00:00Let's dive in to what we are seeing here for game number two.
00:03Both of the guards that we expected to lead the way for both clubs,
00:08sensational in game one.
00:09Tyrese Halliburton, 31 points, 11 dimes,
00:12and of course the game tire that we thought was a game winner
00:16at the end of regulation.
00:18Clutch moment for clutch moment for clutch moment
00:20for Halliburton so far on this playoff run for Indiana.
00:24The clutch player of the year, though, in the association,
00:27Jalen Brunson, who did pour in 43 points for New York in game number one.
00:34What will both players do for an encore DRS here in game number two?
00:37Yeah, I'm pretty high on Brunson, again, getting into the 30s
00:40because I do think if you have to win this game,
00:42you give it to your best ball control guy,
00:44and that is going to be Brunson.
00:46He'll take a ton of shots, 20-plus in this game.
00:48He should be into the 30s.
00:49It's not necessarily, I don't think Halliburton can get to 21 points,
00:52but you had that big game number one,
00:54and the Knicks are understanding, like, we have to really clamp down on defense,
00:58which is why that total, after having a crazy high number in overtime
01:02on a total score, is a little bit down here with the betting public.
01:05That's the reason behind it because you don't actually look,
01:08hey, Knicks got to get their offense going.
01:09No, the Knicks got to get their defense going,
01:11and they understand that as well.
01:13Defense is where it starts, which means maybe a slower tempo,
01:16which means the correlation would be the Knicks have a good offensive performance
01:18and a very good defensive performance.
01:21So, for me, if I'm just looking at the two superstars,
01:23I'm still going to take Brunson over in a must-win game.
01:25He's going to shoot 20-plus times in that game.
01:27I expect him to get to 30.
01:28But Halliburton, I think, will be keyed on.
01:31He can still have a good game, 16, 17, 18 points, and stay under that.
01:35But if he, again, let's just say he goes 25-plus points, 12 assists out there,
01:39I don't know if the Knicks win that game.
01:40So, if we're looking at shutting down Halliburton,
01:42which is the head of the snake, if you will,
01:44that's where the focus has to be, over on Brunson,
01:47under on Halliburton for me.
01:4920-plus field goal tries for Jalen Brunson
01:52in nine of the 13 playoff games now for New York.
01:56Indiana won in game number one.
01:58They have won nine of their 11 games so far on this postseason run.
02:02In eight of the nine, six players have reached double digits.
02:05And, of course, that includes the depth.
02:08Pascal Siakam went over his points prop in game number one.
02:11Miles Turner was great to start.
02:13And, of course, Aaron Neesmith, eight of nine from three with 30 points.
02:18That depth for Indiana is huge.
