:04especially sa labas. And hanggat maari ay uminom po ng wastong bilang ng tubig

05:11araw-araw para maiwasan po yung dehydration. So, for tomorrow, again, we have 24 stations

05:17din na pwede pong makapagtala ng mga nasa danger level na heat index.

05:23Para naman po sa ating outlook of our weather outlook in the next five days. So, today,

05:29as I mentioned, due to the intertropical convergence zone, possible po ang moderate

05:33to times heavy rays over some provinces of Mindanao, particularly the southern provinces.

05:39And then, hot and humid condition pa rin naman ang mararanasan sa natitirang bahagi

05:45ng bansa.

05:46Then, for Thursday and to Friday, yung ITCSA po will continue to affect the southern parts

05:51of Mindanao. Mostly, yung basilang, sulu, and tawi-tawi na mga provinces yung nasa barm po.

05:59And the rest ay mainly po easterlies na po ang mga ka-apekto and hot and humid condition pa rin.

06:05By Saturday to Sunday, possible po yung easterly wave or the intertropical convergence zone na magpaulan

06:11sa ilang portions ng Minanaw, sa eastern portions ng Minanaw by Sunday po yan.

06:16So, higher chances of thunderstorms can also occur due to easterlies over the southern Luzon

06:23and Visayas.

06:25So, far, yan lang po muna yung ating weather update and weather outlook also in the next

06:30five days.

06:32Generally, no significant rainfall is expected within the next two to three days.

06:38Scattered rains are also possible over most parts of Mindanao over the remaining forecast period.

06:44So, as we mentioned, kaya hindi po siya significant rainfall kasi hindi yung mga natatala din

06:51nating rainfall so far sa Mindanao is mga light rains line, light to moderate rains.

06:56So, generally, maula po siya then may chances pa rin po ng mga pagulan, mga light rains.
