00:07A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.
00:11Nautil al-Arbaeen, nautil al-aytikaf, nautil al-khalq, nautil al-wasilu, nautil al-qusiyan,
00:15wa hadiril majlis ya Rabbil Alhamdulillah.
00:19Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem.
00:21Atiullah wa atiur Rasul wa Ulil amre minkum.
00:24And a reminder to myself ana abdukal ajiz wa dayeef wa miskin wa zalim wa jahl.
00:29And but for the grace of Allah azza wa jahl that His rahmah and His mercy to dress us.
00:38And in this holy month of Rabiul Awal that entering in to the heart and the presence
00:45of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and remembering the journey and the example that Sayyidina
00:53Musa ﷺ wants to give to us.
00:59And Allah azza wa jahl make all of tariqahs to study Suratul Kahf and to be the people
01:09of the cave, the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
01:15And everything that we talked about running to the cave then the example of arrogance
01:20and pride when somebody thought their sovereignty and their wealth will be sufficient for them
01:29as a protection but there is no protection from Allah azza wa jahl.
01:34And then to the example of Sayyidina Musa ﷺ and his dialogue with Sayyidina Khidr
01:41ﷺ.
01:42Sayyidina Musa ﷺ wants knowledges of a higher reality after witnessing the Muhammadan reality.
01:51When he asked to see the faculties of spiritual hearing and seeing he asked to see, he witnessed
01:59the glory of Allah azza wa jahl which is the ruhaniyat of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
02:05After that, I will not stop until I reach the two rivers of La ilaha illallah Muhammadun
02:12Rasulullah ﷺ.
02:18Prophet ﷺ opening that, one you come to me, you come to me with no title.
02:27There is no king, there is no slave, they're just servanthood in the presence of Sayyidina
02:32Muhammad ﷺ.
02:35So then the one whom asking to reach that reality doesn't matter what their station
02:40is they are going to be humbled.
02:48Sayyidina Musa ﷺ wants from knowledges Prophet ﷺ wants to teach the Muhammadan way of guidance.
02:57Sayyidina Musa's people were arrogant, arguing, continuously combative, not having manners
03:09for the messenger of the Divinely Presence.
03:13As a result Prophet ﷺ wants to show that not only you want knowledges but I want for
03:21you to learn the Muhammadan way of guidance.
03:27That when you come, you see the boat, you go on the journey of the boat, then the secret
03:33of the boat came out that one you're going to struggle in the way of Allah azza wa jahl.
03:38Don't think and people email that, I want to spend two weeks with you and just learn.
03:45Don't ever think you're going to sit with a shaykh and in two weeks he's going
03:50to pour into your heart what all his life until today he is suffering under extreme
03:57testing and he's just going to give to you in two weeks here you go zap in your heart
04:02and go on your way like a McDonald's and add to it please a diet soda.
04:07It doesn't happen like that.
04:11And Nabi Musa's ﷺ asking, I want knowledges, now becoming agitated, I'm here for knowledge
04:19why are we on a boat breaking a boat?
04:23Public shame and public watching because he said, are you trying to kill these people
04:28on the boat?
04:30Nobody can see you, I'm on a boat and it looks like I'm sinking it.
04:37So that means what Prophet ﷺ wants that humility versus arrogance.
04:45Humility is not that you bring tea for the shaykh, we've seen those, remember those
04:53guys?
04:58Humility is not you talk humble, shaykh here tea for you.
05:06Humility is Allah will humiliate you, that's it.
05:11Nothing in your control, nothing you have the ability to do.
05:15When you take the path, I want to be humble and enter through the door of humility then
05:21Allah azza wa jalla, I will humiliate you and deflate you from the presence of people.
05:28Because that's what the pain of humiliation is to be brought down by social opinion.
05:37By the opinion of your peers to be cast down, to be talked bad about, to be propagated all
05:43over the internet and all the representatives and whisper to him, oh he I don't like him
05:48at all and all the fellow mureeds who already had bad character come out attacking you.
05:54To be brought down in the eyes of the public is the only door of humility.
06:03Not that you talk a certain way and you have tarawf and you have all these beautiful words
06:08and they don't care at all for your words, you're better off not using those words because
06:13you'll be guilty of hypocrisy.
06:19That's when we talked last night, better you don't talk in life for every word you
06:23say is going to be like a rope on your neck that you took and you act but it's like
06:30hypocrisy so that's why the level was silence, I'll remain silent.
06:36I won't overly exaggerate words of praise and love for you, I don't really love you
06:43like that and Allah knows what's in your heart.
06:47The only way you love is after you've been humiliated, then means you're a humble servant.
06:55So why was Zaynab e Musa having difficulty, he was being humiliated.
07:02He was bringing a ship down with people on it and a guide that nobody could see, coordinates
07:09that nobody could understand.
07:12So it's understanding of the Muhammadan guidance Prophet ﷺ is teaching that, I wanted for
07:18you to teach your people their rizq is blocking them because later when we're describing these
07:25levels of the nafs you're understanding the system of tariqah's guidance.
07:31Everyone's ship must be brought down and manipulated so that you big boom and bust, boom and bust
07:40you go down, your rizq goes down you have nothing.
07:46So that when the rizq is down you have a nice control with people, you have an understanding
07:53with them, they're looking to you eye to eye not that they're superior.
