00:07dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball shout out I love that movie he has run 15 times in his career

00:13he's won 12 of them and he's finished second in another so 13 of the 15 races he's run first or

00:20second the two times he didn't run in the top two were races that were followed by long layoffs

00:27so they were likely races where he had some kind of an injury or a reason to you know not be racing

00:33he's about as good as they come he shows up every single time and I think he was worth spending a

00:41minute or two on because you just don't see horses that are like this in this day and age that win

00:45this often they know what he's good at sprinting he's great on the synthetic he can win on the turf

00:52too he's just a really cool horse he's so talented he was the 2024 canadian horse of the year at the

00:59sovereign awards his lone blemish was a defeat um in the grade two kennedy road to no balls who just

01:06set a new turf course record at one the breeders cup turf sprint in 2023 so I mean patches a hula hand

01:15is no joke and you do not see very frequently a horse with a morning line of one to nine odds I

01:21mean that is a really really low odds on this horse but deserved I mean he's so so good so you're getting

01:30back 10 cents for every two dollars that you bet you'll get back two dollars and 10 cents for your

01:35two dollars that's just shows you that's what flight line was he's that dominant on paper and what ends up

01:41happening like you wonder why some of these fields are small because the horses that are in his

01:46division they don't want to face him anymore they they're they're sick of it like they've gotten

01:50beat by him over and over the last couple years they'll try other surfaces they'll try other races

01:55or they'll go to other tracks if they're a sprinter on the synthetic and they don't want to have to deal

01:59with you don't want to be the one who's always this reminds me so winks is an incredible horse

02:04in Australia and I always felt so bad for happy clapper because happy clapper was just always second to

02:11winks and it's like when you're so good but you just have one of these you know better horses right

02:18yeah horses in your division it's just a bummer so yeah nobody wants to face him so that's gonna go

02:23as great uh race number one on Saturday the grade three Jacques Cartier I actually kind of like that

02:28they put a race that isn't the best betting race but you're gonna still get to see a really good horse

02:33right off the bat to start things off and then what they do is they put the more competitive races

02:39later in the card like the races that we looked at race eight race nine and then we can move to race

02:4410 which is the bell mahon uh that makes it more challenging when you're putting your your parlays

02:50or your pick fours and your pick fives together when you have races like this where there are a

02:54bunch of different horses you could use so just kind of setting this race up Alexa the one Dana's

03:00beauty is a horse who loves these types of surfaces these synthetic surfaces she's been really good at

03:07turf way where they have synthetic surfaces now she's going to come up to woodbine I think she's

03:12a major player the number two Caitlin her greatness she actually won the king's plate last year so as a

03:19gal she beat the boys in what would be the Canadian Kentucky Derby uh she's got to be considered a major

03:26player in here and then if you go all the way to the outside the number nine fashionably fab she actually

03:31won this race last year off an almost identical pattern she had raced in December and not since

03:39December and then she showed up and won the race off like a six-month layoff so I think those are

03:45three of the major major players in here yeah I mean Caitlin her greatness is last year's champion

03:50three-year-old Philly in Canada following her king's plate triumph makes I mean this is her seasonal

03:55debut she's got some really good workouts four straight bullet work so bullet work is of all

04:02the horses that worked out that morning um who was the fastest uh just some really fast preps coming

04:07into this so if she's ready to roll she can totally dominate in this field the second the gates open

04:12um and then fashionably fab as you mentioned on the outside at five to one a little better odds than

04:18you're getting on Caitlin her greatness at five to one but also a champion the reigning Canadian queen

04:232024 sovereign award winning older female horse um she won this last year I think right so trying to

04:30go back to back and defend her title in here so um she'll need to time things right but has a major

04:36chance in here as well there's just a lot of really good talented horses you can see even on the pace

04:41projector it looks pretty competitive yeah and that's what makes the this late sequence and some of the

04:46late races on Saturday at Woodbine really challenging
