00:00Garret, go ahead.
00:01Carolyn, you guys are very proud of your record on transparency.
00:03I have two transparency-related questions for you.
00:06Sure.
00:07On the President's dinner tonight, will the White House commit to making a list of the attendees public
00:11so people can see who's paying for that kind of access to the President?
00:15Well, as you know, Garret, this question has been raised with the President.
00:19I have also addressed the dinner tonight.
00:21The President is attending it in his personal time.
00:24It is not a White House dinner.
00:25It's not taking place here at the White House.
00:27But certainly, I can raise that question and try to get you an answer for it.
00:31Okay.
00:32And on the Qatari aircraft, the Air Force has said they're going to classify all the information
00:36about the work that has to get done to bring it up to snuff to be Air Force One.
00:40Previous Air Force One contracts, including the one that the President entered into in 2018, are public.
00:45That's available knowledge.
00:46Will the White House commit to releasing who's doing that work and the cost of that work?
00:51I understand that some elements might be classified about specific systems.
00:54Will we commit to releasing that basic information so people can see ultimately what this costs?
00:58Well, Garret, as you know, that's a question for the Department of Defense
01:01and the United States Air Force, who is accepting this jet as part of their fleet.
01:04But the President can declassify anything he wants.
01:06Well, you'll have to ask the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force,
01:09who is accepting this jet as part of its fleet.
01:12Peter.