07:59And when the rizq is in danger and in fluctuation the servant is open, teach me, guide me, take
08:08me out of this life I have into a better understanding so that my rizq and my sustenance
08:15is for La ilaha illallah Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ.
08:19Wasn't that the inheritance of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as Siddiq to the tariqah, where did
08:24you leave?
08:25I left La ilaha illallah Muhammadun Rasulullah ﷺ.
08:29So means their whole power, their rizq, their productivity everything is to propagate this
08:37reality and love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and they live good lives because Allah's
08:43wa jala is rich, Allah's a bountiful.
08:46It's not a matter of a vow of poverty we're not going to all eat but it's the rizq that
08:52makes the person to feel they are sovereign, they're independent of anything and they
08:58hold their destiny.
09:00Say, I'm a doctor, I'm independent, I have an education, I make lots of money, I don't
09:07need you people.
09:08Allah can take all of that away by morning.
09:12You get an accident and you can't use your hands for surgery.
09:17So means there is no independence from Allah's wa jala.
09:19Then wanted to show Nabi Musa ﷺ when you got to the boy, this is the nafs and if your
09:26people are wild with you, you're raising them to be wild and these nafs have to be
09:33destroyed and brought down and then the whole science of the nafs.
09:38How dare your nation ask you questions the way they did?
09:42When Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ's nation was what?
09:47The nation of Samina wa Atana, we merely heard and we obey.
09:53His companions were not arguing with him and debating him ﷺ.
09:59They heard and they obeyed.
10:02So then the second test was that, he's going to show you, my Muhammadan guide will show
10:08you this nafs and this bad ego has to go and the third inshaAllah we try to get to it tonight
10:16we still have the lessons of the ego.
10:20Is that you got to a wall and the wall had a treasure for yateem and everybody is yateem
10:30there.
10:31We are all been yateems from Allah's wa jala.
10:36We think our mother and father are the ones that are brought us into the world but no
10:41Allah's wa jala, Allah's wa jala is the creator, Allah's wa jala is my owner and
10:48I'm a yateem from that reality and Allah's wa jala has put aside a treasure and it's
10:56out for the public and shaitan is trying to take it and what is it, it's the heart of
11:01insan.
11:03The heart of insan is all that shaitan wants.
11:08He's after everyone's treasure, he knows what Allah's wa jala is giving to the treasures
11:13and the hearts of creation so he wants them.
11:18He wants to bring them into his kingdom to steal their treasure, steal their rizq, steal
11:23their nafs and their good character.
11:26That's why everyone's born at the maqam three of inspiration.
11:32What do they call this one, mulhammah, in English was, the English is easier to, what's
11:44the mulhammah?
11:45Which one?
11:46Inspired self.
11:47The three, inspired self.
11:53Everyone born on inspired self, a vegetable, everyone is in a state of vegetable.
12:01You can't move right, your parents lift you, drag you, wash you, whatever you do you can't
12:05do nothing, you're just like cucumber.
12:10So you have two destinies now, either you're going to go down to Ammara based on your parents
12:16making you to be wild or the circumstances of the life that you're thrown into.
12:21They'll make you into Ammara where you go down and become wild, crazy, angry, violent
12:28and vicious or your parents inspire and guide you, teach you to the best of their ability
12:35to go up, to have inspiration, to understand goodness, have empathy within your heart,
12:43have compassion within your heart, to care, not to be judgmental, not to be against, have
12:48a sense and a reality of muhabbat and love.
12:53And teaching Nabi Musa ﷺ that these nafs have to be dealt with otherwise your people
13:00will become extremely difficult and they will not be in Allah's favor.
13:08And when you go to the treasure and to cover the treasure first thing that Nabi Musa ﷺ
13:16asked the Muhammadan guide, let's, we're hungry let's charge a fee for this service.
13:24And Sayyidina Khidr ﷺ, no, no, no this is not in the permission of Sayyidina Muhammad
13:28ﷺ.
13:30You don't charge to be of service.
13:34A life of khidmat, a life of khidmat opens every rahmah of Allah ﷻ.
13:41They don't charge for knowledges.
13:44The knowledge is free but you have an obligation to support because you don't take anything
13:50free and run with it.
13:51Prophet ﷺ will hold you accountable for what you learned.
13:56But they on their side they know that they should live a life of service.
14:00What do we do that we don't expect anything back from it, any fee from it, just to be
14:09of service to Allah ﷻ.
14:11And that's what Prophet ﷺ was teaching.
14:14Your nation must be strong in khidmat, that they do what they do for Allah ﷻ.
14:21To do their business is business but to be of service there's a time in which to serve
14:27and expect nothing.
14:29But because Nabi Musa ﷺ had asked, what about the fee, their nation they charge for
14:36their temples.
14:38When you go to the temple you pay by row.
14:42So in your first row you pay millions of dollars, millions of dollars, millions of dollars and
14:49the poor sit in the back.
14:52So then now worshipness and money got mixed and that became an eternal sickness.
15:00There's no way out of that system.
15:02As soon as you charge for the temple and for the church or for anything and you say that
15:08only the rich can sit in the front, only the rich have their way to Allah ﷻ and the poor
15:14they're in the back then there will be an eternal struggle for money.
