00:00I'm here at St James' Park for the last time this season as Newcastle United host Everton.
00:07The final Premier League game, Champions League qualification on the line.
00:12Newcastle's task is simple, win, do that, three points, guarantees Champions League football for next season.
00:19Anything less, and looking at results elsewhere, which is something Eddie Howe said, he doesn't want anyone to do.
00:25So full focus today, four o'clock kick-off against Everton has to be on getting the win.
00:30And Newcastle in very good form here at St James' Park.
00:34They've won the last seven home games, which, I mean, their 2-0 win against Chelsea last time out.
00:40They huffed and puffed in the second half, but got the job done.
00:43And how important was that win heading into today?
00:46Because it just puts them in the driving seat in terms of the battle for the fourth and fifth spots in the Premier League that will get to Champions League football.
00:54Obviously, Man City also in action against Fulham, their third, but obviously have an advantage points-wise on Newcastle as well.
01:02So, yeah, these are the permutations.
01:04A win for Newcastle guarantees Champions League football.
01:07A draw, and then they'd need Aston Villa to either draw or lose to Manchester United.
01:12Alternatively, they'd need Forrest and Chelsea to draw.
01:16So, if Aston Villa don't draw, if they beat Manchester United and Newcastle draw against Everton,
01:21then they'd need Nottingham Forest and Chelsea to draw in that game at the city ground, taking place at the same time.
01:28If Newcastle lose, God forbid, then they'd need Aston Villa to lose against Manchester United at Old Trafford in order to still get Champions League football.
01:37Worst case scenario, realistically, Newcastle would finish sixth and qualify for the Europa League.
01:42But let's not think about that. Let's focus on the task ahead.
01:46Well, players will be arriving soon, just behind me there.
01:51In terms of team news, there's Kieran Trippiar, an injury doubt.
01:55He sort of teased he could be involved today on social media.
01:58Alexander Isaac, obviously the big one, top scorer.
02:01He missed the game against Everton at Goodison Park earlier in the season.
02:04So, will he be back? He hadn't trained until Saturday due to a groin issue.
02:11Missed the defeat at Arsenal last week.
02:14But him getting back in the team today, which we'll get news on very soon, would be a huge boost.
