00:00Anand Rai was earning just Rs. 200 a day as a delivery boy, and now he's a crore-prathy
00:05entrepreneur changing lives across his village. He left his village in Jhantpur, UP and started
00:10working in the supply chain as a delivery boy, earning barely Rs. 200 to Rs. 250 a day in Mumbai.
00:23Over time, he understood the finer details of the supply chain and gradually moved from one
00:28company to another. By the time he quit his last job, he was earning Rs. 50,000 per month.
00:33In 2016, Anand took over a German vegetable supply company, Gojawaz. From there,
00:38he became an NRI based in Singapore. But his heart still belonged to his hometown.
00:52In 2024, he built a mushroom production plant in his village in Jhantpur, named after his wife,
00:57Sunita Mushroom. It was producing a ton of mushrooms every day with 5 to 6 crore turnover in 2025.
01:04He's employed over 100 people now, but he's hoping to turn his company into a 100 crore company.
01:09His mushrooms are exported all over the world, served on plates across Singapore,
01:13Ukraine and Spain. And that's how he went from earning just Rs. 200 a day to being a crore-prathy.