15:22And everything has to be for money, everything has to be for business and it's so confused
15:28in the life that it's even for God they have to get the money.
15:34They have to go out, they have to conquer this earth so they can get a seat in the front.
15:40And all their social pressure is to get a seat in the front.
15:45So then you can see how the system is toxic.
15:51And that's from Nabi Musa asking, why didn't you charge for this?
15:58And Prophet ﷺ wanting to explain, this is a danger.
16:03This is a reality you're not, don't introduce it into your deen.
16:09And they did, they do and that's the toxicity.
16:13And every offshoot of what they taught is the same system.
16:19They taught that system to all the offshoot branches of religion and all those offshoots
16:25they charge per row, million, five hundred thousand, two hundred thousand and even the
16:31back row is not free, it's such bad seats you still have to pay something for the back
16:36row.
16:37So then now you're in a continuous difficulty of dunya.
16:43So then there was a reality in which Prophet ﷺ wanted to teach Nabi Musa ﷺ the Muhammadan
16:48guidance.
16:50You want to acknowledge, no problem but I want to teach you our system of guidance.
16:57So then tariqahs they are the Muhammadan guidance system.
17:02Where one come to the tariqah, their du'as and Allah's awj will begin to fluctuate
17:08your rizq and sustenance.
17:11If you make good sustenance and you're generous and good and your heart is open then you should
17:16have no problem.
17:17If you are tight-fisted the only thing that comes from tight-fisted people are lots of
17:22fights because they live a life like that.
17:27Allah will open the fist and teach the servant, no don't let your rizq be a source of contamination
17:36that clouding you from your reality.
17:39Then take you to the boy and say that this nafs has to be tamed, the bad characters have
17:45to be tamed.
17:46We said, Nafs Ammara is the one that completely evil.
17:51When we read the characteristics of it we understand it, self-centered, doesn't care
17:59about anyone, doesn't care how it gets to any goal, everyone they climb over anyone's
18:06head then we see those characteristics we say, oh okay 99% of this dunya is Nafs Ammara
18:11even the television show is just Nafs Ammara.
18:17And then we said Shawarma and then Lawwama because you're going to be cooking.
18:23No doubt Allah's greatness and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ immediately pulled
18:29everybody out of Ammara.
18:32Very few are doing those type of activities and sitting in a majlis of zikr.
18:39By the virtue of the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ pulled them out of Ammara and majority
18:45are in Lawwama.
18:49And the Lawwama was good and bad, thumma ammanu thumma kafaru.
18:54One day they believe next day they go bad, one day they believe next day they go bad
19:00but at least the consciousness within the heart is opening because the other one has
19:06no epiphany, has no empathy, feels nothing is wrong even thinks the bad is good.
19:14But the good and bad state, the yin and yang, nafs it knows, oh that was bad, Ya Rabbi tawba,
19:23tawba.
19:24And then begin to learn the process of istighfar and all of the practices, why the zikr saves
19:30and why when Allah's awj want to guide someone out of these badness send them to the zikrs
19:35because Allah's awj describes, hold tight to the rope.
19:40The rope are the turuqs because they're a line of najat and safety coming from the
19:46heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and immediately the shaykhs are throwing a line, a rope out
19:54giving the awrads, giving the zikrs, giving the nazar, giving all of the associations,
19:58giving help and email and every type of communication, hold tight to this rope.
20:06Don't think you can do yourself, the more you kick in quicksand the deeper you go down.
20:14So without a shaykh you see people thinking they make istighfar and it stops, no they
20:18actually start to kick and agitate and they go deeper down.
20:22You talk to them a couple years later they're really in bad shape thinking they're going
20:27to pull themselves out but Allah loves you, if Allah loves you He doesn't want you to
20:31come to the Muhammadan way, doesn't want you to come to the love of Sayyidina Muhammad
20:36ﷺ.
20:37Why would Allah's love want you to be independent of everyone?
20:43He wants you to come to La ilaha illallah Muhammadun Rasulallah ﷺ in its reality.
20:52So then in that stage they understand the struggle between good and bad, most are caught
20:57into that stage and we said, mulhima.
21:08The third level of the nafs, mulhima the inspired self.
21:15That it's leaning more towards positive less in the negative, two thirds positive
21:22one third naughty still there.
21:25But because of the practices and the spiritual practices and all that they're doing you're
21:31opening up your system, you're being taught how, meditate, contemplate, open up your faculty
21:39of thinking, of hearing, of feeling.
21:44The danger of that is if you're not building a strong relationship that's why they say,
21:49if you're going to teach this make a helpline, helpmeatnurmuhammad.com for this purpose.
21:59If you're going to teach en masse how to connect your heart, how to open your heart
22:07then the guidance and the people who are listening have to have a firm hand onto the hand of
22:14the shaykh because you're now about to enter a dimension that you have absolutely no understanding
22:20with.
22:21Don't hold like that but hold firm, hold firm because they're going to whip you around.
22:28If you should let go of that hand in the middle of this many bad things have happened to people,
22:35many bad things because they fall under the prey of their nafs they end up in jails and
22:41psychiatric wards and crazy houses and they end up in the grave because you're not going
22:49to open your faculties, you're not going to open your heart, you're not going to open
22:53your inspiration and don't think that 10,000 shaitans are there, hey look his speakers
23:01are working finally.
