03:02Excellencies, we met in July last year at Astana in the trilateral format
03:09and had the most fruitful discussions on issues of mutual interest
03:17and now at this stunningly beautiful venue of Lehchen
03:23we are now eagerly looking forward to take our trilateral partnership to new heights
03:32that would be in consonance with the wishes and desires of our peoples
03:41and this should be no surprise to anyone as Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey
03:49are bound together by deep historical, cultural and spiritual ties
03:56forged through centuries of shared values and mutual support.
04:04My dear brothers, in more recent times this historical relationship has been further strengthened
04:13as we have stood by each other whether it be on Karabakh, Kashmir or northern Turkish Cyprus.
04:27Our strength lies in our solidarity and our mutual respect.
04:35This is but only natural as our peoples too have given us their passionate support
04:44as witness in the outpouring of love and affection in both Turkey and Azerbaijan.
04:53We could not but be mesmerized with the intensity of fervor and enthusiasm of our common citizens
05:05during Pakistan's recent conflict with India
05:10which not only failed to bring up any credible evidence against Pakistan
05:16but also rejected our sincere and generous offer of a neutral, transparent investigation
05:27into the so-called incident at Pahalgam by any international body.
05:35My dear brothers, the world we live in faces numerous grave challenges
05:42including armed conflicts, climate change, diseases and economic crisis.
05:50This is why the three of us have assembled here today opting for compassion while rejecting conflict.
06:00We are confident that patience and wisdom will ultimately usher in peace and prosperity.
06:09In today's unpredictable and volatile world,
06:16political security, architectures, connectivity, alignments and emerging technologies are shaping the new reality.
06:28In such a situation, Pakistan is very fortunate to have sincere brothers like Turkey and Azerbaijan
06:42who have stood together with us as impregnable rocks
06:49and whom we can trust without a second thought, unhesitatingly.
06:58Brothers in arms, forever united in peace, justice and morality.
07:07Dear brothers, I am confident that our time-tested relationship
07:13would not only be beneficial for the well-being of our own people
07:20but also contribute to peace and prosperity in the region and beyond.
07:28This trilateral format is both very timely and of great importance and significance for all of us
07:40as it gives us the necessary political ownership and the impetus to move forward collectively
07:49and in unison in all spheres of our common interest.

08:00for supporting Pakistan in the recent conflict, which was obviously very serious.
08:11It was an aggression from India against Pakistan for no rhyme or reason.

08:39and firm stand during this crisis has earned highest level of appreciation

08:55And we will remain grateful to both of you and the both nations for all time to come.
09:03My statement would be incomplete if I, at this point in time,
09:11did not mention about the role of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir
09:17who led the armed forces of Pakistan, who fought with great bravery
09:24and the highest level of professional acumen
09:30and the entire Pakistani nation standing behind our armed forces and him.
09:36I saw him during those moments, God fearing, fearless, firm
09:43and with an iron resolve, with patience and obviously with fortitude
09:51to face that aggression.
09:54Alhamdulillah, with Allah Almighty's infinite blessings
10:00and kindness and the support of the people of Pakistan
10:04and your support, we were victorious.
10:06We were victorious, but I have said in all humility
10:11that we want peace in the region.
10:15Yesterday we wanted peace, today we want peace and tomorrow we want peace.
10:21And that requires talks on the table on issues which need urgent attention
10:30and amicable resolution.
10:32That is the issue of Kashmir according to the resolutions
10:40of United Nations and Security Council
10:44and as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
10:49Secondly is the water issue.
10:52Unfortunately, my very dear brothers, India tried to weaponize
10:59Indus water treaty which is a lifeline for the people of Pakistan.
11:06240 million people for their agriculture use,
11:13their own use for drinking purposes and many other purposes.
11:19I think this is most unfortunate that India tried to threaten
11:24to stop our flow of water to Pakistan.
11:29This is not possible, this was never possible
11:33and this will not be possible, Inshallah.
11:37We are making proper arrangements to ensure that India never ever does it.
11:44Finally is the question of terrorism.
11:49I have said in all earnest that if India wants to talk on countering terrorism
11:58in sincerity of purpose, Pakistan would be willing to talk to India
12:03on this issue as well.
12:06But this is a fact of life, my very dear brothers,
12:10that we are the biggest victim of terrorism around the globe.
12:13We lost 90,000 people, valuable lives of Pakistan
12:19and we have lost 150 billion dollars worth of economic losses
12:25over the last many decades and there cannot be a bigger commitment
12:32and our intention to beat this menace for all time to come.
12:38And in that, if India wants in all sincerity, honest cooperation,
12:45Pakistan would be willing along with promotion of trade with India.
12:49All these issues need to be discussed on table.
12:53I would be extremely grateful for your support in this behalf
12:58as my very dear brothers and real brothers in fact.
