“The Dentist” is a 1932 American pre-Code comedy short film directed by Leslie Pearce and starring W.C. Fields. The film follows a hot-tempered dentist who terrorizes his patients with unconventional and often painful methods. Meanwhile, his daughter attempts to elope with an ice delivery man, much to his dismay. 08:01My doctor says I have a very bad leg.
08:05Your doctor is off as nuts.
08:08I don't believe in doctors anyway.
08:11There's a doctor who lives right down the street here.
08:13Treated a man for yellow jawless for nine years.
08:16Then found out he was a chap.
08:18You know, a little dog fit me the other day.
08:20Dr. Koolikawa.
08:21He fit me right here.
08:23A dog fit you?
08:24Yes.
08:25He was a little, bad child.
08:26Oh, yeah.
08:27A little, tiny dog.
08:28He sat right up behind me and fit me right like that.
08:31Hmm.
08:32And I was standing with my back to it, and here he was.
08:34This little dog who fit me right here.
08:37You're rather fortunate it wasn't a Newfoundland dog that fit you.
08:41Can you sit down?
08:44Shall I use gas?
08:45Yeah?
08:46Well, gas or electric lights.
08:48I'd feel nervous to have you fool around me as you are.

10:09But, Doctor, she has a 3 o'clock appointment.
10:12I wouldn't care if she had a 4 o'clock appointment.
10:16Boy, when I was in Dorjeeling, oh, it was Tiger's other way.
10:22Tell her I'm out.
10:23Don't go out there.
10:24Tell her I'm out.
10:28Let her go.
10:31Look at her, how are you?
10:33We've been waiting for you.
10:36So?
10:41When I tell you to go out and tell one of the peruca that I'm out, go out and tell them I'm out.
10:47Don't have these buggers walking on me.

12:11I'll shoot ya.
12:12Oh, I'll shoot ya.
12:19Oh, that didn't hurt ya.
12:23Oh, no, that didn't hurt, did it?
12:34Oh, I know it wouldn't hurt you.
12:38Give me that packing, please.
12:41You wouldn't let Arthur come here to see me, so I'm going to see him.

13:08Come here.
13:10Come here.
13:12Come here.
13:16See him there.