23:03You're sitting and making tafakkur and contemplation and you're not doing it the way they said
23:09and you're mixing it with other garbage and other reiki and other practices, you're opening
23:14yourself to all of this craziness and then you follow exactly how the tariqah tells you
23:20to do with the exact coordinates, you make it exactly how they do, you don't smoke, you
23:25don't drink, you don't do marijuana, you don't do nothing other than what they taught you
23:30to do and you hold firm to the tariqah because in this maqam you're going to have inspirations,
23:37heart, feelings and energies but you don't know, was it from shaitan?
23:43Was it, and the shaitan we mean all negative energy, the bad jinns, naughty jinn.
23:49Think yourself in a masjid they even believing jinn but not mu'min jinn, believing beings
23:57they can flip your life upside down just like a bad guy in a mosque, crazy people in the
24:04masjid.
24:05You're sitting there and you're praying and somebody come and start saying weird things
24:07to you and say, what are you doing?
24:09You think that people who accepted Islam are not bizarre, yeah but not a mu'min.
24:15A mu'min being never interferes because of the oath he took with Allah that he would
24:21perish if he intervened.
24:25Their contracting covenant with Allah they never intervene in your life, if anything
24:31is interfering in your life it's not a mu'min.
24:34The mu'min they're under bound and under their bayah and their allegiance, if they
24:39should involve themselves in this human life they will cease to exist and Allah will take
24:45their existence out.
24:47So, anything that playing with you is not a mu'min, so then when you open yourself
24:54in practices you're going to feel, you're going to have inspirations and then you're
24:59going to start saying, I'm having dreams.
25:04And that's why the wisdom of their teaching, so when somebody emails or even we've said
25:11it on internet, dream, dream, dream, dream, the shaykh doesn't want to hear the word
25:16dream at all from you unless you think it's drastically you're dying and you saw yourself
25:25dying and even that has it's own reality.
25:28The dream world as soon as you talk about this subject we just described there's a
25:33hundred ifrit also listening with us, so anytime there's two the third is shaitan, right?
25:39So, shaitan's listening, huh?
25:41Hey, this guy likes dreams, oh yeah we got you don't worry, who's going to be sending
25:49you the dreams?
25:51Those shaitans all day long, all day long until your whole life is dreams, dreams, dreams,
25:59dreams, dreams, dreams and you think them to be real and hundred percent false.
26:04You don't think they know a little bit of what's coming, a little bit of what's happened
26:08about a secret here and a secret there and as soon as they got you that's how they locked
26:13you and they keep using it, keep using it, they will rule you with fear, with knowledge,
26:20with everything because you said you were interested in that so we divorced ourself
26:26from that understanding.
26:29So Imam al-Rabbani said, don't use that, this is the lowest state, it's a reality and
26:37prophecy but you're not a prophet.
26:44Tell yourself, I want nothing to do with dreams Ya Rabbi, I want that which is real and live.
26:51So go back under the carpet and make your tafakkur much harder because you have to have
26:57good character, good manners and good actions.
27:01At that time when you're sitting on your tafakkur and contemplation you feel the presence
27:05and the faiz of the shaykhs and they're teaching you that if you want knowledges are you achieving
27:12these stations because if you're at level 1 and 2 and you're expecting Divine knowledges
27:17to come to your heart it's not going to happen, there's no knowledge going to come like that.
27:23These are much higher levels of the nafs have to be purified, when the nafs is purified
27:29it's doing its tafakkur, it left the oceans of badness and bad character, bad inspiration,
27:36it disciplined itself not to focus on dreaming, not to focus on incorrect inspirations and
27:43a strong connection with the shaykh.
27:46Why because you get inspiration, they can impersonate anyone just not Prophet ﷺ and
27:53not the Kamil Muhammadan guides of which they're not but one or two on this earth.
28:02Anyone else they can impersonate and it come to you, you follow shaykh Abdul and his internet
28:10channel and shaykh Abdul keep coming to you, come to me on the internet, come to me, watch
28:15my YouTube channel, you don't think they could do that?
28:21You're in the outer limits, they come to you to listen to this channel, listen to this
28:26YouTube, read this book, read that because now you taking guidance from that world instead
28:32of this hello world where we're right here, the guides are open to you, they're right
28:37in front of you.
28:40At that time the connection has to be strong, shaykh I'm having dreams of following this
28:44shaykh and reading this book and taking myself because of my problem, I want to go all the
28:50way here to resolve something.
28:52My rizq is not opening with what you're saying, I saw my dream to go and see Babaji in this
28:59village somewhere.
29:01They will impersonate everything and their teaching is that you think it's a Divine inspiration,
29:09no they hijack your line to take you off course.
29:13And we said last night we have had very sad incidences where the person was arguing with
29:19me that they're inspired, I said, you're not inspired, I said, yes I'm inspired, I said
29:24that in five minutes you put your jacket on, five seconds later you take your jacket off,
29:28you put your jacket on, you take your jacket off, he says, no I'm inspired and Imam Ali's
29:33telling me to leave.
29:35I said, look I gotta tell you that it's a lie and Imam Ali has nothing to do with you
29:42and he would not tell you to leave this training, you're under the effect of a jinn who's possessing
29:48you, not listen, not listen and difficulty comes.
