04:05I know already what to do regarding the conditions, whether it's hot or cold and humid, so it all depends.
04:15I don't know how it's going to be this year, but it might be up and down as well with the rain.
04:20So we'll have to just kind of react quickly, no point to overthink it.
04:26What was your idea of what it got?
04:30That's a hard question, actually, because the first one I won, it was obviously colder and the balls got heavy, it was also wet, you know, it was raining all the time, basically.
04:40But lately, you know, I felt like in hot conditions also, you know, my topspin is, you know, jumping a little bit higher, so it's hard to choose.
04:48I think I like both. I think, yeah, it's all about adjusting, and if I adjust well, I can play in both.
04:55I'm just wondering if there's so much success here. Do you have a favorite place in Roland Garros, some spot that you especially like on the grounds that has particularly happy associations or some history or something that just is a sort of favorite little place?
05:10It's hard to pick one, and it's not like I can go up there, you know, and just walk around peacefully.
05:17So, but earlier, you know, when I wasn't that popular here, I think the whole way to Simon Mathieu and Simon Mathieu Courts, it just, when they build it, like, I was just, you know, amazed, and I fell in love with it immediately.
05:32I only played, like, two matches there, but it was super fun, and it's just beautiful, you know.
05:38The botanical garden makes it all super special, and no other grandson has something like that. It's amazing.
05:44Hi, I wonder if you're going to, I know you're busy here for the next couple weeks, ideally, but I wonder if you're going to take time to, if you have the time to watch Rafa's ceremony on Sunday,
06:05and if you could reflect a little bit about Rafa's presence here at the tournament and you brushing up against him, getting to know him a little bit, how much that has meant to you in general?
06:14Well, I really want to watch it. I'll see what the schedule looks like for Monday, you know, if I'm going to play on Monday and everything, but I need to be aware that for sure I'm going to cry.
06:25So, we need to plan it wisely, but, I mean, I would love to be there because we should all kind of get together and celebrate, you know, Rafa and what he did for our sport
06:38and what kind of inspiration he was and still is, you know, and, yeah, like, it means a lot to me, so I would love to be there, but we'll see about the schedule.
06:50I know you're a fan of these. Have you seen the Lego art at the tournament this year?
06:57No, I haven't. Where is that?
06:59Outside of Chartrier, of one former champion.
07:03Oh, I haven't. I need to get there.
07:06I'll give you directions.
07:07Okay. Thanks.
07:09Is it, like, next to the sponsor booths?
07:14This corner stadium. Outside stadium.
07:18Oh, yeah. Okay. Let's talk after.
07:23Did you get a lift just coming here? I mean, just showing up?
07:26Did I get a lift?
07:27Yeah, emotional lift coming here and get a good feeling?
07:33Yeah, but, you know, it's not, what do you mean? Like, I feel good overall, so maybe I played bad some matches, but it's not like I need so much of emotional lift, like, but for sure it's nice to come here.
07:51Did you get an emotional lift?
07:55I haven't won four times, so, you know, just another tournament for me.
08:00I'm sorry, you're not lifted.
08:02I have a question.
08:17I got you mentioned, I think a few times this spring, about keeping positive and maybe not being a perfectionist. Can you talk a little bit about maybe your experience with that and how it's coming along? Are you making progress in that department and why is it so important to you?
08:30possible for not being a perfectionist, but for sure there are ways to like control it a bit more.
08:37Yeah, but lately, you know, when I made some mistakes on the court, I, you know, focused on
08:42them a little bit too much. I thought I'm working on them, but it was more like, you know, just
08:47anchoring on them. And I needed to realize that by myself, even though my team kind of told me
08:54that it's happening, I don't know, I just thought I'm working on it, you know, and that's the way to
09:00do it. So for sure, yeah, the perfectionist has been like a little bit, you know, harder past
09:08weeks, but it's not the first time, honestly. It's just the first time I'm probably speaking so much
09:15about it because everybody asks me, so I'm just working on it and we'll see. It's a constant, you know, process.
