00:00Now, tonight at the Garden, what do you expect to see from the Knicks
00:05who've been getting their ass beat?
00:08You know, I have to go with the Pacers,
00:11but let me pretext this by putting it in a betting perspective.
00:15We all know when you're betting the playoffs,
00:17we're betting the same teams every two days here,
00:19and we've been doing it for a couple of months now
00:21or a month and a half, whatever it's been, et cetera.
00:23So you're not going to win every game.
00:26You and I talk about it with the Oilers.
00:27It's like, all right, they're not going to win every game,
00:30but, you know, this is the team that we're riding right now.
00:33And the way I see it is the Pacers either finish them off tonight
00:37or they're going to finish them off.
00:38I don't think we're going seven, right?
00:40And quite frankly, I don't – I'm not laying the points.
00:43I would rather take the points because I think if the Knicks win tonight, Scott,
00:48I don't think it would be in a blowout.
00:50I don't think the Knicks can blow them out.
00:52So I don't think it would be in a blowout.
00:54I don't think the Pacers are flaky enough that they'll take this game for granted tonight.
01:00So I think the Pacers will show up.
01:02But all these games have been close.
01:03I mean, I know there have been big leads and all that,
01:06but in the end, they've been close games.
01:08So I got to take the four and a half points.
01:10I just have to.
01:12I mean, you know, the money line,
01:13I've been more aggressive with the money line earlier in the series.
01:16But like I said, guys, if the Knicks win tonight,
01:18I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks win, you know, 121 to 120, right?
01:22You know, 119 to 170, the Knicks win a thriller, they win a close one,
01:26or it gets ugly for the Knicks and the Pacers actually win by 8 or 10 or something.
01:32You know, when the Pacers are up late, the wheels fall off, people start fouling out,
01:36people start leaving for the exits in the garden, Scott.
01:38But I can't take the Knicks tonight.
01:40It's Pacers or Boston.
01:42As I said, if I lose, I'll come right back to them at the field house in a couple of days here.
01:47But I think, you know, I'm taking, I think there's a strong possibility
01:51they actually finish them off tonight.
01:52So what's the difference between, what's the difference between the closeout game
02:00against Boston and an elimination game when they're on the receiving end of it at home?
02:06Like they blew out the Celtics in that game.
02:08No one could believe it by 32, whatever it was.
02:11And then now they're facing elimination.
02:16What's the difference between finishing someone off or about to be finished off?
02:21I think, you know, Scott, you've been around a long time.
02:23I think you would probably agree.
02:25I think it's harder to finish someone off almost.
02:27Look at the Florida Panthers, right?
02:29The Canes could have got back in that thing, right?
02:31I mean, they were right there.
02:33You know, it sounds cliche, guys, but the hardest game to win is that last game.
02:38And, you know, you start to drift.
02:39You start to get ahead of yourself.
02:41And it's human nature.
02:43You know, I've spoken to a lot of players and they'll tell you, you can't help but know,
02:47all right, well, we got three cracks at this, right?
02:49All right, we got a couple of more games here at home or, you know,
02:52and you start to think about it and it's up to the coach
02:55and it's up to the team to have that killer instinct.
02:57The Edmonton Oilers have had that killer instinct, right?
03:00They lost the first two to the Kings.
03:02The first time they had a chance to eliminate them, they did.
03:05Las Vegas Golden Knights, it was like, oh, it's going to be tough to eliminate Vegas
03:08in Vegas in game five.
03:09They did, right?
03:11We'll see, you know, a similar situation tonight.
03:13Some teams have that killer edge, know how to finish series.
03:18The Pacers, I'm sort of torn on, Scott.
03:20We saw it with the Cavs where they can sort of take the pedal off the metal a little bit,
03:25but I just think they're so much deeper than Knicks are.
03:28Everything's clicking for the Pacers.
03:29I got to take the four and a half tonight.
03:31I think the Pacers will win the series.
03:34I'm not worried about that.
03:35I think that there is potential tonight.
03:38Like the other night, I thought the Pacers played 48 minutes,
03:41and I thought the Knicks played about 40 minutes.
03:44And I think that there's potential to see that tonight from the Knicks.
03:49I mean, you get beat 4-1.
03:52It's embarrassing.
03:54They got to win this game.
03:55They got to go all out.
03:55And it would be three and six at home if they lose.
03:58I mean, three and six at home.
03:58And they got to go hard for 48 minutes and throw it all out there
04:03and at the very least take it back to Indy.
04:07I mean, three and six at home.