29:53So this is not something that you know people understand lightly, that's why that when this
29:59level is begin to open they're doing their practices, then help me, they're communicating
30:04not on the colour of the paint of your house and the inspiration of buying a coffee machine
30:10but the inspiration of making drastic decisions.
30:13Somebody had emailed, I'm deciding to sell my entire house and send you all the money,
30:18I said, it's completely satanic and you're not sending us that money at all.
30:23In the middle of a pandemic you're going to sell your whole home and send the money and
30:28then tomorrow say you have a problem and you have to live in my living room.
30:33That's not an inspiration from the heavens, that's something whispering in your ear to
30:37cause you a problem and me a bigger problem.
30:41So when there's a shaykh they know, send a small amount is good for you.
30:48So anything can come, any type of inspiration that level has to be very strong in their
30:55connection so when they start to feel, I'm inspired, my heart is feeling good, I'm doing
31:00good.
31:01Then the strength and the connection with the shaykh so that they don't run.
31:04You know when we saw it in the silat videos, the silat masters when they're training their
31:11students they're training them in tafakkur and contemplation and reliance, right.
31:17HasbunAllahu wa ni'mal waqeel, through the power of what's coming through these shaykhs
31:22they train, they train, they train to be committed.
31:25The shaykh takes a hot oil and he takes the oil and he put it on something you can see
31:30it goes zzzzzz and sizzles it in a second and they start pouring it on.
31:35We have the videos, the silat, extreme silat training they start pouring it on them.
31:40The shaykh's pouring hot oil all over them and you see them struggling and the shaykh's
31:45telling them, don't you go.
31:46If you run you're going to be scorched from this burn now, stay right where you are.
31:53Then you see the advanced one he's standing, standing and trying to control his energy
31:57to shield his energy from the pain he's feeling.
32:00As soon as it's over he takes the shaykh's hand and begin to make a du'a on him so that
32:05all of it is relieved and taken away.
32:08So means this is deep in Islamic realities.
32:12If you run at these stages and go out for yourself to listen to yourself to every type
32:18of whim and desire from yourself it can be very toxic.
32:23That's why then the firmness in the understanding and the connection with the shaykhs inshaAllah.
32:29Let's go to the fourth level nafs inshaAllah.
32:33But tonight al-mutma'in, the nafs of certainty.
32:39That anyone who wants to write they can write just key words and key phrases it doesn't
32:44have to be verbatim they'll send out the transcript that will have everything written inshaAllah.
32:53And these are from Ya Ulumuddin and the Rifai Tariqahs they have it all written in the seven
33:00stages of the nafs.
33:04Mutma'inah, it is the self that has ascended to the first station of development, towards
33:09intimacy, contentment and love for Allah.
33:12Its refinement is attained through increasing commitment and through honest and sincere
33:16fulfillment of obligations, with respect to the true way with all its aspects, particularly
33:21with respect to human relationships and to the conduct regarding the acts of worship.
33:26The Prophet ﷺ said, the religion is in the conduct, and the best among you in character
33:31is the best in faith.
33:34The secure self has entered the pathways, the methods and means of protection and healing.
33:39Hold on one second Shaykh.
33:40So what is it?
33:41It's adab.
33:43If you see and you witness someone with no adab and think, no they still must be pious
33:51no, no they could be representatives of unseen beings and their knowledge couldn't be coming
34:00from those beings.
34:02So means it's what?
34:04The way is based on good manners and good conduct because they become very soft and
34:10subtle as they're now rising up the nature of their reality is soft and subtle, they're
34:17latif.
34:18They pick up and feel energies and they understand that the vibration and the tone even their
34:25the tone in which they speak has to be soft.
34:30Never harsh, never sort of wild and crazy and screaming and yelling.
34:38The secure self has entered the pathways, the methods and means of protection and healing
34:43through self-examination, resistance, striving and devotion.
34:48These efforts bear the fruit of certainty and the truth that Allah alone is the actor.
34:52He is the cause and motivator of everything for there is no god but Him and no lord but
34:56Him and Allah in all of His actions is merciful and generous.
35:01He knows the best interests of the self.
35:03This certainly leads to trust in Allah.
35:05The self becomes confident that what is with Allah is better and more enduring than whatever
35:11is in its possession or in the possession of others.
35:14So the self becomes secure and ceases to occupy itself with anything other than who it has
35:18trust in.
35:19You don't have to worry about any more in your fighting and in your characters, no have
35:23to tell this person they're wrong.
35:26This person is Allah's speaking through them but I have to get my justice from this person
35:31because they did wrong.
35:32Say, no but Allah's is speaking to them too.
35:36Every situation is under the control and this understanding is tawheed.
35:41They understood everything comes from Allah's.
35:44Who are you fighting then?
35:46Who are you arguing?
35:47What is it that you're trying to prove in your argument?
35:51They understood because they're now witnessing Allah and everything.
35:56The one they're arguing back is more skilled and more powerful than you because Divinely
36:02Presence is pushing you back.
36:04So then they understood, just stay quiet, stay quiet and have good character through
36:09this test because Allah's teaches us, I don't change a condition of a person of my servant
36:16until he change what's within himself.
36:20So what's the most typical?
36:22People want to move, they want to go, they say, Oh I just, I want to go but the problem
36:27is you're going too and you're the problem.
