00:07I think it's a job well done, but a job not finished.

00:11Of course, he has said that he will continue working on these issues,

00:15not, of course, to the degree that he's in the past.

00:18That was always the plan, that had always been the plan to set these things in motion.

00:22I think he's shaken up Washington.

00:24Here's what's different.

00:25But every president has said exactly what Donald Trump has said.

00:31In fact, you should do a collage sometime where you can take words from Bill Clinton,

00:35George W. Bush, Barack Obama, that have talked about government being too big,

00:39too bloated, and that things have to change,

00:42and government spending and fraud, waste, and abuse.

00:45This has been said repeatedly.

00:47In the past, how presidents dealt with this is they have commissions

00:50and blue-ribbon commissions and studies and the rest of it.

00:53And the most significant one was President Clinton when he appointed former Vice President Gore

01:00to lead a commission to reinvent government.

01:03Well, all the reinventions and all the commissions led to very little.

01:07The difference here is there is really now not only serious action has been taken

01:12with respect to some agencies, but really concrete plans in very, very short period of time

01:18identifying real abuse, real fraud, and spending that's unnecessary,

01:23and proposals to either eliminate it or the president taking executive actions

01:28that are in some cases being called into question in the courts to address these issues.
