Accessing long-range forecasting with the free AccuWeather app

AccuWeather's Jon Porter shows how you can access long-range forecast to help you plan ahead for weather events weeks in advance. This is useful if you have outdoor events planned in the future.

00:08safer it's the free AccuWeather app and one of the features that customers tell

00:12us they love is our longer range forecasts that go out weeks to months in

00:17advance day by day forecast to help you with better planning I'm going to show

00:21you how to access those today on the free AccuWeather app when you download the

00:24free AccuWeather app this is the main dashboard with AccuWeather's minute

00:28by minute forecast and current conditions and you have various options for

00:32forecasts at the bottom of the screen if I tap on daily I'm going to get my day by

00:37day forecast for the next 15 days here in the free AccuWeather app and notice up

00:44in the upper right hand corner you have the opportunity to select to 90 days in

00:48the premium plus that's the subscription version of the AccuWeather app to unlock

00:53many special features that are part of the premium plus subscription on the

00:58free AccuWeather app that will go out 45 days when you tap that 90 or 45 days up

01:03in the upper right hand corner you're going to get a calendar view and look at

01:07this you could scroll by through the calendar view of the next 45 or 90 days

01:11depending upon the specific version of the AccuWeather app you're in and you

01:15could tap any of these days you got to go down to June 11th here in Chicago the

01:19forecast high temperature the Accu Lumen brightness index wind rain probability all

01:25those daily level details that you love and you could scroll through that each

01:29day we hear many times from customers they love this feature for planning

01:33outdoor events maybe weddings big outdoor concerts that they might be

01:37interested in to give to take a look at the first forecast and then watch how it

01:42evolves as it gets closer to the event another great tool in the free AccuWeather