36:31It's not the location, it's you that's the problem.
36:35Unfortunately you pack yourself in the bag and you go to the next place and you're still
36:40there and Allah promised, I'm not going to change anything, I'm not going to change any
36:45condition around you, it's actually going to be intensified now because you didn't seem
36:49to get the system.
36:51So they understood, no I have to change, it's wholly about me, ufawudu amri inna Allah,
36:58inna Allahu basirun bil ibaad.
37:01That for verily Allah's just sees my condition and He won't change it until I change myself
37:08and then I begin to understand everybody is going to pound me because I'm a nail and everybody's
37:13a hammer.
37:14How's the expression go?
37:19To hammer everything is a nail, right.
37:22If you're a hammer you hit everybody but this is the reverse, Allah's the hammer and
37:28I'm the nail and He's sending every character to give a little hit, ding, ding, ding, ding,
37:35ding until you are ground beef.
37:39You came through the door as a steak, as a fillet, do you know who I am?
37:43Do you know who my jatt are, who my ancestors are?
37:46You know my wealth, my status, my position, ooh that just means you're going to have more
37:51grinding because the big steaks are harder to grind down.
37:56Had you just come and said, you know I'm just like a hamburger, nothing and no problem because
38:01with hamburger you just couple slaps and it's already ready.
38:07They don't need to be thrown in the grinder.
38:10Blessed be the weak and the poor, why?
38:12Because they're already down to the ground, that was the greatness of Prophet ﷺ.
38:17We're not selling rose in our masjid, Prophet ﷺ shocked their system by saying, no I don't
38:24care if you're a king or a slave sit in the row and pray with me and they were shocked
38:29that they were sitting next to a slave.
38:31We buy the rose and everyone sit in the back and the greatness of Islam and what Prophet
38:36ﷺ brought, no, no, no I don't care who's a king and I don't care who's a slave sit
38:41in the front and pray and the best of you is the one who comes the earliest to pray
38:46and this was the greatness and azimat of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
38:51Knowing that no sickness in Islam, there's no money in Islam, there's no way to buy
38:55Allah's awajal.
38:59This is the first level of maturity for the self.
39:02The heart begins to shine with the light of consciousness.
39:05The ego's power begins to shrink so that purity, refinement, clarity and light dominate
39:10the heart.
39:12Now the self begins to show its true attributes that were previously hidden.
39:16These are the attributes of servanthood, helplessness, all power to Allah, humility, poverty, non-attachment,
39:25need and annihilation.
39:27So these are the characteristics of a servant entering into mutma'innah.
39:34There were what?
39:35Do it again shaykh.
39:38Servanthood, helplessness, humility, poverty, non-attachment, need and annihilation.
39:47You see that in your nafs in Ramadan, right?
39:51So you're not going to ever kill your nafs, your job is to convert your nafs.
39:57His Hizbul Shaitan, he has to become Hizbullah, not from Lebanon but he has to be with the
40:06party of Allah ﷻ in which your nafs will work with you.
40:10Say, we're not going anywhere, okay I'm going to wear my kufi now I'm with you.
40:14And you see that nafs in Ramadan.
40:17He says, this guy's committed to Ramadan, don't matter if he's going to die or not
40:20die so he wakes you up, time to have suhoor man we're hungry.
40:26And you see your nafs is helping you so that it doesn't stay hungry, doesn't go through
40:31difficulty.
40:32So, you're breaking your suhoor on time, you're breaking the first person to break.
40:42Now he is under the command of his human soul which takes pleasure in following the example
40:47of the Prophet ﷺ.
40:48He possesses the qualities which Allah praises.
40:51He is kind, generous, patient, forgiving, sincere, thankful, content and at peace.
40:59Every word which comes from his lips is holy, either from the Holy Qur'an or from the tradition
41:04of the Prophet ﷺ or from the teaching of his soul.
41:07He is a teacher not only through words but also by example.
41:12Miracles which transpire through him, he attributes to other causes, never claiming them, disowning
41:17them to the point of denying them.
41:19His every action corresponds to the highest.
41:22He has regained the name of Insan, a true human being.
41:25The name Insan is derived from the word Uns, being close, intimate with one's Lord.
41:31Thus, his Lord will take him by the hand and lead him forward without much difficulty from
41:35now on.
41:37Its remembrance is truth.
41:39For Naqshbandiya, not only that but they open for you the reality of what Insan is.
41:47In the huroof there's an article that we have for the huroof of Insan.
41:51Insan itself has two noons.
41:55In the center is a scene of realities, the secret and the seer of all realities.
42:01That what Allah's awj want to open is the diya.
42:05That your heart, the light within the heart, the diya, the shams begins to glow.
42:10As soon as that light is sparked we call it, you've caught in fire, caught fire.
42:17That your light is lit within your heart, you get heated in associations, your sun is
42:24now about to grow.
42:27As a result of that noon closest to the alif, all the secrets of ilm ul yaqeen, ayn ul yaqeen,
42:35haq ul yaqeen will become now the oceans in which you swim.
42:39That nur will reflect to the noon closest to the outside so that you become qamaroon,
42:46so that your heart is lit and your face becomes shining and your being is filled with the
42:52secret of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ.
43:00The content self.
43:01Oh we're at the next level now?
43:04Nafs al-Radiya.
43:08Return to your Lord content, Surah Fajr.
43:11Yeah, Surah Fajr, Surah 89, verse 28, where Allah's awj Faraj, salvation and Fajr is the
43:22time in which to reach to Allah's awj and then the Radiya.
43:28That return onto your Lord content in which Allah's awj loves that servant and that servant
43:35immensely in love with Allah's awj and it becomes an immense love affair that begins
43:41to open.
43:43As the secure self ascends to its Lord, the lights of the heart increase and fill the
43:48entire body transforming the sensual desires of the ego to the desire for what the Prophet
43:53ﷺ brought in the Qur'an.
43:54So love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and this ishq and muhabbat of Allah's awj, a treasure
44:01wanting to be known and alhamdulillah Naqshbandiya tul Aliyah is an immense love and immense
44:09depth of the reality into the heart of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is start to opening.
44:14Because when you said before you're loving Allah's awj and Allah's awj is reflecting
44:18to you that, I want you to find me and I reflect my reality into the reality of Sayyidina Muhammad
44:25ﷺ and then they begin to move towards the love of Prophet's ﷺ nur and light inshaAllah
44:32the arwah wa nur Muhammad ﷺ.
44:36Now describe these servants.
44:40Now hardship and ease are the same to it as are harm and benefit.
44:44So life and up and down no more, bipolar states have to stop.
44:50Means bipolar state is that aesthetically happy when things are good and extremely sad
44:59when things are bad, right.
45:02Too much fluctuation in the character, no.
45:07When the reliance is upon Allah's awj the firmness of the heart and the depth of emotions
45:14to understand it is like a flat line.
45:18You're not excessively happy about anything and you're not overly sad about anything.
45:24You're flat line because you're content that everything is in Allah's hands.
45:27Today we'll be happy, tomorrow we'll be sad.
45:29Tomorrow sad, tomorrow we'll be happy.
45:31Doesn't really matter, it's all going to be the same.
45:40Because it has become certain that every action and deed is from Allah alone.
45:45He is the one who grants it mercy and compassion.
45:47He is the one who is tender and benevolent towards it.
45:50Everything that is from its beloved is accepted and so it is content with everything.
45:54At this level the self's creed is that if it is tried it is patient and if it is given
46:00it is thankful and if it is deprived it is accepting and if it is wronged it is forgiving.
46:08It has now become the self with a wholesome and sound heart.
46:11It fluctuates in all its states between trust and regulation and contentment and surrender
46:18to Allah.
46:19The characteristic of this self is constant cheerfulness, gratitude and thankfulness no
46:24matter what happens.
46:26This is the second stage of the complete self which is the station of servanthood.
46:30Very few men can aspire to reach this high station.
46:33Up to and including this level the seeker is taught by words and or examples of others
46:39than himself through ilm ul yaqeen.
46:42Now he has approached the level of knowledge through personal experience and revelations,
46:45ayn ul yaqeen.
46:47Up until now everything was relative.
46:49Now he is offered the truth.
46:51The manifestation of this state is love, all enveloping love.
46:55He sees all and everything as Allah's perfect acts, thus loving them as the actions of the
46:59beloved.
47:01He achieves perfect surrender to everything which happens.
47:04That is the truth of Islam.
47:05There is perfect harmony of which he is aware.
47:08There is no possibilities of error as he is the master of his nafs and the nafs itself
47:12has become a Muslim, submitting to its Lord.
47:15He does not want anything other than what he has.
47:18Therefore he does not ask for anything for himself from Allah but he prays for someone
47:22else.
47:23His prayers are immediately gratified.
47:25He is seated on the throne in the spiritual realm while the exterior world is in attendance
47:31to serve.
47:32His acceptance, submission, pleasure, gratitude and love of his Lord are so perfect that the
47:37Lord responds with his pleasure for his servant in return.
47:43Then nafs al mardiya, the gratified nafs.
47:52At this stage the self is not only content with its Lord but also gratified by him.
47:56At this stage the light of the heart is complete.
47:59The heart advances from wholesomeness to a heart that is in total awe of Allah, constantly
48:04inclined towards him, imbued with humility toward him in every condition.
48:09The people of this station are the people witnessing the manifestations of the actions
48:12of the names of Allah.
48:14Their witnessing in their hearts to the manifestations of Allah's power results in their awe in the
48:19face of Allah's greatness and majesty in all his actions, which are essentially the
48:23manifestation of his names.
48:25The people of this station are also gifted with unveiling and miracles that enable them
48:30to call people to the love of Allah.
48:32These miracles are essentially for those who deny and reject the truth but who are at the
48:36same time called to Allah.
48:39So he sends to them miracles through the people of this station so that the egos of these
48:43people will submit to these miracles and thus return through Allah back to the path of Allah.
48:49For when Allah loves one of his servants, he seeks him and calls him to himself.
48:53If the servant responds at the first call, then he is brought near.
48:56Otherwise Allah seeks him through trials or through miracles.
49:00For Allah's command must come to be and it is utterly irresistible.
49:03This station is the last of the stations of faith, and through it the self enters the
49:07presence of the station of Ihsan, the most beautiful station of excellence, which is
49:12the goal and the desire of the heart of every servant.
49:15At this level is manifested the bond between the creator and the created, with a love common
49:20to both.
49:21The creator finds in the perfect man the qualities which he has bestowed on him when he created
49:25him.
49:26And he says, certainly we created man in the best form.
49:29His own beautiful names, his attributes that he taught to our father Hazrat Adam become
49:34manifest in the seeker.
49:36Thus the perfect man who has attained the level of deserving Allah's pleasure has lost
49:40all his physical animal characteristics as well as his imperfect human aspects.
49:45Now Allah's divine attributes are manifest in him.
49:48And he sees the truth because he is blessed with ayn al yaqeen.
49:53He sees beauty in everything, loves everyone, forgives the faults of those who do not know.
49:58He is compassionate, generous, giving, never asking, serving with all he has to bring others
50:02to the light of the soul and to protect them from the dangers of their nafs and the darkness
50:06of their worldliness.
50:08All this he does for the sake of Allah and in his name.
50:11It is difficult to recognize these beings.
50:13Their state cannot be described in words.
50:15They cannot be conceived with common ordinary concepts.
50:19Their one identifiable characteristic is that they are always in a state of perfect balance,
50:23like the center of a circle, like the fulcrum of a balance, right in the middle, neither
50:28more nor less the medium.
50:31That one took long time on the nafs, is the third state in which Nabi Musa ﷺ went after
50:42the wall.
50:45And when he approached the wall with Sayyidina Khidr ﷺ they were hungry.
50:50They asked and nobody gave them food.
50:54Then they came to a wall in which the order came, rebuild this wall.
51:01There are orphans here, there's a treasure and people will steal it before it gets into
51:07the hands of the orphans.
51:09And Nabi Musa ﷺ asked that, after we did all of this how come they didn't, we could
51:16have asked a fee, we could have asked for something to do this work.
51:21And tariqah comes to teach us this is the third and related to these levels of the nafs
51:31that if you're trying to reach towards level three and up, mulhamma and up, it requires
51:40a khidmat.
51:41The only way to this treasure through the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ is a life
51:48of khidmat because that's the example of the shaykh that he learned from his shaykh
51:53and shaykh and shaykh and shaykh, live a life of service.
51:58Live a life of service in which you don't ask and don't ask to be paid for your service
52:04that I want this, I want that, no, no, no I just want to serve.
52:09If people give alhamdulillah and if they don't alhamdulillah Allah ﷻ send from many ways.
52:17So it's a life of service to receive that treasure and that that treasure shaitan is
52:24after the treasure of the heart and the reality of building the wall is to be vigilant with
52:32our heart, be vigilant with the treasure that Allah ﷻ has set aside within insan, Alamal
52:40Qur'an wa Khalaqal Insan.
52:42Allah ﷻ had taught you these realities and then created your form, there is a treasure
52:48within everyone's heart and to mine it and to bring it out the first level is to understand
52:55I have to safeguard my heart.
52:59I don't let anyone into it, I don't let anyone destroy it and I don't let myself to destroy
53:04my heart by engaging in arguments and disputes and fights and yelling and screaming because
53:11what's happening is it's crushing my heart and taking my faith away.
53:17Anyone who engages in fighting knows at the end they feel they have like no faith left
53:22in their heart, whatever lights and precious realities were there as if shaitan stole them.
53:29So they learned how to be quiet because they're guarding a treasure that Allah's depositing
53:34within their heart that, I know this test is coming to steal my treasures, I'm going
53:41to keep my wudu, I'm going to ufawudu amreena Allah that, Allah Ya Rabbi please I see that
53:47You're watching me, not only You're watching me Allah You're sending this.
53:51Give me strength and patience to be good in my character and then they begin to rise above
53:57it to reach towards that reality, to take from that reality and their whole life was
54:03a khidmat and that khidmat opened every rahmah of their life because that was the good character
54:11that we started the whole talk with.
54:14That Prophet ﷺ is describing, these maqams are only the character of good, good character.
54:21He didn't say that this is the maqam of the one who memorized hadith, this is now the
54:25next maqam of the one who memorized all of Qur'an and this next one who memorized all
54:30of the memorization of everyone else's memories.
54:37Prophet ﷺ described, no this is the maqam of good character.
54:41Good character if it's displayed there should be no yelling, no screaming, no battling,
54:47all of these things they have to be brought down, they should not be accepted, they should
54:52not be acceptable and we struggle our whole lives to contain them and now with what's
54:59opening upon this earth, immense negativity, immense negativity and this negativity is
55:06doing what?
55:07Not only it's killing people making them sick with what they think are viruses but
55:11the spiritual sickness.
55:14You see hate now propagated, you see amarah on television and on radio so much so that
55:20when you turn on TV you watch everyone else is imitating this is normal.
55:25As soon as the television get off now start backbiting, backbite this, backbite that,
55:30this one because you took the characteristic of the TV and that's all that dajjal wanted.
55:35We pray that Allah ﷻ dress us and bless us from these realities.
55:40That in these holy months that Sayyidina Musa ﷺ to dress us and bless us with that reality
55:48in which he wanted the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ and took through a path of humiliation
55:55and humility and the reality is that Sayyidina Abbas ﷺ to dress us and bless us bi hurmati
56:00Muhammad al-Mustafa wa bi siri Surat al-Fatiha.
